The restaurant has a really cute atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and the food came out incredibly fast. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. The sizzling beef was flavorful but way too salty for my taste. The fish sauce chicken wings were just okay, and the egg rolls were decent but nothing that really stood out. The beef soup was light and comforting, and the milk tea was refreshing. Overall, I enjoyed the experience more because of the service and the ambiance than the food itself. I'd consider coming back to try other dishes, but I probably wouldn't reorder the sizzling beef.

First time here, and I worried about the msg hurricane I sometimes feel after pho, there was none! The broth was clean and flavorful, I put all the greens in. The chicken was clean and hot. Gf tried grilled pork vermicelli and enjoyed everything being fresh and flavorful. Joyce was a gracious and charming server! Will definitely be back!

We've been wanting to try this pho spot in downtown Palo Alto because every time we walk by, it smells amazing from outside. We came right at opening at 5 pm on a Monday. As soon as we walked in though, we noticed a pretty unpleasant smell inside. It smelled like a wet towel or damp carpet, and honestly it almost made us leave. We decided to stay and give the food a chance anyway. We ordered two different pho dishes and both were really good. I especially loved the fresh noodles. We also randomly got a side of fries, which ended up being surprisingly really good too. The best part though was the complimentary pandan waffle. I genuinely loved it!! The bathrooms could also be kept up a little better. Overall, I would come back for the food, but I really hope they figure out the smell situation because it definitely affects the experience.

Rescuing my kiddo from dorm food! Kid ordered Rare USDA Choice Flap Meat, Brisket, and Beef Shank Pho (24 hours bone marrow soup with option of fresh noodle, regular noodle, or egg noodle) for a triple hit of protein and a Thai Iced Tea while I opted for a smaller lunch of Pork Egg Rolls (pork, taro, and carrot) and a Vietnamese Salted Cream Coffee (equivalent of 3+ shots of espresso!). All tasted exactly as it should. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly roomy, offering plenty of tables. We experienced no wait to be seated, but service was slightly lacking, with us having to get the staff's attention rather than them proactively coming to us. Note: an 18% service charge is automatically added to your bill, but you can ask to remove it if you wish. We appreciated the signage disclosing this upfront, and didn't bother requesting to leave a tip of our own choosing.

Beef was so tender in the combination pho and came with lots of beef. The Bo ne's presentation was okay but was delicious. The imperial crab rolls were good but not sure I'd get again. The service was okay, they also have outdoor seating. Definitely would come back to try more, especially since the quality of the beef was top tier.

Pho Ha Noi is hands down one of the best spots for pho and Vietnamese food! This location is especially fun because it has a bar -- perfect for grabbing drinks and hanging out with friends! The pho is a solid 10/10: rich, flavorful broth, and super fresh noodles. Their coffee is delicious and strong (just how I like it), and the spring rolls are a must-order. We had a large party, and July took amazing care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Even with a big group, the food came out incredibly fast. Highly recommend!

Came here for dinner. Located in prime location of downtown of Palo Alto. I like how they put a clean paper on the table before you get seated. I ordered BBH. Food comes really out quick. A little pricy but food is good. Friendly staffs. This place is clean and spacious. Great place if you are craving for Vietnamese food

I came here yesterday and really enjoyed it! I got the pho dac biet and nuoc Mia. The pho was phonomenal! I give it a 10/10! The broth was very rich and flavorful. It was the first time that I didn't need to add any hoisin sauce to the broth and it still tasted amazing. I wasn't a fan of their nuoc Mia. It wasn't sweet or flavorful enough. I would highly recommend giving Pho Ha Noi a try! I would love to come back.

We got seated right away and the service was good, but they were busy. I think the highlight of the meal was surprisingly the free pandan waffle that they gave out to us at the end. Hot and fresh and not too sweet. I've been to the other pho Ha Noi locations in the South Bay and this one does not compare to them. The food was just ok and the garlic noodles with shaken beef was way too salty. I would say the Milpitas and San Jose location is way better. Inside is spacious and has a lot of seating.

    Short rib pho

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants! I visit their other locations often, and the quality is usually consistent across all of them. The service was good and attentive, staff would usually refill our water from time to time. For this visit, I ordered the Short Rib Pho because they were offering a 10-year anniversary special. The broth was light and comforting, perfect for the cold weather. The short rib was very tender and fell right off the bone.

