Apparently that's a shrimp
Donne W.

Pizza is amazing, salads are great... just stay away from the fried shrimp, wait, did I say shrimp... if you can find the sliver of what might be shrimp, it is not the shrimp that's in the picture on their website... it's a quarter of a tiny tiny salad shrimp... i know it's a pizza place, but don't sell fried shrimp then if ya can't do it right!!!! I was so looking forward to them!!! Sad sad sad.... The two stars are not for the pizza!!! The pizza is 6 stars all day long... stay in your lane if ya can't do it right

Large Soupy Pizza w/Pepperoni

Service was good, everyone was very nice. I walked to pick-up with my kids in a stroller, and was disappointed to see that The Pizza Lady is not accessible. There is a ramp, but there are still two large steps at the top and this was nearly impossible for me to navigate with a stroller, heavy door, and a pizza. It was my choice to bring a stroller, but not everyone has the choice to leave behind their wheelchair, and I hope the Pizza Lady will take steps to make their pizza available to all. The pizza itself was good, although too greasy for my taste.

Best pizza in the area. Make sure to CALL your order in, phone orders are cheaper than online services.

Get the Soupy and Ricotta pizza. Unless you're watching your weight, because you will want to eat the whole thing. You've got to try it!

I actually expected it to be really busy when we got there around 10:45, but there were quite a few open tables. They sat us in a queue table right in the window near the water. I couldn't decide what to get because everything looks so good. I ended up with the Patatas Brava which had soupy in it. I haven't had soup in years and they made it really stand out with the home fries, eggs, and crema. My wife had the basic breakfast, and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered an apple crêpe for the table that had caramel and toasted almonds on it. The staff was also great. We had one waitress, but a second one was always there to check on us. The service gets five stars for sure! I wish we had a place like this near our house. It's right on the line of Westerly Rhode Island so we were able to walk around downtown Westerly which was really nice.

I dined on Seacoast Mushroom Toast, Crunchy Fish Sando (best ever), Burnt Orange Brulee (my favorite dessert in any flavor). Cheers to Johnson & Wales, Culinary program:) The chef is prepared to impress.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe hits just right. Warm lighting, a modern coastal feel, and a staff that treats you like a regular even on your first visit. It's the perfect after‑work escape or pre‑dinner stop, and the energy stays upbeat without ever feeling rushed. The happy hour menu is where River Bar really flexes. Thoughtful, well‑priced, and packed with flavor, it's clear they take just as much pride in these offerings as the main menu. The small plates come out fast, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious--exactly what you want when you're settling in with a drink and good company. Everything feels elevated but still approachable, the kind of food that makes you say "let's order one more" even when you know you're full. The drink specials are equally impressive. Creative cocktails, balanced pours, and bartenders who know how to craft something refreshing without overcomplicating it. Whether you're in the mood for something bright and citrusy or a smooth spirit‑forward sipper, they've got you covered. And of course--Nanas deserts.....If you know, you know. It's the kind of standout that becomes part of the ritual, the thing you tell friends they have to try when you bring them for the first time. Between the quality of the food, the unbeatable happy hour value, and the polished yet relaxed atmosphere, The River Bar has firmly earned its place as one of Westerly's best. A flawless five stars and an easy recommendation for anyone who loves great drinks, great bites, and a place that gets the details right. Cheers

We are a very inexperienced group of bowlers and they kindly put us on the farthest lane. The food server promptly took our food order and checked up on us a few times. The other family (from out of town) really liked the food and especially the pricing (considering we were thinking about Foxwoods's High Roller bowling lounge. A similar package was $300) We ordered (3 at $4 each) hot Suppi stuffies, and order of (4) breadsticks with beer cheese (amazing), a Mac and cheese (topped with crispy bacon and toasted breadcrumbs) with (4) wings combo, and a pepperoni pizza (in addition to the cheese pizza in our package). For the 6 of us (2 of them being children) we still took home some left overs. Like I said - we're inexperienced bowlers and it took us 2 hours to play 2 games of bowling on 1 lane for the 6 of us. Our 2 hours fell right on our 10th frame of the second game and they were nice enough to add 10 minutes to our game. Make sure to tip the staff and servers. They were super helpful and friendly. We will be back soon!

From the moment you step inside, it is a full-on kaleidoscope of color & decor. Everywhere you look, there is something bold, quirky & fun! And the food? Just as creative as the space. We went as part of RI Food Fights #BestBreakfastSandwich & Ozzo absolutely delivered. I selected the Breakfast of Champions - scrambled eggs, seasoned pulled pork, onions & queso fresco on an English muffin. Hubby went with the Pepper Jack Ham - scrambled eggs, diced ham, onion & pepper jack cheese on an English muffin. Both were hearty & delicious! You can't go to Ozzo & not order the churros. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside & the spicy cinnamon sugar was yummi. The drinks deserve a spotlight of their own. They have Mexican Coke & a bunch of different flavors of Jarritos flavors which they use to make dirty sodas. I tried "The Over Thinker" - a Dr. Pepper creation taken to a whole new level with strawberry drizzle inside the cup, vanilla bean cold foam on top &, because Ozzo is proudly extra, finished with sprinkles, edible gold & freeze-dried strawberries. It is truly over-the-top & honestly as pretty as it was delicious. Ozzo doesn't just serve food - it serves vibes! Bright, welcoming, whimsical & completely memorable. The one disappointing thing though was when I asked about if an order of 3 churros was enough for two people. The girl said they were small--about six inches or less each. So we ordered 6. Would absolutely use them again and would recommend to anyone renting in the area looking to do something a little different for their group.

The GPS led us to a parking lot, with a good number of spots and Nana's was 20 steps away. They do have a patio with a few tables but because it was raining, we went straight inside. When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.
