Wasn't too impressed with this place. Looks cooler from the outside. They have a self serve craft beer tap which is pretty interesting.

This was our first time trying out the Porch. We went Sunday around 2pm, happened to be during the World Cup, and was mostly full. We were told we could take a table but there was a reservation for it at 4:30 which was no problem. Looking around, I immediately noticed a couple of open tables and then the staff occupying 2 high top tables where they all seemed to kind of hang out. Our server was friendly but wasn't really around much. I ordered the bowl of pork green chili with black rice- it was good but definitely needed more lime and cilantro. I would get it again... just ask in advance for what you need because you may not see your server for a while. My fiance got a hot chicken sandwich which was ok- the fries were great! Be prepared, it is loud, loud, loud inside. TV's turned all the way up, and young drunk kids enjoying brunch and yelling over one another. If that's your vibe, you will love. read more

Really liked this place and this was close to a 5 out of 5. We came in for lunch and enjoyed the dog friendly patio with our pup. The Porch burger and sweet potato fries were great and the atmosphere was nice, though a bit crowded and loud making it a great place to eat and chill, however if you want to have a chat with friends the noise may be a bit overbearing during busy times. Service was great and the food was excellent, I will definitely be back and maybe try a happy hour here as the deals look enticing and the drink were top notch! read more

Our first time here and it was just okay. Our server was Kayla and we all just didn't get off on a good start. We were served a dead guy ale and there was a long piece on blonde hair in the drink. It took awhile for Kayla to come around to check on us so we all waited! for the beer to be replaced. I ordered a porch poppers for a starter and it came out with our main food dinner. Our server never check on us until a table busser came around to gather pit plates. Finally we got our servers attention to get our check. Of course the check was scattered and mixed up, so I got my pen and had to separate the check for her. Realizing, not one of our food was at least comped for the long blond hair. I ordered an orange juice the waiter went next to the bar exchanged a few words with a manager that was wearing glasses. Came back asked if Id liked ice in my Orange juice. Instead of asking what went wrong with the service she only said "do you know our waitress has to split this tip" after our Bus boy did way more than our waitress. The service was very bad! They took more than 20+ min to bring our drinks and NEVER checked on us, the bus boy or cook possibly took more care of us then our own waiter. We tipped very little honestly to our waiter AND gave the bus boy a $50 tip and the waiter first asked us why we tipped so little and we explained what went wrong she had her manager confront us instead of asking us what the issue was the manager was more upset about the tip ... instead of apologizing for the poor service and thanking the bus boy for the GREAT SERVICE. The manager did not at all listen to us and instead confronted us. Very ugly. read more

This place does have good potential if the staff and menu improve. There was no check up to see how the table was doing, and our drinks were not refilled. The atmosphere is nice, but it's not a good choice if you don't eat meat. There were minimal options for vegetarians and the waitress was not willing to ask whether things on the menu could be substituted for something else; essentially no accommodations. I wasn't too upset with that because I know I won't be able to eat everywhere, but it was the waitresses lack of willingness to even ask if something could be changed. I used to work in customer service so it's very important to me as a customer how the staff treats their patrons. I will only come here again because of friends that enjoy watching the game. read more

We sat inside thinking it would be more quiet since there's games outside.. but the music was uncomfortably loud. We got a drink and left. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! My first time there yesterday and sat at the bar. The server got out drink request wrong and our food order was incorrect as well. That's fine. Mistakes happen but no apology. The female bartenders, one being the bar manager, had conversations with each other about their sweaty armpits and sweaty crotches loud enough for me to hear. Instead of asking if we needed another drink or water refill they stayed on their cell phones texting. Sooooooo unprofessional!! When we complained to the manager she said "my bad". SMH! read more

Remorseful. It's hard to get out when I try to be extra careful about covid precautions for my immunocompromised family members. So when I do order out, I try to order local. I had never tried the Porch before. Ordered some food togo through the website. They use a 3rd party site called "chow now". I order chicken tacos, roasted cauliflower, and the salmon salad (because the other salad I wanted on their website wasn't available on chow now). I was excited they had installed a foot door opener so you don't need to use your hand to open the front door. But then I was greeted by a hostess without a mask. I grabbed my togo food and was off. Drove across town to my destination and pulled out my order. They had given me a small soup cup with chicken in it and fries instead of the chicken tacos. Apparently there is a glitch between the chow now site and the restaurant so it doesn't show up as "tacos" on their end. Then the salmon was cooked nicely but it was on a bed of lettuce with a couple tiny little diced cucumbers. Didn't even equal one cucumber slice. I like veggies, that's why I ordered a salad. Also no ranch on the side as requested and no plastic wear or napkins to eat it with. When I called the restaurant they tried to say originally it was out of their control and that I needed to drive back across town in rush hour if I wanted anything done about it. I had to suggest the refund of the "chicken tacos" before they would do anything. I hoped they would follow through and they did. That's why they are getting 2 stars instead of one. Great atmosphere and loved the tall hedges and outdoor games also got to see a cute puppy which was great :) Food was good we started with the chicken nachos which were awesome! Good service too. Wouldn't recommend the chopped wedge it had quarter sized blue cheese chunks and the lettuce was soggy from the amount of dressing that was added. read more

Stopped in for an event which we just missed. Vibe is great, music games and energetic staff. The bar chairs are super comfy! We didn't get food but menu is vast and they have a brunch menu on weekends. Happy hour till 7p. read more

Pretty straight forward neighborhood restaurant and bar. They have happy hour from 3-6:15 and the $4 pints of craft beer are a very good value. It would be hard to find a $4 Ballast Point Sculpin anywhere else in town. The Porch burger with fries was OK. Nothing special one way or another.