Tonight's dinner was excellent! I came back for the short rib pho and it did not disappoint! The chicken wings covered in fish sauce was also equally satisfying. But best of all was the service tonight! Mary was my server and she very kindly observed my hesitation in stripping the meat from the very large bone while I was ordering so she offered to have the kitchen remove it for me beforehand, and even offered me shears to cut the meat afterwards. The food also came out blazingly fast- I was still talking to her and the pho had already come out. I will be back for sure!

Order: Vietnamese short rib beef stew: with rice noodle: more earthy than tomato base broth, 4 pieces of tender short rib, there is not a lot of noodles. bowl is deceptive due to the shape Grilled pork and pork egg roll vermicelli: bean sprouts on the bottom, noodles and veggies in the middles topped with pork. more chewiness to the pork. fish sauce was not spicy or sauce, more salty. crispy egg rolls Sriracha, hoisin and chili are provided upon requests. We were provided free pandan waffle for the table which was a welcomed treat, lots of pandan flavor in them. wait was 15 minute for a late afternoon lunch. Floral theme for the decorations. Parking can be tricky in the area due to the narrow streets: lots are available and you need to circle a couple times.

Oxtail pho, spring rolls, beef stew, tea, meat sides, french bread

Best Oxford tail pho in the entire Bay Area. Served a decent beef stew flavor with bread as well. * I am a stickler for authentic Viet cuisine and this met and surpassed my expectations. An exceptional pho broth is without tons of oil and super tasty broth. Best part was the super soft and tender ox tail pieces of meat that you could easily slurp in a breath. I have been on a years long search for the best ox tail and found it. If they can do ox tail like that, the kitchen can do any pho broth well. It is every difficult to make a decent ox tail soup! * Service style was traditional and you could eat like a family member at home leaving scraps on the table paper mat. * Joyce and July are just the most kind and friendly service staff members at the restaurant. Barista was super helpful and on point as well named Qyen. * Thank you for a great dinner experience for me and my coworker. Can't wait to come back again!!

Excellent food quality and service. We went there this past long weekend and Joyce, our server, was great as well!

The service we received was good, they were attentive. That said, I dislike the 4% employer mandates fee that they added. Even though it is stated in the small text in the menu, it is still sketchy. Just add that to the price from the beginning so we know what we expect to pay, instead of adding extra cost at the end, when we receive the bill. Here's what we ordered: - Pandan creme brulee: has good Pandan flavor, but I don't think I actually like creme brulee in general (I prefer Flan) so I can't say about this one. - Siam spice cocktail: good. I'd order again - Clay pot cod: cod was cooked to perfection. Overall, it's good but from a Vietnamese point of view, I think it could be better - Garlic prawn noodles: prawns were good, my family said the noodles were very flavorful. - Tamarine prawns: my favorite. Really delicious, love the crunch from the fried tiny noodles - Shaking beef: not my favorite. It didn't have the flavors I'm looking for from shaking beef. However, my husband still liked it. The meat was very tender. - Blue crab tacos: loved the crunch and the crab flavor - Empress rise: yummy sticky rice - Sunrise in Hanoi cocktail: this looks cool but the flavor is just okay.

They have a huge variety of different cocktails. For drinks we kept it non-alcoholic and ordered: Sea salt Vietnamese coffee and pandan coffee. They were both delicious with a strong taste of coffee however the sweetness evens it out. Food we ordered: Banh cuon - 5/5. This was huge! The banh cuon was good and it had a great amount of filling. Chubby pho - 4/5 this is their classic pho broth and we added a bone rib to it. Unfortunately they mistaken it for a side of bone marrow instead. The broth tasted fresh and clean without a lot of MSG. The pho noodles were thick since it's northern pho and it was good with the right amount of chewiness to it. Unlike other pho restaurants, it doesn't come with bean sprouts or basils but you can request for the bean sprouts. Banh khot - 4/5 I love Banh khot. It had a very dominant coconut flavor to it but it was crispy and very flavorful The service was very friendly. Their server Linh was very mindful and observant. She noticed that my friend was pregnant and advised us to sit at a regular table instead of their high tops and cleared a table for us. The waiter himself was nice as well.
