I called no answer and no mention on the message your closed, website, YELP and other methods stated your open 6-3 except Tuesdays. Service is great as the staff all help each other and their tables with you the customer in mind. Great unity among the staff. Wow, we were meeting some friends for breakfast and needed a place between Litchfield Park and Scottsdale. We found it! This is one of those familiar diners that people regularly stand outside of visiting and waiting their turn for a hearty breakfast and lunch! But, it was really nice to see that we could use our phone to place our name on the waiting list where we didn't have to wait outside on such a chilly day. Also it was a great convenience for our elderly friend. The place is spacious and the staff really got people in and out. Out sever was attentive and the menu had something for the differing tastes of all four of us. My favorite is usually a chicken fried steak breakfast, but too often, with eggs, hash browns and bread, it's just too much. The Place had the perfect solution. It was called a Chicken Fried Steak Skillet! The chicken fried steak was cubed and it was topped with grilled onions, country gravy and an egg over easy. It was the perfect portion and oh so satisfying. What else could you ask for. I say yes to the place! read more

Went with a party of 18 last weekend. We were seated timely but it took forever for drinks, our orders to be taken and the food to be served. I had to rem the waitress 3 times we were ready to order! when the food finally came 2 orders were missing due to not being made. One waitress should have working just our table due to the number In our party. But she had multiple tables assigned to her besides ours. Then when does a waitress not have change for a $20 when she brought one patron his change. I am not sure we will be back there untill they can service large parties better. read more

The Place is the one Restaurant that me and my husband go to every other weekend, this morning I had one of my favorite servers, his name is Ryan, he always makes us laugh and he is always a great conversation. Generous portion of better than decent food. Chorizo and eggs were quite good, chorizo was just charred a bit too much. Hash was good, and the biscuit and gravy was just alright. Beer tasted flat. The portions are big, quality of ingredients are good. The seasoning/flavoring is lacking. Alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced with decent ingredients as well. It is the louder side as there is no sound dampening done. I recommend getting one of their biscuits. They are huge so you can easily share. You can join the waitlist ahead of time and recommend that as if it can be a long wait time. read more

If you are really hungry for breakfast, The Place is for you! Not only are the portions large but the biscuits themselves are a stand a lone feast! They don't skimp on giving you the gravy to dip in or pour over. The optionality of the menu is really broad and the servers aren't hesitant or huffy about making swaps or giving you the different combos of sides. If you are intimidated by the big plates and want to split, they do charge a small split plate fee. My friends ordered the mimosa flight and it was generous as well. The glasses had more than just "a tasting" which is often what you get at the brunch spots. These had some very decent volume and a good variety of flavors. If you are a party of one or two, give the "worst table" a try for a discount on your check. Why is it the worst? It's right next to the hallway to the bathroom and directly in front of the fire exit. It's their fun way of recognizing they can't all be the best table in the house. On the weekends especially, the wait can be pretty significant and if you're a small group, why not get in while everyone else is scorching in the heat waiting to be sat? Have driven by this place many times and it has always had a good crowd of cars in the parking lot. Decided to stop in today to give it a try and it was really good. It has an old cabin style feel inside. There are plenty for staff to help and make sure things move along at a good pace. The food came out fast and the service was good. We had the hungry man breakfast with pancakes and the club sandwich but started with the cowboy bean soup with bacon. The portions were large and everything had good taste. Only ONE recommendation. But first --- this place is AmAzInG! I've been to all their locations from Flagstaff to now Glendale and love all of them ! Their Biscuits and Gravy have been unbeatable and are truly amazing ! But my ONE recommendation is please start using a delivery option like DoorDash, UberEats or GrubHub. I've been sick and haven't been able to drive and literally would pay any delivery fee to get my faves !! Same with my other The Place fans over the valley ! Looking for a local diner style of breakfast, go give The Place a try! Met up with some friends on a Sunday morning, had a little of a wait, but it wasn't too bad, after 15 minutes we were seated. Also on Yelp app you can join the waitlist. After checking out the menu I knew I wanted to try the griddle breakfast, it comes with 2 eggs, a choice of meat and either a pancake, French toast or waffle. Been passing by this place quite often and told the bf that we should try it soon since it's so close to the house and on Yelp it has so many great reviews. We love to go get breakfast/brunch on family day and try new places. Today is Mother's Day and we knew it'd be crazy everywhere so decided to order take out from here to avoid the craziness. Our order Classic eggs Benedict -The eggs were even poach properly it was more over medium and solid. Super crucial to a good eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was thick and slightly broken because it was smooth and silky as it should be. Steak and eggs - I asked for medium rare and it was medium well/well done. With sunny side up eggs which were fine. For my side I also asked for diced potatoes and biscuit and gravy. Breakfast burrito - seems like this was the only one that was good. It was my moms and she said it was decent. Not the best but also not the worst. We got dice potatoes for all of our dishes and it wasn't the best either nor the worst. Most of the food was definitely on the saltier side. I want to say that maybe it was busy and that's why but just because a place is busy doesn't mean that their food quality control shouldn't be there.
