We drive to Webster today for some errands. I have been wanting to eat there for a while now. Today, my partner surprised me with it. I had a steak sandwich. It had Peppadew cream spread, Arugula, and the beef was super tender. The bread crusty on the outside and soft on inside. It also came with fries. You could tell the fries are hand done, and fresh. I enjoyed it very much, and highly recommend it. My BF had the burger, he said it was really good. He enjoyed his meal too, very much. I always loved how cute it looked from the outside, and it is just as cute on the inside. Dress is casual, at least during lunch. I loved all the personal touches. Our waitress was on point, stress free, even though it was pretty busy for one server. I was impressed. It is bigger than I thought. The bar is when you walk in. Then they have a smaller dining area to the right, and a larger one to the left. It looks like they use the larger one for dining. It was a very smart set up. Decorated really well. French Farmhouse feel, in busy city. They did a great job. The little pig decorations, and how they transitioned the pig to their menu. We will definitely be going back. I saw so many different items I wanted to try. But today we kept it simple, due to time constraints. I just wish we had more time to enjoy it. But we will be back for dinner.

So impressed with this lunch experience! The server was so personable and paced the meal perfect. My non alcoholic peach ginger beer drink was very refreshing. My gf tried a bisque and I had a small wedge to begin. The wedge has fresh heirloom tomatoes and crispy flavorful bacon with crisp iceberg. My pork sandwich was phenomenal with caramelized onions savory pork and the roll was salty and chewy. The quiche was light and not overpowered by fillings. We chosen the dining room but there is also a patio. Please try this French restaurant!

What a great find out in Webster. We were in town for a swim competition over the weekend and ventured over the other side of ridge road and ran into this little French inspired gem. And it just so happened to be brunch. Double win. Service was excellent! Food was delicious

I been meaning to come here for a while... and it is worth the wait. Came in on Sunday, no kids food on the menu but they do offer kids food if you asked. Overall great food, hot fries!! I will be coming back

I haven't been here since 2020 and that's really silly cause the food is bangin n the drinks are stiff. Brunch is a must. We had signature cocktails, and each was amazing. The burger, sandwich and benedict were also very good. The potatoes could have used some more love...cooking, a little color or crisp would have been nice. They were good re-cooked the next day.

Stumbled upon this place by Accident, but that's often the best way to find a gem like this! Great people and Great food. The chef recommended our food, and we can't wait to get back and try the next recommendation. Thank you, Nikki and the staff, for a great Sunday and a memorable meal. :-) Kim & Ken

A hidden gem for the area - The Peppered Pig exceeded my expectations! I'd always known of it, finally had the opportunity to try it, and was not disappointed. Thoughtfully unique menu - wonderful service - amazing value. The goat cheese croquettes are life changing.

Never, ever judge a book by its cover! And so it is with Peppered Pig. Unassuming gives way to sweet smells of what's to come. Salads, sandwiches and OMG those fries! Don't even try to have just one. All flavor packed and delicious together or on their own. My only warning is if you come for lunch be prepared to walk out stuffed. Hey, think of it as an early dinner. Enjoy!

Delicious burger no bun with Brie and a small wedge salad instead of fries.

Enjoyed a low carb/keto meal at the Peppered Pig. Had their burger with Brie and substituted fries for a small wedge salad. The burger.... simple, juicy and cooked perfectly. The burger was thick enough to be juicy but not too thick to be overwhelming. They use a high quality beef with good fat content which is key for juiciness. Simply seasoned and I love Brie which always adds richness. The wedge salad offered a good balance of textures and flavors. The lettuce was cool and crisp. Everything on my plate worked together harmoniously. As for the front of the house, our waitress was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. I will definitely return.

We ordered the mussels that came with crusty bread, a cheese plate, salad, bougie fries, 2 drinks each and the crème brûlée. Everything was seriously so delicious. Cute restaurant and I see how they could get super busy on any given night. For my first time here, I was impressed by the quality of food and the authentically nice service. It was easy to make reservations the night before for a Tuesday dinner at4:30. Honestly there was no other party there but us for about a good 30-40 minutes so I would say a walk in on a Tuesday early on before 5:15 would entail in zero wait. I got one w rye and rubarb, and it just tasted like a mike's hard lemonade. The mussels were delicious, fat and tender, swimming in a delicious broth that tasted more Thai than French, but really good. Came with a little baguette. The salmon was good, but should be listed as an appetizer. It's under the word 'grand' on the menu which literally means 'big.' Besides being a tiny portion, the sides were only for aesthetic purposes, not for feeding humans. The plate was pretty but not fulfilling. No need to return.

