Hubby and I ate here pre-covid and it was delicious. Since covid, I've been cooking at home almost exclusively but after about two months of SIP fatigue, we started ordering take out at a handful of our favorite restaurants. Called the restaurant earlier around 1pm 4/30/2022 to confirm that we are going to be there around 7:40pm! The manager said that's fine they will still take us! So we drove like an hour and got there before 7:40pm we were seated and served water etc then the same manager changed his mind and offered food to go only! I understand the place closed at 8pm but you can't treat customers like that! So disappointed and won't go back again!! read more

I originally wanted to order the pho noodle to go but was told they only offer large size for to go orders so that's very disappointing. In the end ordered sandwich to go which came out shockingly small portion and definitely not worth the price they charge! read more

Yum- a unique take on shrimp & pork spring rolls, they offer beef spring rolls. Never thought of incorporating beef but it works. Also had stir fried noodlles since it was recommended by the waiter, (pretty cute btw), was very flavorful . My all time favorite is their Thai tea. Would come back just for that! read more

The restaurant is a log cabin, with jazz music, and the best Vietnamese cuisine I've had in the Bay Area. It sounds crazy, but it works! Every ingredient used to make every dish was fresh and flavorful. The spring rolls with peanut sauce were sublime. The combo pho was delicious (we loved the meatballs and brisket), and the pork banh mi was perfection. The prices were reasonable, and all of the servers were friendly and attentive. Awesome! Food is great and the service is superb! Been here 5 times in the past month and the food is spot-on authentic Vietnamese. The pho is scratch-made, including the flexy noodles and tender meatballs...very aromatic and herbal. The banh-mis are warm with the right spice and herbal tones, the chicken and pork ones are succulent. The vermicelli bowls are beautifully presented with the same tender, spiced meat, cool crisp veggies, juicy shrimp, and perfectly made nouc-cham to trickle on everything. But the "elephant in the room" is surely the very cool cabin interior design, I've never seen anything like this in a Vietnamese place, it's comfortable, warm, cozy, and very clean! The staff is very friendly and gracious, top notch! Surely, I can still spend the additional $5-$7 in gas to drive the one-way 30 minute trek to San Jose to also get authentic Viet-food, but I can finally get the same really good, delicious food conveniently nearby in a better atmosphere deserving of my hard-earned money. read more

Being that it's in the middle of downtown Los Gatos and to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant is already a treat. The pho cabin lives up to its name warm cozy and full of nice decorative cabin theme. We ordered the pho Dat biet and shrimp Eggrolls . Left with wonderful experience and the food lived up to its name that they used authentic ingredients from their mom's recipe. Seems pretty popular. Well, the portions have gotten more generous since my first visit shortly after they first opened. That's a positive. The lemongrass chicken vermicelli was good. Chicken itself was a bit flat in flavor, but there was a good sized portion of it atop the usual ingredients. Spring rolls were good, prefer the veggie one. Companion said Pho was good, but wasn't "bowled over" completely by it. Yeah, can go every so often. And, it's local. Sticking to my 3.5-4 star rating. read more

If you find yourself in the latter situation, head to Pho cabin,home to the best Pho in Los Altos, with a nice location for group dining. The Pho here so delicious, noodles are so wider and broth is nearly see through. Its slightly different than other versions you'll find around town, and its tasty, their meat is high quality, and their broth is light and lemon-grassy. This pho place is one of the best in the area. After a few years of trying a bunch of pho places in the Mountain View/Palo Alto area, this one stood out. The broth is clear and clean tasting.
