Drinks came quickly & our waitress was attentive throughout our dinner. We started off with apps which were pretty good, but the star of the meal for me was the Lobster Roll - verrrrry good! We also were treated to an awesome sunset visible from our table. We sat inside as it was a hot day, but the outdoor area looked to be hoppin' ..next visit (& cooler weather) we'd like to dry the outdoor seating. All-in-all a good experience! read more

This local spot had amazing seafood and views. The crab cake was FULL of lump crab meat! It was delicious! Our favorite dishes included: crab dip, crab cakes/balls, fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp, fried oysters, hush puppies (and the ranch was so good!) The views are obviously amazing. Sunset on point... The food was good, but the vibe was even better! Came by with a group of friends after a trip to Solomons Island to celebrate the end of summer and enjoyed A1, attentive service from our server, and absolutely beautiful views on the pier while indulging on burgers, drinks and seafood! It was a little chilly the day we visited, but even still, choosing to sit as close to the water as possible was the best decision we could make! Eating while appreciating the beauty of the water makes your meal taste better - believe me! LOL. That's not to say what we ordered wasn't good all on it's own - everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My wife, mother in law, and I stopped here for a late lunch while traveling from Point Lookout. The meal started off with lukewarm coffee. We asked politely for fresh cups of hot coffee which the waitress obliged, but seemed to be unhappy about. She took both cups, but it took close to ten minutes to return with fresh cups. Overall, she didn't seem happy to be there or serve us, and didn't smile until she gave us the check. The food was just okay with the exception of the cream of crab soup. Nice chunks of crab and very tasty. As for the rest of the order, the hush puppies were a little dry. My haddock sandwich had a nice large piece of fish, but the beer batter was tasteless as was the remoulade sauce and coleslaw that came with it. An order of fried oysters were small, bland, and overcooked. We also ordered a piece of Smith Island coconut cake for dessert. It was a nice large serving, but dry, not a lot of flavor, and not what we hoped for or expected. It wasn't finished. Overall, even though I'd consider the food average, the coffee and wait service brought the rating down to a 2. The restaurant wasn't crowded, maybe five tables filled at most, so I don't understand the reason for the poor service. Flies having to be swatted from our food did not help the rating. The Pier seems to get some four and five star reviews, but it doesn't get my wife's or my recommendation. Maybe a bad day? Doesn't matter, I won't be back anyway. I would like to say the service here wasnt the best. Upon walking to the host stand we were greeted with the look of digust after they were just smiling with the family prior. fast forward my boyfriend ordered the wings, and i ordered the crab dip. The waitress said it would be 8 wings but it was 7 not big of a deal but he would like to have what was told. He asked for the extra wing the waitress said " do you want me to bring one wing?" YES , YOU said there were 8. She later brings the wing back and shoves a spoon in my crab dip that i DIDN'T ask for or if you were gonna give it to me HAND it to me instread of putting it in my food like a child. Tried the pier for the first time this weekend and had a great experience. Our server was wonderful and so attentive, I wish I could remember her name. I had a watermelon margarita and it was delicious. I ordered the cedar plank salmon with caesar salad and rice. The salmon was reallllly good. Husband ordered the special which was a crab grilled cheese. He wasn't really a fan, and it was kinda pricey for what it was. The view from our table was awesome. Ate here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Food and service were amazing. The view is beautiful however we were sat in the middle of a bunch of highly intoxicated individual who were just standing in the middle of the dining room being obnoxiously loud that's the only downside to the atmosphere. I had the grilled swordfish which was amazing, I got hush puppies and onion rings with it , the hush puppies were decent but not sweet which I found very odd. This place was super mediocre for the prices. The Oysters Rockefeller were decent, but only came with 4 oysters. The dozen raw oysters did not taste too fresh. The blackened tuna appetizer was extremely disspointing. My two family members ordered the burger which looked pretty good, but all the appetizers really need some revamping. There are bathrooms towards the middle of the restaurant. -Food- Lobster roll (served cold) was pretty good. I personally prefer the warm butter and toasted rolls, but it was still chunky in all the best ways. The half and half soup (tomato/cream combo) doesn't arrived mixed so it doesn't look as appetizing as it could be. -Future- Didn't experience it, but the bar area in the back (further towards the water) looked spacious and a lively place to hang out. read more

