Came around 7 PM to catch the sunset, and it did not disappoint. The patio was completely full, with everyone enjoying drinks and watching the view. Great energy. If you want something quieter, you can head inside. There's a bar area and a more tucked away section in the back with sports on. It was pretty empty and a nice change of pace. Service was awesome. Overall, really fun vibe and a solid spot whether you're going for the views or just a relaxed night. Definitely one I'd come back to. read more

Very chill restaurant where you order at the counter, order your food and pick your seat. Liked how most entrees came with a side. Got one of the burritos with ranchero sauce on the side and fresh fruit and also got the scramble with fruit too. The ranchero sauce and salsa were good and the portions of both entrees were very good as well. The burrito fillings couldve been seasoned better, but it was packed with eggs, carne asada, and a little bit of beans. I haven't lived in SoCal for a while butwhenever I come down to visit, like 3x a year, we head on over to Lahaina - typically a line but it moves well - security to get in is reasonable - I don't need to be carded (58) but was once - thank you very much - I'm the older side of the crown with my husband but theres no shade from the younger people- they are always starting a conversation with you or giving you a seat when they leave - you feel like you're at a backyard party - the drinks are stiff and fairly priced (Im in NorCal) and also the food isn't bad - the fish tacos were pretty good, and also the rolled tacos. i normally don't like to leave negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the rudest bartender interactions i've ever had. my friends and i were celebrating my best friend's 23rd birthday, and we paid actual money on touchtunes to play "23" by miley cyrus for her. while we were recording ourselves dancing, the bartender fully reached over to our side of the bar and intentionally side-swiped all three of our phones. this was not an accident. he had to physically reach over to hit them, and after doing it, he just stood there and death-glared at us. to make it even more frustrating, it was around 6:00 p.m. on a tuesday, and the bar was practically empty. anyone who's been to lahaina knows it can get absolutely packed, but this was the complete opposite. we weren't blocking anyone, bothering other customers, or causing any issues. we were simply dancing and celebrating our friend's birthday. the whole interaction made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we left immediately afterward. we were met with unnecessary hostility for no reason, and it completely killed the vibe. here's the tiktok i posted with the video proof of the interaction lol: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTBo8VrGx/ after reading other yelp reviews and receiving comments on my tiktok from people sharing similar experiences, it unfortunately seems like this isn't an isolated incident. i genuinely hope management addresses how customers are treated because no one should feel unwelcome for simply celebrating with their friends. i understand that working in a busy bar can be stressful and dealing with intoxicated patrons isn't always easy, but if this is how three respectful girls celebrating a birthday are treated on a slow tuesday evening when the bar was nearly empty, that's concerning. people come to pacific beach to celebrate, have fun, and enjoy the atmosphere, and that's exactly what we were doing. a little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way. read more

Terrible experience with the security last Saturday afternoon. I was with my friends getting drinks at Lehani for a birthday. I stepped out with my drink to make sure my friend got into her uber safely. I tried to go back in, but security aggressively took my drink (pretty full) without my permission, poured it out, and yelled, "Bye! Have a good night! Have a good night! Bye!" They never explained why I couldn't re-enter or why my drink was taken. Even without a drink, the security just kept yelling, "Bye! Have a good night!" and wouldn't let me speak. My friends were still inside and they would not let me go to them. I wasn't drunk, or disorderly. I wanted a logical explanation of why I couldn't go in and was not given one. The lack of communication and outright rudeness were incredibly upsetting and unfair. No one should be treated like that. I'm so disappointed in both the security and bar. read more

Drove from out of town and arrived in mission beach around 9:30 which was an hour and a half before our brunch reservation. Unsure of where to go for the time we started walking and came across Lahaina Beach house which my friend said we should check out. The view from their patio is so beautiful and they have seating inside and outside which is great! It wasn't busy due to it being so early but we sat at the bar and had a drink while the bartender recommended places we should go and see which helped us a lot! The drinks were great, the service was wonderful, and the view even better. We came back our second day in san diego, it was around 2 pm on Saturday and the vibe was completely different in a good way. There were so many people it was definitely a busy place to be. I left my iPhone by mistake in the woman's bathroom at closing time (literally when they where closing the door to the place) . I came back 10 minutes latter but there was no-wane there. I called and left a message with my information and no answer. I did find my IPhone and it was there in the bathroom. Then around 7 am it was in the cleaning room shed. I called again when they opened and they told me they did not see any iPhone. Then i went personally to the place and the assistant manager told me he heard my message but did not reply cause he did not see the phone. He explained to me how the subcontracted cleaning crew comes every night from 4 am to 7 am and said he called them and they did not see it either. I told him how it was last seen in the cleaning shed by find my iphone. He said he was busy but he opened the shed and left me alone there to look for it. Of course by then it was not there. He told me he could give me the cleaning people's number so i could offer them 50-100 dollars to see if i could get it back. I said that i refuse to do that cause that would encourage them to continue robbing. He said there was nothing else he could do that the Manager will contact me. The manager never contacted me! So i blocked the phone and i had to get a new one. I felt mistreated and i was robbed at LaHaina, so i do not recommend for anyone to go to an unsafe place with terrible customer service and no empathy for their customers. read more
