Such a fun place! I needed to get out and do something and was searching for a restaurant with a spacious patio, this was it! It was not too busy, we had plenty of space. I loved how it was decorated for the holidays! My fiancé and I shared the appetizer platter, with the wings on a separate plate since I am a vegetarian. It came with fried pickles, chips, guacamole, salsa, queso, and mozzarella sticks. So much fried goodness! Everything was absolutely delicious! Our favorite was the queso, we ate every last bit of it. Had food left over at the end too! My fiancé also got a beer and I had a cider. This is a totally meatlocker scene and I love it. Great place to catch up with some friends and they have outdoor seating with misting so you can dodge the RONA... Some nice good looking specimens have come thru here and they play some decent old school hip hop on the Sat night I went... I think there are games here too but haven't tried any of them. Respectfully one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. As a server, it sucks to see zero sense of urgency out of any of the staff. it's a slow Wednesday night and our drinks took over 15 minutes to come out. Tables stayed unbussed for the duration of our visit. Everyone's food was just okay. 1 out of 6 entrees took 15 extra minutes after we all got our food. Great place for brunch and friendly service! We reserved a table for 13 and they gave us two servers which was awesome! The mulemosa is a must! They have champagne bottles for only $12 during brunch! Great open space inside and out and well lit. They have valet parking as well. We had the chicken "waffles" and OMG! They are chicken wings and the batter is waffle batter. They then serve a side of syrup that is a bit spicy. Perfect combination of sweet and salty. We also had the green chili chilaquiles. I prefer mine a bit more crunch this to me was more of a casserole however don't take away the fact that flavor was all there and also a great dish! We will be back for sure! read more

SO BOMB!! Tried the porch for the first time this week and I was impressed. I ordered the forbidden rice bowl with added chicken and it was fantastic. The presentation was so cute. You know that feeling after you've been to a loud concert where there's pressure on your ear drum and your ears ring? That's what happened last night. I complained, asked for lower volume or a quieter place. The response was "The games are on tonight." Well, here's why that's a load of crap: The TVs were loud to drown out the road noise from Indian School. The music was up so loud it drowned out the road noise, the TVs, conversations from people, and the wait staff trying to take our order. Seriously, they were yelling and still couldn't understand us without repeating. I am CERTAIN the noise decibel levels were stupidly high. Frankly, saving my hearing is reason enough to never go back here. But, frankly, from an employee standpoint, OSHA should require hearing protection there. Call in for takeout, because the food is good. But don't go there if you want to keep your hearing past 50. Hubby had the AZ Burger with onion rings, and I had the 2 tacos and buffalo chicken wings, and our appetizer was The Porch (jalapeno) poppers. All of the food was very good. The tacos here are some of the best tacos I have had in Arizona since we came here 7 years ago- Who knew?! We absolutely enjoyed their version of jalapeno poppers. I had one drink [hubby was driving] and it was the Unicorn Kiss. It was a good drink, not too much alcohol and very cute. Affordable and fun- definitely the kind of place we can come to regularly. The only issue we had was that the jalapeno poppers were brought out after our entrees, and we had to ask about them. This is an update to my last review after visiting The Porch initially when they first opened. After returning they have definitely improved their service and the food. I ordered the same thing as I did on my initial visit. Can you guess it?!? Wings! Wings! Wings! This time around they were good well (last time they were cold and over cooked). I think the kitchen has finally figured it out so I'm happy I returned. It's a fun place to visit, they have a patio and indoor setting with a pretty nice TV set up to watch the games. Based on my most recent visit I would now recommend this place. They've stepped their game up. My disclaimer: The first time I visited I was with a pretty big group. This last time I was with a smaller group and was at the bar. After my last experience, we decided to come back and try again without our dogs. I've really been wanting to try this place. This time it's a Friday night - 15-18 open tables, bar top is full. I ask the hostess if we can be seated in a booth. She says "we are REALLY busy right now and those are reserved for parties of 4 or more". Ok, no biggie (even though the party of two gents in front of us just got sat in a booth). The girl walks us through the entire restaurant, all the way around the bar and almost back to the entrance. She stops and says "the 2 top table I was going to sit you at is reserved. Unfortunately, you'll have to sit outside." It's 110 degrees outside, I don't really want to sit outside is what I said to the hostess. She says, well you can sit at the bar (which has zero open seats) or we won't be able to seat you. She walks off and leaves us standing in the middle of the restaurant (with 15-18 open tables that we walked past trailing through the whole restaurant. So, we decided AGAIN, to go somewhere else, tipped the valet and left. TERRIBLE. read more

They have a mandatory valet which is good and bad because tipping is a must (in my opinion) The vibes inside and over all reminded me of an Applebee's. The food it's self was a bit pricey but in the area it's in it's to be expected. I wouldn't recommend taking your family there just because it's a bit loud - definitely recommend taking friends for some drinks and food. Not A++ food but good bar food.