I came here with my two dogs at the recommendation of a friend who use to live in the area. Had a great time! The views out on to the water were great, and in good weather the outdoor seating area was perfect. There were areas of sun, shade, or even a covered "indoor" area outside on the pier. Staff was friendly and attentive. They had my favorite beer on tap, which is always a win. I love me a seared tuna, so we ordered that as an appetizer. It was incredible. Cooked to perfection, with a delicious seasoning around the edges and a perfect tender, raw center. I could have ordered three of those all night and been content. I ordered the fish n chips for my main meal, and it did not disappoint. Flavorful outside crust, buttery white fish inside. The two fillets were HUGE and I didn't even finish the entirety of it, though I did try my best. It was a slight challenge to cut the fish with my fork since they were set on top of the french fries, but finally I realized I needed to just reallocate my basket space and all was well. The french fries were also delicious. My pups enjoyed their nap outside and each got their own personal water bowl. Definitely worth checking out, I hope to be back! read more

You can't beat the view from the pier. I had a Monterey Chicken sandwich and my wife had Shrimp Tacos. Both of them were well prepared and good. French Fries were a little cold to be honest. Service was really bad. We waited for a long time even for just a lemon for hot tea. When the waitress returned again, she apologized because it was so busy yet she just had four tables. Then at the end, she dropped our check and never came back. My husband found her at the bar sitting and talking to people and she apparently said she forgot about us. My parents had tried this place and my mom RAVED about her food, so when she went and asked me if I wanted anything I asked for the same thing she had got and it did not disappoint! Now firstly - the presentation was a mind blowing setup. For this to have been a To-Go order, the presentation was still nice (as in the picture) Secondly - the food. The Kale Crunch Salad was not bad, I just feel it could have been better. You could tell that the kale was nice and fresh because it definitely tasted fresh. But the star of the show was the Crab Dip Pretzel! All I can say is GET IT!!! I had one to myself and it took me 3 days to even fully finish. The crab dip alone was great. Very well seasoned and not too overwhelming with old bay. Not too much cheese. The pretzel was soft (even after microwaving). Both of those together was truly just perfection. My husband and I visited during the Taste of Solomon's Island event. The sangria was super strong. The crabby mac and cheese very filling (though it had a considerable amount of shells in it which I detest). I wasn't disappointed necessarily but I wasn't wowed either. Where to begin. At first the place seemed really nice. But the visit would get worse as time went on. Got our drinks, one had mold in the ice. MOLD. IN. THE. ICE. Which means several others have had drinks with ice from a dirty machine. Then the wait for food was a bit ridiculous but could have been worse. While some of our food was great like the Scallops, the fish and chips were anything but. The fish fell apart, breading and all and had what seemed like water in the basket which is a sign of frozen fish fried to what they think is perfection. And let's not get started on service. While some were able to do their jobs, our waiter and another had to talk about their favorite Facebook posts, or whatever the constant phone gazing was, while we sat within 10 feet of them waiting for our checks. Completely oblivious to their tables or surroundings. And as seen on the pictures, why post up food to be served RIGHT NEXT TO THE DUMPSTER?!?! Then walk around the dumpster on trips to serve the table in which it was to be serveFish Tacosd. The two stars were mainly for the scallops, otherwise this place was a complete waste of overpriced food and drinks. McDonald's can stand this place up any day. read more

This is one of the 'to go places' when you are in Solomon's Island. Perfect location and view, you ask for. We went there twice; for after coffee and dessert. Best thing about this restaurant is the huge windows through which you can catch the sunset over the bridge. We ending up staying there longer. The chocolate cake was delicious and the key lime pie was on a bit sweeter side for us, but very tasty as well. The brunch menu was wholesome. We were group of five and not very excited about the buffet, so they provided us with this tasting platter. A typical brunch menu cooked to its best, especially the french toasts! We came here because we wanted a late seafood dinner, preferably on the water, and this was about the only restaurant open past 9:00 (except the usual fast food places). We found the food to be quite good. The restaurant was clean and service good. Our food came out hot and was quite tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area (and cheaper than most seafood places in the DC area). Unfortunately it was cold and rainy so the deck was out.
