Tasty sandwiches! Ordered for lunch and dinner due to us going out of town, so tried three sandiches: Roast Beef and Wasabi, Turkey and Artichoke Focaccia, Grilled Chicken Panini. They were all rich, but also light... Got a garden salad also... salad was so-so. But the mark of success is that the leftover sandwiches ate cold great, too. I'll definitely mark this place down as a good sandwich joint around! read more

I recently got a job in the building above this amazing café, oh man when I walked by the savory amazing sweet smell was like an aphrodisiac. As soon as I got out of my interview & went in there & placed my first order, the Ham, salami, provolone cheese, mayo, tomato & lettuce Deli sandwich. I'm hooked.. I'm on a mission to try as many of their foods & drinks that I can! The staff is so friendly & helpful with those who haven't been there before, there is a rhythm to the hum there & once you get it down, it's fun & delicious! It's a small place that is packed with an amazing vibe that just attracts you. This place is one of the best parts of my day when I am on the side of town! Thank you... Delicious sandwiches, the bread has a good texture and they are generous with the meat. Their French dip is amazing!! It's like toasted cheese bread with roast beef. I've tried several soups and they were all good. I want to try their wraps and paninis next but the French dip is so good it's hard to want to get something different. read more

A perfect little lunch stop during our visit to Puyallup. This place was busy even for an early lunch on a Thursday. We enjoyed their chipotle turkey special, a chicken panini, tortilla soup, and a cowboy salad. The salad was a surprisingly tasty little pasta and veggie salad with a smokey flavor. Sandwiches were quite large and I was stuffed after a half sandwich and the pasta salad side. read more

Waaaayyyy Overpriced. I don't mind paying $15 for a sandwich if it's loaded with protein, flavor and fresh but this was very mediocre Lack of meat on sandwiches. Salads not fresh and lacking ingredients. Won't be coming back. read more

I had the veggie panini right after I gave birth to my daughter and it was the best thing I could've eaten after delivery. I'm obsessed with this place. 10/10 experience. The focaccia bread was fluffy and flavorful, the chicken was tender, as well as the homemade honey mustard and homemade cheesy garlic spread really brought out the flavors of the other components on the dish. Definitely need to stop by if your in the area. read more

This was my very first encounter with the Pickled Pepper, and I wanted to love this quaint little shop. However, after an employee making certain I was corrected each and every single time I said only "Ham and Cheese" I finally tried the "Not Just Ham and Cheese"....with HAIR! I ordered Pickled Peppers via door dash for lunch and I was glad to see they had a veggie wrap and sandwich option. I got the wrap and the broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was a little too gelatinous for my liking but it wrap was interesting. I enjoyed the artichoke and peppers. It was a bit on the soggy side but I think it was because of the delivery. Overall, I would try it out again but maybe in person. read more

Omg so so so so much better than i would have ever expected. Not my first time at a cute little shop in an office building and expectations were slightly on the lower side. Staff was super friendly and helpful (since it was my first time) and food was absolutely delicious. So fresh and flavorful and just enough to get you full without being in a coma. Every time I've gone here (about 4 times now) I've really enjoyed the paninis and pastas. The mixture of flavors is absolutely delicious. I've never eaten anywhere where this happens. I have been in there several times in the past few months out of convenience. However, the staff completely shirks all COVID protocols. I wear my mask and go up to the register to order and both the cashier and anyone working behind her (in a very small space I might add) have their masks around their chins. They have clearly given false info to yelp about their COVID protocols (they aren't even in compliance with the state laws). Also, I saw the woman who makes the food cough onto the food with her mask around her chin. Yuck, read more

OMG the aussie sandwich. I had an internship around here and this was my lunch spot. One day we ordered in lunch for a meeting and this was my order. Afterwards I raced to the orderer to figure out where to get this sandwich again. Once I found it I was in love. Ok so the sandwich: delicious bread (don't quote me but it might be foccacia), sweet onions, chicken, honey mustard (?). I don't know, but it's amazing. Just go order it. read more

