This is certainly a hole-in-wall OLD SCHOOL diner, but make it Greek themed. I'm telling you, so old school everything is that purple-ish mauve color with the classic bar and kitchen right behind it and all. But I'm also telling you, these are some of the best pancakes I have. ever. had. I'm one of those people who could eat breakfast food for every meal of the day, so it's extremely hard for pancakes to impress to stand out. But these were straight up scrumptious. I forced most of my party to try them and saw the reactions each time as they all agreed, they were some "damn good pancakes". And you can add m&m's into them, which was a fun addition versus chocolate chips because the m&ms had a little crunch and just wow, my mouth is watering even thinking about it again. We really enjoyed our visit here overall though- our waitress Ella was no spring chicken so she knew was she was doing, and gave us great southern hospitality. Even my gyro omelette was unique and delicious. I do think the restaurant was a bit squished. It's small, and even not being busy there wasn't a lot of room to move around once you stood up. We also ended with banana pudding, and that's never a dessert I'd choose myself but this is about as good as it comes- we saw them bring up a fresh pan of cake from the back to use for the dessert. So yummy.

White House Restaurant delivers true old-school diner vibes -- sizzling breakfast meats, fluffy golden pancakes, and that classic Southern comfort feel that makes every visit warm, familiar, and delicious. If you're on the hunt for a classic home style diner, you've found it. Not only does the White House serves up some of the best classic diner style food, but the service is also on par. My go-to is the Tennessee eggs: buttery eggs scrambled with tons of garlic and parsley with a side of hash browns. While the food is great and the service is sweet as ever, the prices are definitely reflective of Buckhead A $50 diner breakfast between two people is an occasional treat. In the meantime, I'll be at Waffle House!

Pretty good decently priced food! Would recommend if you are looking for a fast casual breakfast. Has a great old school vibe!

Classic (and historic) diner in Buckhead. I sat right at the counter and had service right away. My order came promptly. You will see people who have been up all night sittting with those who have an early morning. Great to have french toast as an option. Lived up to expectations and was delicious. Eggs and country ham were also good. Would like to have had some honey to put on my grits (not available). Breakfast is pricey but matches the cost of everything in the Buckhead area.

Worst service ever. Ordered two biscuits for pickup at 7am, waited 30 minutes just for them to say they don't accept mobile orders. Showed them the order on my phone and they said sorry. Took my 20 dollars, gave me no food, made me wait outside for 30 minutes. Terrible service

Homestyle diner feel, right out of the 70s. The service provided by a sweet elderly woman who was clear passionate about her job, warmed my heart. While the food prices reflects Buckhead ($23 OTD for their White House breakfast) Eggs - buttery Bacon - perfectly crispy Coffee - fresh Hashbrowns - crispy 9.2/10 would recommend!

A good and solid diner type situation. It's nothing flashy or nothing special, but if you want some eggs and hash browns and toast, this is your place. It's a real family-owned kind of vibe, and everybody there is so nice and friendly. I would definitely keep visiting, I think it's a basic situation but it's worth it. You know you have those spots around Atlanta that do all the fancy shrimp and grits and all that kind of stuff, this isn't that. But just solid diner food, this is the way.

Excellent!!! 2 days in a row!!!

This was amazing 2 days in a row!!!! We were in town for my husband's birthday, and this was a hit for our entire group!

It's mid. Not bad though. That staff is very attentive. The coffee is decent. The food is reasonably priced.

Classic diner vibe. Pancakes were good. Omelette was fair; I would've requested they add cheese if I had known it had none.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!
