Gaelic Mac and Cheese

Was visiting the area so I thought id bring the fam to try our local watering hole. Everything here is pretty delicious including all the drinks from the tap or bar. Service was quick and our waiter was super attentive. The price point was perfect whether you're here for lunch, brunch or a meal any time of the day. The venue has plenty of food options from starters to a filling meal. Try the bread pudding... it's sooooo good. I love the cozy feel of this venue. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating option. I prefer sitting indoor because I am mesmerized by the bar area. When you're in the area... stop by here. They have menu specials for everyone. I highly recommend the fish and chips.

Amazing drink

Perfect location Plenty of parking And great outside and inside seating. Great collection of whiskey And great drink selections. The pretzels are amazing, the cheese dip perfect. The burger I had had avocado and bacon soooooo good. We also tried the turkey sandwich which was perfect. Definitely be ordering this on weekends. Cool spot. With great servers.

Fish and chips and the menu

Fun and tasty dining experience after a show nearby. The ambiance is why I chose it but the size of the portions were plentiful - could have split a meal!

Great service from Israel on St. paddy's day 2025! Very friendly and professional. Very prompt. The food was great. More so, the spicy cheese curds! I usually don't eat those but man they were great and spicy. The boneless wings aren't so bad.

Food was delicious, definitely try the scotch eggs. Drinks were great. Service was decent.

SO many whiskeys. (The photo doesn't even show all of them.)

A very fun, very Irish pub plopped in the middle of the ultra-modern, sleek Dallas Arts District. The most extensive selection of whiskeys (Irish and beyond) I've ever seen. A great place to grab a drink before or after a show.

Lovely bar with a fantastic selection.

I loved this experience! What a cute pub! The ambiance is warm and inviting with a touch of elegance. I applaud the originality in this space. Clearly, every detail has the appropriate attention. Clean, indoor and outdoor seating options- shaded or in the sun. If only I lived in Dallas THIS would be my spot! The staff was extremely friendly and the menu options are endless. Can't wait to return, I want to try more! Wonderful experience.

Very nice decor in the pub and the wait staff was nice as well. Music was super loud and Guinness wasn't great.

Nice Irish pub tucked away in Dallas. Would prefer for fish to be less oily. I would go back.

The vibe is definitely English pub, but the expansive outdoor patio makes you feel like you're still in Texas. We stayed for a quite a while to watch several of the World Cup games. I had fish and chips and ordered a beer. The fish and chips were amazing: the fish particularly was fried and seasoned so well. I could've easily eaten another portion. I truly did not expect it to be as good as it was, especially as most of my fish and chip experiences in the US have left me wanting more. This was perfect! Service was surprisingly fast despite how busy the bar was. We had no issues finding seating outside and then moved indoors once space cleared out. Our server was super accommodating and even hooked us up with a table near the larger TV once that party cleared out. Another bonus is that this location has a huge, free parking garage, so super convenient if you don't want to take the DART.

The star was the house-made tomato soup -- savory, sweet, and so flavorful!! The fries were great too and their ranch is delicious! For dessert, we enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding! A bit different than the ones I've had before, but I still liked it. The only miss was my virgin margarita. It was wayyyy too sour and salty. Would skip!

This review is long overdue but hey as long as I get it done…read more We were luckily referred to Harwood Arms by the front desk of our hotel at check-in, which was conveniently within walking distance (~10 mins) and has a kitchen that's open late which was nice after a day of travel, later check-in and being hungry. It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

Not great. Visited…read moreHarwood Arms for one of the FIFA game watch parties and yeah, don't bother. I don't think Harwood Arms was prepared for how many people were going to show up- it seemed completely disorganized, chaotic, and just ridiculous. We were sitting down at one of the tables outside in the alley area and the walkway was clear- at first. After the game had actually started, I guess they just let everyone in and the entire walkway was PACKED with people to the point that our once clear view of the TV, was gone in an instant. As the night progressed, obviously a girl has to pee, so as I was walking into the actual restaurant/ pub to use the bathroom and I guess the "bouncer" stuck his arm between me and the door and dismissively said I couldn't go in. Excuse me? After telling him I literally have a table outside, he yanks at his collar and speaks into his little walkie talkie asking if there's a table of 4 outside under my name. Sorry, I didn't know I was watching the Mexico game at the freakin White House surrounded by Secret Agents. Give me a break. So when he magically confirms I have a table (because I do), he lifts up his arm and gives me the ALL CLEAR! It's actually funny looking back at it. But give me a break. When going back outside to sit at my table, the same bouncer/ Secret Agent/ FBI dude gives attitude to my boyfriend and myself for the commotion caused earlier. The actual police officer next to him told us it's ok and to just have a good time. The only nice thing someone said to us and he doesn't even work at Harwood Arms lol. To management, if you do not want people "off the street" to go in and out of your pub or inside to use your bathrooms, then I don't know- maybe come up with a wristband method so your paying customers can smoothly go in and out to use your bathrooms? Just a thought. OR just don't be unwelcoming to people that are actively spending money at your pub. Harwood Arms was NOT prepared at all for the high velocity of people coming in to watch the FIFA games. Quite frankly, it was a MESS. I did visit Bar W a few days after that and had a MUCH BETTER experience-- go there instead.
