Pretty weak lunch and breakfast. Tastes bland and overpriced. Is only in business b/c of monopolistic position inside The Pinnacle.

The only complaint I have is ...I don't live close by but maybe that's a good thing. I came in on a…read moreSunday mid afternoon and the parking was packed and so was the line inside.. butttt it went by so fast. They write down your order so be prepared to know what you want. Very classic retro style place. The smell the decor very nostalgic of the 90s. The menu is pretty much self explanatory and there are monthly daily specials and kids eat a full meal for no more than $5 for a sub chips drink annnd cookie. Your local fast food doesn't even come close. My sub was amazing I got the turkey/beef/ham sandwich and my husband sandwich has no complaints made to order not a long wait slices to order simplicity of ingredients. Definitely will be back and worth the wait!

Neither of the sandwiches had cheese, that I specifically added and paid additional. Upon calling to inform that neither of my sandwiches had cheese, not knowing what was the condition of the sandwiches and salads I dropped off at the dog groomers, I was met with "you can come back if you want for another sandwich". Ummmm..... try listening to the consumer. Credit them back the extra they payed that they didn't get. I even tipped $20 cash for just over $100 tab. I'm not driving 45 minutes for a sandwich that could have just been solved with a simple credit back, but sadly, this management is not capable of doing such a simple task. Very poor service and will not patron this establishment going forward. Shameful service.

My friends planned me a surprise birthday dinner here!…read more Parking: I took an uber, but they do offer valet. Looks like there was a parking garage not too far away too. Service: Service was great from the time I walked in to the time I left. The ambiance was aesthetic without being overly trendy. A very clean and nice establishment that looks modern! In fact, the manager tied the tie that went with my dress for me because I didn't know how to do it. He also ended our night with a lovely champagne toast which was the perfect touch for my birthday. Devon was also an amazing waiter. I appreciated his attention to detail and promptness throughout the whole service. Food: All of the women at the table did the prix fixe menu which was an amazing deal that they offer I believe on Fridays and Saturdays. For the 4 courses you get, it is well worth the price and honestly a great deal for a date night if you have someone you want to impress :) Everything was phenomenal. The crab cake was full of meaty crab, the lobster bisque was velvety and creamy, the ginger duck steak was cooked perfectly and though I can't remember the dessert I got, likely because I was stuffed from the other courses, I'm sure it was delicious too. The menu was plentiful with great choices and it's honestly a whole lot of food! Drinks: This is the only thing I'd say wasn't my favorite. The drink I got was just okay to me, I likely could've done without it.

I just had a great meal here. I had the mortadella sandwich. I was apprehensive because a few of…read morethe reviews mentioned a small amount of meat on the sandwich. I can tell you they were wrong. The sandwich contained a great portion of meat. You can see from my photos that it was a substantial portion of meat. The meat itself was tender as can be and was good Italian mortadella that almost melts in your mouth. It also had excellent pesto sauce on the sandwich and some of the best cheese around. I just got back from 2 months in Italy and this sandwich was as good as anything I had there. While I was there I had to try one of everything so for pastry I tried a sfogliata which is a multi layered pastry filled with a vanilla custard. This was either brought in directly from Italy or made by an Italian chef. It tasted just like it should. Then I tried the gelato. I had the stracciatella which was very good. Just two notes here though 1) the gelato temp is too cold. You need to let it warm a little before you eat it to get the full flavor 2) the pistacchio gelato served is bright green. This is not a sign of good pistacchio. Good pistacchio should be more of a khaki brownish green color Then I tried the espresso. It tasted great It was very nice inside. Simple setup looking like a gelateria. The service was friendly , fast , and efficient. The best that can be asked for. The highlight of the visit was actually running into Mr. Gio DiPalma that owns the establishment and other restaurants around town. He sat at a table and watched operations. It was nice to to see him personally checking on performance at his establishments

The Panini bread with some of the best I've had in a long time... soft, yet crispy-ish on the outside. Everything about the sandwich was fantastic with one exception: there was a slightly fishy taste on some bites. Needless to say, with the only ingredients being fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, prosciutto, and arugula, not sure where the fishy taste came from. The shop is average looking. I did not eat the gelato, but it looked very good. Service was efficient, but not overly friendly or personable. Person at the counter was more of an order taker, but there were no social greetings exchanged. The bread was so good that I would definitely go back if I had a craving for an Italian sandwich.

Experience Atlanta's best Bahn Mi!…read more Location and Parking Lee's Bakery is located in a strip mall on Buford Hwy, with plenty of free parking. Venue and Atmosphere The establishment is simple enough; order at the counter, take a number and a seat, and they will deliver the food to your table. The décor isn't fancy but it's clean. Food and Beverages If you're coming for a delicious and filling sandwich, you've come to the right place. The bread is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right ratio of meat and vegetables. Bread is made fresh in house daily, and they sell bags of day old bread as well. They also sell Vietnamese coffee and baba teas. They do NOT sell sweet tea (I found this out the hard way lol). Verdict I'll be back!

It was very crowded on a late Sunday afternoon. I ordered at the cashier and it was about a 15 minute wait for the sandwich. It was fascinating to watch the sole person making all of those banh mi's as well as the people waiting in line to be seated or pay at the cashier. Long story short- maybe because we waited to eat it, but the bread was soggy ( probaby should not package in plastic ) and the ingredients - tofu were minimal. Veggies were not pickled. Sandwich was small in size too. Too many better banh mi places to dine in my opinion. This place seems to be popular based upon its longevity and not its quality.

Inside: While the insides a little small, it's super cute, cozy, and has beautiful greenery hanging from the ceiling, giving it that tropical/garden feel. Would make for a perfect date night, but still casual enough to just stop by. They also offer patio seating out front. Service: Both times I've been, we've been seated immediately, and orders taken quickly. It wasn't very busy, since we went on a Sunday afternoon, so I'm not sure how that would compare to a Friday or Saturday night. Pricing: Four a nice meal, I think the pricing is appropriate. For entrées, you'll probably end up spending anywhere between $20-$30 per person, not including drinks. Food and drinks: The main reason that brought us back lol. I love coconut drinks and mojito's, so naturally, I tried the coconut Mojito. As mentioned, this was our second time going, and after I tried the coconut Mojito the first time, I just knew I had to come back for another round. Food wise, I got the skinny Pollo. I always appreciate a nice grilled chicken breast. It's a healthier option, but still full of flavor. Chicken was tender, and love that it's topped with grilled onions. Rice, plantains, and black beans made for delicious sides. Everything was fresh and hot. Looking forward to my next round of coconut Mojitos, and trying some of their other menu options!

Good portion size, good service, plenty of space…read more Friend and I came on a weekday night for dinner. It seemed like most of their business that evening was through delivery apps or pickup. We were seated immediately and ordered fairly quickly. I got the Lechon Asado, which came with rice, black beans, some plantains, a little salad. I think there's an option to get congri but you need to ask. Everything was delicious. The rice was quite flavorful and not simply plain white rice. The black beans were cooked well without being mushy but just slightly over salted for me. The pork was solid. I even tasted my friend's cubano and it was well done; a little heavier on the roast pork vs ham if you're curious about ratio. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for cuban food and good service. Will have to try the coffee next time.
