UPDATE 6/17/19: We visited again on Monday and stayed for 3 hrs! My husband got the French dip burger which I liked more than him because I like the horseradish kick, and I shares the chicken panini with my kiddo. I liked all of the ingredients, but took off the arugula for her and she ate her half of the sandwich. The fries are good. I love the craft cider on draught and my hubs likes the selection of IPA. No salt complaints this time. We stayed so long so I could kick the hubs butt on the basketball shootout game ( he beat me) though I won my fair share of Pong. Thank you for the offer, Lauren! This is a great Pub / Sports Bar / Hangout place with lively music. Food is good - highly recommend the Tacos Short ribs with the Truffle Fries. Hamburgers are great too. Stay away from the Jalapeño Poppers (they don't grill the jalapeños and they use cheap liquid cheese). parking lot is small (good luck). Overall very lively with great drink menu. Definitely a great, fun place to visit . We went on a Saturday for some brunch drinks and it did not disappoint at all. The drink menu is so cool with many fun flavorful options with a great presentation. We didnt have any food which looked really good by the way, we ate prior to going. We did notice the brunch specials were good and you can't beat a bottle of champagne for 15 dollars with juice options for your mimosas. We went there for a UFC fight and the place was busy. Parking was easy for the most part. We were a small group so we did get seated fast. We got seated outside and they had a nice set up with the swinging table. The appetizers were really good. We got the appetizer plater. The queso dip for the chips is really good. The place is super cute and fun to go to and the drinks look great although we came for a late Saturday lunch and nobody in our group of 4 was happy with our meals except one (he had the Buffalo chicken wings and said they were good). I had grilled cheese which was burnt and the cheese tasted like Kraft singles. It was kinda pricey for such low quality food. One in the party had the green pepper Mac n cheese which wasn't great and tasted like too many peppers. Overall food wasn't great, drinks looked better but we didn't have any. Conceptually, The Porch is a fun, hip, gastropub and for us it delivered on all of those things except for the "gastro" part. The ambiance is young and energetic with lots of activity and mingling. Our bartender was Ty and he was super friendly. The service was really good until they got swamped which is understandable. The food for us was not great, but not bad either. I will say my Porch Burger was seasoned properly and the bacon was good too. The potato chips with it were really disappointing. They were not fresh made which is OK, but they had no salt or other flavor either. We had the wings for an app and they were unremarkable. My wife had the chicken strips and they were cooked OK but under seasoned. As far as cocktails, the Cabin Fever was unbalanced & sickly sweet. Ty replaced it pronto and didn't bat an eye. The craft beer list is healthy and that was what most of the patrons were drinking so I joined them with a delicious Sculpin IPA. Really cool place. It's got an upbeat vibe. When you arrive, there will a complimentary valet service (although "tips are appreciated"). The inside can be a little loud, but not to the point where you have to shout across the table. When I last came here, Mikaela was our server and she was great. She stopped by regularly to check on us. She always had a smile on her face. The food was nice as well. We had the Porch Party Platter, which had quesadillas, sliders, fries, and tenders. Super cool chill spot. We went on a Wednesday and it was perfect. Just enough people but not enough to affect the game situation. Our server was delightful and attentive the entire time. We ordered a rib sandwich and the hot country chicken with jalapeño grits. Everything was good nice flavor. The parmesan fries were nice and crispy. We ordered a couple of cocktails that had jus the right pour. After enjoyed our meals it was time to play some of the outdoor lawn games. You can play cornhole and a giant connect four set up. I reserved a table 1 week in advance and they were so good. They sent me a text 1 hr prior to my reservation the day of to confirm. As soon as I arrived, the complimentary valet took my car and gave me a ticket. When I walked in, they took me directly to my reservation. I automatically got great vibes from the music playing. The waitress and everyone else was very attentive, making sure we were okay with drinks etc. All the food we ordered was great! All the drinks were worth it 100%. Honestly, this place was awesome! This is a neat place. I came here at the invitation of a coworker and wow. What an odd and cool environment. I think the kicker for me was the giant gnome (no really, it is around 10' tall)! I mean, who has those?! As it is, I tried their French Dip burger. Such a simple idea and the way they make it is a winner. I really loved the way they flavored the beef and the au jus was great because it wasn't overly salty like most. The chairs are very comfortable and the TVs are mounted at a nice height so your neck doesn't get cramped. In addition, to TV's there is also darts, a giant scrabble board, and a pucks table for your enjoyment. Happy hour is 5-6:15 pm and features half off appetizers and discounted drinks. However, I was a bit disappointed with the limited draft selection. On this visit we shared the Reuben sandwich, chicken panini, Parmesan truffle fries, bruschetta, and pretzels. Stopped in and went with The Porch cheeseburger and truffle fries. Half of the meal was great, half not so much. The burger was the good part. Excellent hearty beef flavor and just the right amount of condiments and toppings. My favorite part was the beautifully toasted bun which gave me a slight buttery toast crunch with every bite. I'd eat a burger any day. The other half of the meal was the fries. They were so undercooked they were completely white and not quite cool in the middle. I had to send them back and ask for a new 'golden brown' order. By the time I got them I had just one bite left of my burger and they were still undercooked being mostly yellow. I got there right when they opened and it's likely I was the first meal served so it's possible their oil hadn't come up to temperature. read more

The chopped salad is pre tossed so it's not in separate ingredients SO they add wayyyyyyy more argugala. Not a fan. The change is not great. All of our favorites disappeared. Drinks still good. First of all I like the feel of the Arcadia district. Twyla and I had salads (burning off the wedding) and some well needed cocktails. Twinkie has a Kale salad that had a great presentation and I had this huge double wedge salad. I say double wedge as literally two wedges are presented on the plate. It was fantastic and contained grape tomatoes, sauteed onions, chunky blue cheese and thick cut bacon. This place looks like a good place to catch a game with an ample amount of TV's and drink option set to please both him and her. The established is very clean and modern. It has very limited parking, so valet was the only option we had. No biggie, a few bucks for a nice guy! I spend that on Starbucks everyday. The menu was a mixed compilation of American dishes. The concept of the Porch is brilliant! They have a great dog friendly patio, roll up garage doors, life size Jenga, Plenco ,Scrabble and a decent menu with a decent happy hour! All the young waitresses are in lullulemon and Daisy Duke t-shirt knots and fortunately follow the old saying "spandex is a Right not a Privilege" I brought my dog and sat on one of the picnic benches and when I looked around the grounds I realized how dirty it was! There were cigarette butts, candy wrappers, food and trash in the surrounding bushes and on the astroturf lawn.... a neighboring dog from another table kept trying to eat the wrappers and cigarette butts.... it's gross!