I have been going to Cent-Dix for 10 years and let me tell you this restaurant doesn't disappoint,…read moreand is probably my favorite in Ithaca. We are talking about great execution on basic french dishes here with excellent service on the commons. It's also the most elegant of the restaurants in the commons in my opinion. None are particularly elegant, but Cent-Dix feels the nicest. A must get is the beef tartare. It's so good, it's better than many tartare's I've had in france. Just hands down an easy winner. To cut it's richness I think you should get the Frisee aux Lardons. No matter the table size this is a perfect salad. You can always get more salads or greens, but if the table size is 2 or 6, everyone will like this. The fat, acid, bitterness is perfect. Steak frites are amazing, but even better is the cote de bouef on Saturdays. Either way you won't go wrong, but this restaurant does steak so well, and has good wines to pair with the steak. I've personally never had room for dessert, but everyone always orders it and I have some. It's good, but my favorite is that the espresso machine is always running after dinner for a nice pick me up before my walk on the commons!

I came with a friend and we tried the pear appetizer, mussels, leek and gruyere tart, and the ricotta gnocchi. Honestly, everything was really good. The gnocchi was pillowy and the tart did not have a soggy bottom. For dessert we tried the Pear frangipane which was also good. Quite a strong almond flavor and a little on the sweet side. Overall very good, I would recommend!

I've been so excited to review Cure!…read more This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in town and dare I say it - my favorite of the good luck family chain of restaurants I love the ambiance - unlike good look it is a bit more cozy. I love sitting at the bar, the bartenders are very fun to talk to! Let's talk drinks - so many options and the menu is so unique! they have a shaken, still, and bubbly option, something for everyone. I think some of them can be non alcoholic if you ask :) the drinks are always impressive, I've never been disappointed the food menu is perfect for sharing. It's French inspired cuisine so it is definitely meat heavy. My favorite dishes are below: the bahn mi is sooo good, the sauce is creamy and the bread from Flour city is perfectly crunchy The beef tartare is such a great portion and under 20 bucks!! Most places charge a lot more for it. If raw meat is not your thing then I'd avoid it but I'd give it a chance if you're adventurous. And finally the amazing steak - medium rare, juicy, perfectly salted. The fries are super addicting. Not dry at all. They have a good house sauce to dip it in (akin to good luck). Overall this is a AMAZING place with such an inspired drink and food menu. I'm already thinking about my next venture to Cure :)

Delicious, rustic French food, beautiful cocktails and a table for two in a charming, glowy dining room. I am serious when I say the charm here is forefront. But not at all second to that charm is the food! I had the merguez sausage over root vegetable and lentils and my friend had the beef bourguignon. Both of these were stand out dishes! The melted brie with chilled potatoes to start complimented these dishes beautifully! The cocktails were so well-made and I can't tell you thankfull I am that we were directed here. It's a cool spot- restaurant on the ground floor, and upstairs they sell different things made locally, and also clothes. It was fun to walk around while the food was being made. Our server was Kara, and she was awesome! My nephew has a peanut allergy so she was checking in on the entire order and sides to be sure we were in the clear! She was so helpful and friendly, even when there was an issue it wasn't a giant deal. My nephew and I started out by looking at the protein shake menu. I chose the green goddess protein shake, and he went with the cocoa Berry. Let me just say that mine was so good I finished it quickly. Nephew ordered the garlic sweet chili hummus appetizer to start. It came with freshly cut pita quarters, carrots, and strips of yellow and red peppers. Fresh, crunchy, hummus was absolutely addictively delicious and more than enough to share! He then got the pesto panini, my older brother ended up landing on the Italian panini (they sold out of the corned beef). He also got the soup special, stuffed cabbage soup and that looked really delicious and piping hot. Lots of cabbage and meat along with the broth. I had FOMO for sure. One panini came with a side salad, the other chose the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad that came with balsamic. So tasty I tried it later bc we took it to go, and I ate it all!
