Really great food but be prepared for the atmosphere if you are going for dinner. We went on a Friday night and they have a DJ and are pumping the music pretty loud throughout the restaurant. Pretty great place! Stopped by on a whim for lunch and tried the appetizer platter. Thank goodness we didn't order more because this was MORE than enough food for the two of us. Mozzarella sticks, wings, fried pickles strips, salsa, guac and queso dip with chips as well! My favorite was the guac/queso dip combo. One of the best cheese dips I've ever had. Tried to order the frozen porcharita but their machine was broken. Instead I tried the insanely long title of a strawberry and a lemon walked into a bar. It was okay, definitely strong as the server stated. It said it was made with a strawberry purée but instead it was muddled strawberry. I just do not enjoy chewing my drink. Seating was okay, it was cold so we sat inside which has some awkwardly placed tables. We sat next to the darts and on top of the ski ball machine. This place is called the porch for a reason so the best seating is probably outside. Went here on Tuesday during happy hour, the drinks were really good (jungle juice), the NACHOS super delicious, and the golden bbq wings were also very good. Lots of after work folks, good service- would def recommend. In the cooler months they have games and a nice patio outside. read more

Amazing place for food, drinks and fun! We came in on a Saturday around 6:30pm so not too busy but you could definitely tell it was a popular spot. We took a seat at the bar and we were immediately greeted by Warner! Super friendly and attentive - made sure we were taken care off the bat and again when we came back around 10 after a comedy show (don't tell comedy - check it out!). After two hours of waiting I did not get my food, so I left. At our table of 6, one person got her food and the rest of us did not. Came here last week on a Tuesday night while on vacation. It's like any bar on a Tuesday night, nothing crazy but still people sitting outside and at the bar. We sat outside next to some nice heaters that kept us toasty. The outside area was perfect, with tables and couches and games. Inside had a nice cool vibe. We ordered food and had drinks. My boyfriend actually said with a mouth full (about his chicken nachos), "these are the best nachos I've ever had." And let me tell you, he rarely comments on anything. I think that says a lot. I was really excited to try this place but it was a disaster. first, they tell you to scan a qr code for their menu. They do not have half the stuff on the menu and they also charge way more than listed and refuse to honor their own menu prices. They do it with food and drinks! We asked a couple questions about their happy hour and were told it already ended even though there was 45 minutes left. They also had an all day special they would not honor. I am only upset about the bait and switch tactic. As a result we did not have dinner as intended. I am fine to pay whatever price is listed. Our bartender was fairly tentative when she was around. There were three bartenders yet all seemed to be elsewhere or just not paying attention. The two gentlemen next to us asked for a side of ranch...15 minutes later and still no ranch. When our bartender finally asked us how the food was I let her know that they had asked for ranch yet, never received it. It was about this time one of the gentlemen got up and walked over to the kitchen window and asked for ranch. The food was good, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it to others. The Porch was a totally unique experience! We were on vacation from Wisconsin and friends in Wisconsin recommended that we try The Porch. We had an awesome time, not only enjoying our drinks, appetizers, and dinner, but we enjoyed the total atmosphere. The staff that attended our table were fun! They were very attentive as our waitress returned often to see if we needed more drinks, napkins, or food. When we asked questions about several of the entrees on the menu, she was more than accommodating to answer them. The people at the table next to us were engaging in the game, Jenga, with large blocks. We had so much fun with them as we were rooting for their success as they challenged each other building and removing blocks. Pros: Great location, fun games, good food. Cons: the staff are severally undertrained and inexperienced. Visited the Porch 5-6 times in the last 8 months and the results are always the same. Slow service, staff on their cell phones half the time, inexperienced bartenders, hostess who have no idea what their job is. At this point you have to blame the mangers and hiring staff for putting people in these positions. Either they're trying to save a buck or the don't have a clue. I have a severe egg allergy. Server informed me that the burger buns contain egg so I ordered a burger to-go with a lettuce wrap. Server informed me that she would tell the kitchen of my allergy & to be extra careful. The burger I was sent home with had a FRIED EGG on it, even though the description of the BBQ Burger on the menu does not include any mention of a fried egg. I had to throw away the entire burger & the fries it came with, as it was touching the burger--spent $16 just to throw it all in the trash. I am thankful I lifted the lettuce & checked the burger before taking a bite, as I would be in the hospital if not. Extremely disappointed; to have a server inform the kitchen of an egg allergy & then for the kitchen to ADD AN EGG to a non-egg item is beyond negligent. read more

This was my third time visiting this place. I live quite far but my friends and I enjoy spending time here or shall I say "enjoyed". Unfortunately today's experience ruined all the enjoyment and I don't see myself coming to this place again, nor my friends. It all started when we got seated we had pretty big group and our server who's name I believe is Alexandra (she had a full sleeve tattoo). Was quite rude from the start. It took her about 15-20 minutes to even ask us what we're ordering she never greeted us or apologized. During this process I asked if she could bring a cake/desert for my friend as it was his birthday, she said she can't, when I asked her why she simply replied "I just can't." In my head I thought oh maybe they ran out of cakes or deserts, when she came back with our order I asked her if anything sweet is available and she gave me the "you're annoying me" look. And again replied nothing sweet is available, I just don't understand why couldn't she explain the reason. Now when she served the food she didn't provide any silverware or napkins and such. No biggie it's Friday night place is busy I understand long day. However she didn't come to our table in about 20 minutes which of course by that time the food was cold. We wanted to get more drinks and food however we didn't see her for another 30-40minutes which at that time we just wanted to go. When we asked for checks and said how to split it she rudely replied that she isn't going to do so, asking for explanation again on why, she started looking for a reasons and gave different responses each time, and finally just said that her computer simply isn't working. By that time we were annoyed and the last drop was when she literally threw a single check(in the book) on the table as she was walking by. It took another 10-15 minutes for her to comeback and get the check. After that she threw the check on our table without saying anything. I hate to be that person but our group consisted of mainly people of color and it seems to be the problem for her. Because during this long time of sitting at the table we could see how she would serve everyone( same tables ) over and over but not us.