Oh yes!! This place hits the spot. I called in my order and was able to pick it up during my lunch break. Friendly service when I walked in the door. I wish I would have taken a picture of this sandwich but I ate it too fast! The meat was plentiful, veggies fresh, but that bread.... That was magical and made the sandwich! We needed to stop for a quick sandwich and this place is great. We both got the Italian sub and the bread was superb. Toasted perfectly. Great toppings, just the right mix of meats, cheese and veggies with a nice addition of dressing and Mayo. Really happy we stopped to check them out. We had headed for this place a while ago but it was Saturday and they are only open during the week. It looked interesting so we tried it again. It is a small location in the business building. I figured that the quality of the food is not that special since they have a captive audience. The staff was friendly but that isn't enough to make a special trip. We ordered the Tomato Basel Pizza which was on the cold side and nothing special. I had the Roast beef sandwich which had lots of meat taste OK and actually was medium rare. However - You get nothing with it. No chips or pickle - just the sandwich which is the price of other places that offer a little extra. Also the bread is supposed to be Sour Dough bu taste like cheap white bread. I did find out later - if you ask for a pickle you might get one - really - so if they have to they will make the plate a little special but they are hoping you don't - a pickle slice is not that much. read more

Unfortunately had a very poor experience. Ordered a hot sandwich and potato salad. I ate a few bites of each before I realized both tasted... off. Like Aunt Carols potato salad that's been in the sun for 2 hrs. I let them know and they said they would check into it. Fast forward 6 hours later and I was violently ill. Called and informed them and they were very kind and apologetic and offered to refund my meal. Unfortunate but doubtful I'll be back. read more

Love the Pickled Pepper! Paninis are huge and fresh and delicious! There's enough to feed two people for sure! I haven't had their soup yet but I'm sure it's fresh and homemade. This is one of my favorite spots in Puyallup! Everything is made with love and you can tell. Friendly, attentive staff, the quality of the food is great, the coffee is amazing. The french Dip is a must but i encourage to try any of the items on the menu, you won't be disappointed! I start my day with The pickled Pepper just about every day. read more

The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

Several staff members even came out to our table to say hello and make him feel welcome. The food was fantastic. I ordered the HOBO, and it was absolutely delicious. My spouse had the pastrami sandwich, which was just as impressive. We sat outside - which is really nice - but the inside is super clean and very welcoming. The combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and how they treated our dog made this an experience we'll remember. Decided to try this place after I read about them on a best sandwich shop in WA state list. I came in a little after noon on my lunch break, the place was full of people and I got the last single table there. The employee taking orders was patient and suggested several well liked items off the menu and I got the toasted french dip sub. This was hands down the best sandwich I have ever tasted! Better than anything I have tried at any popular food chain! Decently priced for a filling meal, came with a side of au jus and house salad. Place never slowed while I was there. Stopped by The Pickled Pepper on Main Ave and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell they don't cut corners. The service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out a little longer. I came here for lunch today for the first time. It was referred to me by a friend and the service was amazing. I ordered a Panini. It's been a while since I had one, but I was overwhelmed with flavor. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, helpful and inviting.they have a couple tables inside and a few tables outside but even being in a small location they were fast and the food was delicious. She took my number, told me the manager/owner was out and would return my call within a couple hours. I gave it until 12:45, called again, and was told he was still out. Between my husband and I, we had to call SIX times to get ahold of a manager/owner. It took 7 hours to get hold of the manager/owner Kevin -- who was apparently grocery shopping for 7 hours according to his staff. Initially I was only asking for the extra $20 the waitress had taken from me back but after having to disrupt my entire day and deal with this horrible experience for subpar food, we asked for a full refund. I woke up this morning (8/21) to a $0.00 credit being returned to my card. LOL We own a restaurant and have a combined 30+ years experience in food & bev. This experience has been shameful on Homestead's part. The subpar guest experience was not enough to complain about on its own but it has been INCREDIBLY frustrating to take time out of our busy schedules trying to get ahold of someone to fix this issue. While the tip refund is appreciated, we are in the right to ask for a full refund. At this point, we will be disputing the entire charge with our bank and will never return.

I did not enjoy the few banh mi's I tried in Vietnam, mainly because the meat was never really lean. I felt the bánh mì at Toast Mi was probably one of the best that I've ever had. I ordered the one with pork (the Mekong) and asked for no pate. The sandwich is absolutely huge and it was beyond delicious. I would highly recommend! I'll definitely be back!
