Great place for good food. They feed you well and the staff is super nice. Sometimes there can be a wait, but the bar is open sitting.

We went back on a Sunday afternoon at the "NEW" & bigger place. We got a quote of 30 mins for a table. Since there was 2 of us, we decided to sit at the counter for no wait. Our server greeted us quickly and took our drink order. Our drinks came and he took off quickly. He came back 5 mins later and took our food order. We both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak served with hash browns, eggs, and instead of toast I got french toast. The chicken fried steak was good, the country gravy was spot on. The hash browns and eggs were good too. The french toast was meh... I should have gotten the pancakes. The server came back to give our check. He did not come back to see if things were ok. They service seems to be more dis-engaged this time around. read more

For those that don't know, Mike and Ronda's "The Place" is definitely a hotspot on Bell Road. They don't do dinner, but they do breakfast, lunch and brunch. I have been here a few times and have seen massive sized breakfasts that clearly are out of my league! But they do have a large clientele and on the weekends you will see a line waiting outside to get in for their delicious food! Their loaded oatmeal is one of my favorites and I highly recommend it as it comes with walnuts, blueberries, raisins, and brown sugar. Simply wonderful and tasty. read more

I was at The Place on 12/9/22 to meet my friend for lunch. I hadn't seen her for about one year and we were looking to have a nice, leisurely lunch so we could catch up. That is exactly what our server Holly let us do. Holly was attentive and let us relax. I had a mushroom burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. My friend had, I believe a burger melt or something on rye bread with fries. She was very satisfied also. Thanks for a good meal and the ability for us to visit. Breakfast is the Best This was the first time I visited "Mike & Ronda's The Place" based on the reviews of fellow "Yelpers". From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a friendly staff member and you can't help but notice the cleanliness of the restaurant. On this visit we had the buttermilk pancakes, eggs, toast, hashbrown and bacon All I have to say is, these pancakes were not only delicious but made perfectly, soft and fluffy on the insdide and golden brown on the outside, perfect! and the bacon was thick, but not too thick; crispy but not too crispy; once again, perfect, tasty and delicious and the portions are huge. They even offered me an iced tea to-go after we paid the bill. This is exactly what I am looking for in a breakfast spot. I look forward to revisiting "Mike & Ronda's The Place" again and try other delicious items offered on their menu. read more

Fish! All you can eat for $10.50! I had to waddle outta there because the fish was so crispy fried yet not dry or oily that I just couldn't help myself. Plus, they had some interesting tap beers which I didn't expect at a breakfast/brunchy sorta place. Our server Jimmy was so attentive and helpful (since it was our first time we had lots of questions) and amazingly was able to keep up with the refills on the fish. We are a group of retired ladies who dine at The Place the second Monday of every month. Sometimes there are only 8 or so, other times, we number in the high teens. Regardless or how many of us finally show up, we are always greeted with a friendly smile and a "if you need anything else, just let me know". The food is always prepared the same -- great! A couple of us always order the open face hot turkey sandwich with extra gravy and our request is always honored. From the front desk to the wait staff, it is an enjoyable experience. read more

All three of us had hamburgers, my wife, daughter, and me. They were charbroiled. They were thick and juicy. Bun was fresh. Veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion) were fresh. My sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside soft on the inside. I had the avocado burger with cheese. Just the right amount of avocado. I hate those avocado burgers when the avocado just slobbers all over your hand. As much as I like avocado, I like it to stay on my burger. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Excellent service. Hometown feel. Nice restaurant. We just live very far away, about an hours drive. Otherwise I'd stop in here quite regularly. They have a nice bar, too. read more

Delicious brunch! We ordered the polish sausage scramble and a build your own omelet and both were super tasty. Spicy Bloody Mary's and mimosas were both on point. Next time I'm trying the mimosa flight! Very much appreciated the precautions they had in place for COVID, including distanced seating at the bar, al staff in masks, and mandatory masks for customers when walking around. The perks was a clean bathroom with really hot water and toilet seat covers. I thought it was cute that they had coats hangers by the booths so you can hang your coat or purse. They have a full bar. Driven by the Place so many times and frequently seen so many people waiting to be seated. When you see that you kind of assume it will be really good or their short staffed. I'll say our waitress was great and my beer was cold other than that it's not that great. I should've gone to a Dennys or IHOP. The food was bland with no flavor and the pancakes tasted raw. Was in the area for a short hike. Stopped over for breakfast, thanks to Yelp reviews. We waited 10 mins for our table. The place is big and noisy. However, our server Dave took really good care of us. The food came out quick and fresh. We ordered the Polish and Chorizo Skillet and a side of pancake and biscuits. Satisfied with my choice, the sausages were soft, potatoes fired perfectly and seasoned well. Best was th maple syrup for me. Lastly, the place was clean. Will be back again!!! read more

We are what you would call a loyal customer for breakfast here. Have always had good service here and maybe once a issue with the wrong food on our order. Today I was blown away from the subpar service and food that I could not eat. I was totally shocked when there was not a discount on the bill and or a manager to come to our table for a visit. I go here every year for Mother's Day (hey that is how the family rolls) we get there at 7am, as soon as it opens so we can get a big table. The food is great. I built my own omelette - bacon, American, avocado, sour cream, and tomatoes... with potato bites and a pancake. Whatever you do you have to get the potato bites as they are probably some of the best I've had. Crunchy yet soft and plenty of flavor. Omelette as I ordered it was delicious. Pretty big too. Two big pancakes and those were good albeit nothing to win awards with. Never seen anyone complain about any of the food. Service is pretty good despite always having a large party. The food is always good, the coffee keeps on coming with stops from several servers. Very accommodating on ordering. 4-30-2022 I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE BUT IT'S TAKEN A BAD TURN. This breakfast definitely ruined the start of my son's 21st birthday. After being seated for almost 20 minutes we were finally asked what we would like to drink. We received our drinks and asked if we could start off with their biscuits and gravy, ordered another lemonade and placed our breakfast meals as well. Biscuits/gravy finally came SO DISSAPOINTING biscuits were hard as heck and were served to us at the same time that the party of 6 that had been seated after our party of 3 were already being served their food. We were then approached by a waitress that stated that the computer crashed and they needed to put our order back in. Then waitress #2 came over and apologized she stated that our waitress had a panic attack and left. Waitress #3 came over and brought us our check and said that our original waitress couldn't be found but was somewhere around the facility . So very politely even though at this point I had had it, I asked what the receipt was for, she said your meals ma'am I said ma'am we haven't even been served yet. She apologized and brought us 3 meals that weren't even made correctly and 1 of the meals was a meal that I didn't even order. All of our pancakes were cold and we used to love their pancakes, toast was over cooked and so hard. AFTER EVERYTHING THAT ALREADY HAPPENED, MY HUSBAND AND SON TAKE A BITE OF THEIR FOOD AND IT WAS AWFUL, THERE WAS NO FLAVOR TO ANYTHING, THEY BROUGHT ME MY FOOD AND NOTHING WAS DIFFERENT, STILL NO FLAVOR. OH AND I STILL NEVER RECEIVED MY DARN LEMONADE. WORST $80.00 EVER spent for breakfast.
