Lemon pepper Parmesan wings
Cassie B.

being a Mississippi, and I didn't think I could find a place good enough to meet my taste buds however, from the moment we stepped into the playground, we were developed by a atmosphere. The attentive staff immediately made us feel like valued, and Miles guiding us through the expertly curated menu with genuine enthusiasm. The wings were a the perfectly cooked protein,, and complex sauce combine to create a symphony of flavors on the palate. Every fight was a delight, and the presentation was artfully done. The spicy margarita pairing suggested by Terrence was spot-on, enhancing the overall dining experience. We left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return for another exceptional meal before we head back south next time we are in California best believe this will be the only place we go to to fill our tummies also my husband had the Beria and oh my God how delicious!

The food is great and the people are cool. I'm happy to have them here as new work neighbors and I'm sure I'll be coming back a lot.

Ordered a salad and 3 entrees between 4 of us. Small portions but surprisingly the perfect amount is food! 5/5 Mingo mango margarita was a small cup but perfectly mixed and flavorful with delicious hints of mango 5/5 Italian chopped - the salad was simple but delicious, loved the sliced salame. 5/5 Cacio e pepe - this was the star for me! Like an al dente truffle garlic butter pasta. I'd come back for this alone! 3.5/5 Campanelle sausage - friends loved it, added some salt and chili flakes but the cacio e pepe was the standout for me. 5/5 Short rib - small portion but the meat was fall apart tender. Generous on the mash potatoes underneath. The inside is super cute, gets pretty busy but the vibes are there. We'll be back, heard they have a good brunch to check out!

They have daybeds that look really fun for a relaxed afternoon, and we'd definitely come back to experience it at a different time of day. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the calamari, truffle mushroom pizza, and Stallone pizza, all were pretty good. The drinks were excellent; I had the Naked & Famous cocktail, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it's a place we'd return to for drinks and a relaxed vibe.

The bartenders were attentive but not overbearing even though we were in within an hour of closing but needed a bite after a long travel day to the hotel. As I understand it, Moray's is the outside/patio dining portion, while Oceana is the indoor fine-dining situation. I believe they pretty much have very similar menus, with Oceana having some additional high-end offerings. Came out to Moray's to visit my cousin who was in town for work. Since my cousin now has her most adorable infant, she wanted to keep it simple and dine at the hotel restaurant, which was fine by me. While I waited for them to come down from their room, I got us a patio table and ordered a delicious $10 draft. Mixed drinks were all hovering around $19 each. The server was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which I greatly appreciated. I went with the reasonably priced Steak Frites, $36, which was to stated to come with Muenster cheese and caramelized onions on top, and served with a side chimichurri. While the steak was wonderfully cooked to a solid med. rare as requested, it seemingly had very little flavor. Perhaps had it not been covered with a wealth of some DEEPLY caramelized onions and an abundance of Muenster cheese, I might have been able to taste the seasonings and/or the beef. While I love some deeply caramelized onions on a salt-laden burger, the extent to which these were caramelized left them seeming soggy and too sweet for the steak pairing. Add in the several slices of melted Muenster cheese on top, and flavourwise I could hardly tell I was eating a steak. Ultimately, the abundance of toppings overwhelmed the steak. The accompanying chimichurri was also a little strange. While I appreciate that it was diced and not blended, it was very heavy on the oil, while very light on the herbs. The frites were nicely salted and good on their own, however a decent amount became soggy from being under the steak. The burger on the other hand looked excellent. My cousin devoured his in what seemed like a split second. I could have went for the burger, however at $27 I perceived the $36 steak frites to be of a better value. Again, shout out to our server. They were on-point! Thanks Moray's!

Service was solid, and it definitely feels like a "special occasion" kind of spot. The Wagyu burger, though, was a letdown. Amazing fries, but the burger itself was surprisingly bland--even with grilled onions and cheese. For $26-$28, the "Wagyu" label felt more like marketing than magic. I've honestly had more flavorful burgers at In-N-Out (animal style), which isn't a great look for a high-end burger. On the bright side, my wife's risotto was excellent--easy 10/10. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the risotto was rich and flavorful, and even the waitress said it's one of her favorite dishes (advice I should've taken). Bottom line: great atmosphere, good service, one standout dish--but skip the burger. I wouldn't go out of my way to return unless someone else was choosing. Street parking only, mostly free if you're lucky.

The music might have been 200 db. The only way I could communicate with my wife was to literally scream at her, and that was only half successful. The service was terrible. The waitress finally came to our table after maybe 15 minutes. She started talking to us then stopped mid sentence, and went to another table. Didn't see whet again for another 15 minutes. Finally she came back and asked, can I help you. I responded, can we get some drinks please. Anyway we ordered our drinks. The drinks arrived after the appetizer. She said the bartender was pretty slammed, but when we looked over, they seemed to be just talking to each other. Anyway the food arrived. We had to call her back because we had no utensils. That took another ten minutes. We had muscles, but nothing to put the shells in, so I just piled them on the table which then of course started this pool of sauce around them, and the table got quite messy. All in all, having the music so loud quite frankly I think I might have hearing loss, and the service being so terrible I couldn't wait to get out of there. Our bill was $200. Perhaps I expect too much???
