I'm Completely Heartbroken Over My Favorite Bowling Ally. We decided to Shoot over after my son's 11:15 hockey game @ the Ice Denn that got over about 1215. we got there about 1:03 PM made a very large food order and then sat there for about four hours and then absolutely never received a single food order item!! not our drinks not even a pitcher of water. The Birthday party that we were attending ordered a few pizzas so my son got one or two slices of completely burnt black pizza! It was absolutely Disgusting. I'm sure the family did not say anything because they are not well off and they would've never complained but they sure of shit should've!!!! Not a Single Employee came to us to tell us they were sorry we didn't receive our food or that the party was nasty burnt. we decided we were exhausted and hungry after so many hours of being there had a conversation with the general manager and finally left absolutely devastated & Starving!!! after my son playing hockey all morning just to not eat where we paid to eat until we left after 3-4 of waiting for NOTHING!!! read more

The overall feel of the place is tired and worn. Just look anyplace other than the bowling lanes. Staff service is.... Nonexistent outside prime hours. Most if not all of the staff appear to be in constant pain; as if trapped having to relive the same miserable day over and over. The Pin N Cue - Bowling Near Me - Whitefish, Montana

The Pin & Cue provided us just the right experience for our retreat, as The Big Lebowski, and all its dude-ness, compelled us to hit the lanes, reenacting all of the ridiculous scenes and quoting all of the annoying one-liners. But in all seriousness, this alley gives way to pretty much all you can dream of and desire: bowling--with lights galore, families posting up right next to your lane, and an abundance of janky balls; barbecue--because, well who does not want some smoked meat in Whitefish; and beer. Beer is the all-inclusive beverage, after all, pending the age of 21+. The one boo-boo in the experience came when we were given 2 cracked pint glasses--means for a lawsuit, to say the least. Simplicity takes precedent here, and I would definitely encourage you to roll some balls here if you have an itch for bowling. read more

Worst food and best wifi in Whitefish!

The bowling was decent. Everything was up to date and the place was clean and for the most party experience there was pretty good. Until the end where the one of the employees referred to me as a "short asian". It's all in good now but my friends who were with me won't stop calling me the "short asian" guy now. Bottomline: Pin n Cues has extremely poor customer service and dining room cleanliness.. Experience: I recently went in there for a to-go order so I approached the counter. I scanned the room and the place was a disaster might I add. Anyway, I grabbed a menu that is specifically there at the front counter for customers to take and place an order. I told the waitress at the counter what I would like and she immediately stopped me and said "Are you from the bowling alley? I said no. She said "Look!! you are have to sit at a table before we can take your order!" Her tone was absolutely unacceptable. She grabbed the whole restaurant's attention with her nasty tone. Can someone on Yelp please tell me why I need a table to place a to-go order? Anyway, I explained that to her and she looked at another server and said "Your taking this one". As I waited for my food an elderly woman from one of the tables inside the restaurant approached me and my wife apologizing on the waitress's behalf. The elderly woman tried to make me understand why the waitress may possibly be acting like this today. But in my mind there is no excuse. No matter what is going on in your life you are supposed to leave all that negativity out the door as soon as you clock-in and maintain professionalism throughout your shift. Side note: I'm still contemplating whether it was a racial thing. The entire state is Caucasian dominate. The wife and I are both African American. Nonetheless the experience still added to the level of embarrassment when everybody was looking in my direction at the time of the incident. I just don't understand where the animosity was coming from. Final Thoughts: They are rated A+ for their Kitchen cleanliness. I absolutely love their Mini Mac burger, fries and milkshakes, but I'm NEVER going back there again. Good food is only half the equation. You have to also have good customer service. This place is the ultimate dive hangout. They have a bowling alley, bar, pool hall, video arcade, and 24-hour restaurant. I heard rumors of teenage drug deals going down here when I was in high school and I wouldn't doubt it, but I also worked here full time as a dishwasher for a summer and had a good time. I probably should have known better than to go to a bowling alley restaurant for lunch, but I had heard a couple good reviews. It was terrible. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and potato salad: roll was soggy (drenched) in the "au jus" (that doesn't normally accompany a cheese steak); meat was salty and had a funky texture; onions and peppers were barely cooked; and, the cheese was gross. The Pin is a fantastic place to grab some drinks, watch practically any game in the tv-filled bar, play some video games, bowl a few lanes, and you can even get your laundry done while you are hanging out! The restaurant has consistently great food and portions for a very affordable price. The staff is alway nice and very helpful from the restaurant to the bowling lanes. It's a sweet place but they got no damn cue table. They should probably change there name unless they plan on slappin a cue table somewhere in there. The arcade was a pretty sweet addition but they took out the table to make room for the arcade. It's a damn shame there still proud to call themselves the pin and cue. It is the first time I have tried eating here. It is a local hot spot for bowling, gambling and their sports bar. We came in for breakfast. The place is nice and clean and the food was good. My wife sent her potatoes back immediately as they were served cold. The waitress apologized and took them back to be reheated. To our amazement she returned with the potatoes and they were still cold. The place was busy. I rate this place as three stars as being average. I had the cinnamon roll french toast, which was very tasty but not much to it. Service was friendly. read more

The employee was a doll, games cheap (Thursday discounts), and the videos announcing scores were entertaining. We were greeted or should I say grumbled at by what I can only explain as a miserable worn out has been!?? We have been in on occasion and do like 1 of the servers in the bar but I think she only works one day and we were not sure as to what day that is but I can say it is definitely NOT Wednesdays!! It was by far the worst experience ever if we would've had time we would've walked out. The "bartender" on duty (and I say duty because she looked like she was serving a life sentence) was unable to even walk from one end of the bar to the other, she is really way too old, injured, or hung over to hold down a job! not sure which maybe all. As to the overall appearance of the bar really run down and tired looking, I guess they figure why bother putting money into the place if they can't even manage to find a server that can perform her job! We were in whitefish a few weeks a go visiting friends. We decided to stop in the pin and cue to see what it was like. Overall I would say this is a terrible place. The only good thing we could say about the place was the bartender on saturday was very nice, She was the only person there that seemed to actually like to work there. She was very nice and smiled when we asked her questions about what we should do while we were in town. The restaurant staff could learn something from her. We came in for breakfast the next day and we could hear the waitresses bad mouthing the customers. We overheard one of them talking about having to wear a helmet to deal with the customers. The bowling alley looks cool but again the workers are lacking. When we asked the kid about the prices he couldn't give a straight answer and finally just handed us a sheet with the prices on it. My advice would be better training. The day before we left town we needed to wash clothes and decided to try the laundromat. The machines worked good overall but we had some quarters jam in one of them. We were told to go to the bowling alley and they would fix it. When we said something to the guy there, He rolled his eyes and muttered something like "I hate that laundry" He had a orange tattoo on his arm. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the drug deal in the parking lot. I'm glad we didn't subject our kids to this place.We will definitely skip this place from now on. Hopefully the owners will read this and try to fix thes problems, But from the other reviews I have seen, I doubt it. read more
