Noah's bagels used to be my go to spot for bagels until I discovered posh bagel. Now every time that I come here, I'm kind of disappointed, but I come here occasionally because it's so close to my house. Service, ambience, restaurant is like any standard Noah's bagel chain. The food itself is kind of disappointing. I remember the bagels being much more hearty and larger when I was a student years ago. Inflation has hit hard because I don't find the bagels to be very satisfying or super filling anymore. I appreciate how they cook their eggs, in fact, I prefer this over how posh bagel will cook their eggs, and they find the filling to be pretty tasty but overall it just doesn't feel like it's worth the value. read more

The food is not amazing, especially for the price that comes with it. Furthermore the customer service is terrible here. I thought I might have left my sunglasses in there, but I live 40 min away, I don't want to drive all the way over just for there to be a chance my sunglasses weren't in there. So I called the store to see if my sunglasses were there, and no one picked up the call. I called again and still no response. I ended up having to spam call the store repeatedly and then a girl finally picked up and immediately with attitude said "i'm putting you on hold." I said "Excuse me?" and she followed with more attitude and rudeness "I'm helping someone right now, so you're on hold." I assume she put the phone in her apron or a pocket of some sort and she didn't even mute the call. I sat on "hold" for a little over 5 min. I asked my question that doesn't take a lot of time, and she wasn't helpful about that either. Didn't check in the back if there was sunglasses, it didn't feel like there was an effort on her part to see if there were sunglasses left behind. I had a question that would probably take less than two minutes to handle over the phone. It's extremely unprofessional to not pick up the phone, and then when they finally decide to pick up, to throw attitude at the person on the other side of the line. I work retail and food service, I understand the fast paced environment, but I would never treat the guests of my store that way, no matter the medium. Not only did she interrupt us in the middle of our order to talk to her coworkers about restaurant gossip, but she rolled her eyes and acted annoyed when we tried to finish our order. There was also more than enough schmear that came with the 2 dozen bagels. Packaging made for easy presentation, allowing for people to quickly grab whatever they wanted. First of all there are literally gloves and bagels and all kinds of shit on the floor. Second, this big dude taking our order literally being lazy or just dont wanna do his job and asked his coworker to do it for him. What are you paying him for? He didn't even listen to what I ordered and I had to wait another 15 minutes. The bagels actually tasted gross. I tried to eat my food immediately but the sausage was cold and everything was just bland. Some people just dont have that much time to wait and have other things to do. NEVER AGAIN! I love bagels, but seriously, this Noah's needs some customer service training ASAP. I've had issues here before, but yesterday I just wanted 4 sliced, not even toasted, bagels. Easy, right? Ha! I walked in around 2:30pm and there was literally no one there, not even behind the counter. After about 3 minutes of standing there, I said, "Hello!" to get someone's attention. I could hear someone talking in the back office. No response. After another 2 to 3 minutes, I said it again, even louder. Still no response. Then the guy finally comes out from the back and looked at me like I was completely bothering him. His exact words were, "What can I get you?" No apologies, no greeting...nothing. I gave him my order, he rang it up and I paid by card while he turned around and got the bagels, sliced them, then handed me the bag...and simply said, "Here are your bagels". In Davis was the first time I ever heard of Noah's Bagels, and it was also the first time I tried it out. I'll say the sandwiches are always a hit! Not just the breakfast, but also the deli sandwiches are superb. When it comes to coffee, it's mostly a good experience. Maybe just once my coffee was cold, but the staff was nice to remake it The outdoor seating is perfect as well, so you can get that fresh air of Davis and enjoy the sun in the plaza the Noah's Bagels is located at. The app is useful to order ahead and get rewards over time. Of course, they also offer bagels: plain bagels, pizza bagels and breakfast bagels If you want a good start to your day, Noah's Bagels is a good spot for a solid breakfast and brunch. read more

Start to finish this was the worst experience I've ever had here, and they are pretty mediocre to begin with. First, when I ordered a jalapeño bagel with Plain cream cheese the cashier didn't ask for a name or give me a number. Then I was asked to give a minimum of a 40% tip...no option to tip anything else...I luckily had cash for a tip. Then I'm waiting for my bagel and they are calling names. After 10 minutes I asked how I would know my order was ready. They all conferred amongst themselves and ignored me. 5 minutes later I asked, So how do I know when my order is ready???? I'm extremely satisfied with this sandwich and am hesitant to stray away from what I know to be good. My only complaint with the food itself would be the size. Aside from that, service is rough. It gets busy in the morning and waiting in line can go from 5-10 or 15 or more. Don't even get me started on the wait for your order. Piss Poor Service. I couldn't even bring myself to order food after being blatantly ignored for so long. I was the only customer waiting to order and I stood for an uncomfortably long time without even a greeting. 4 employees behind the counter occasionally peeking over their shoulders and going right back to ignoring me. One employee walked in front of me and kept his head turned away as not to make eye contact. When he returned from the back he did the same thing. I said "excuse me" and his "I'll be right with you" was in an irritated and dismissive tone. I left. I won't be back. Not sure how efficient a bagel place needs to be but with 4 behind the counter it would seem things should come out faster on a Saturday lunch. I went in one day and asked Mikey to make me a sandwich his way, and it was one of the best sandwiches, now whenever I see him I ask him to make the sandwich of my choice in the way he does, and I have not been disappointed yet! I'm not a New Yorker, so don't come at me when I say that I love Noah's bagels. My favorite bagel is the blueberry one, paired with a strawberry schmear. I ordered ahead for pick up. Waited 10minutes after ordering and walked on over around 11am. There's a counter at the front for takeout orders so I didn't even have to interact with anyone when I came in to get my order. Perfect for the pandemic! There were floor markers indicating 6 feet social distancing, I got a medium brewed coffee, blueberry bagel with strawberry schmear, and a six cheese bagel. Wow, they hooked me up with the schmear. My first bite squished a bunch of schmear out, I'm not complaining! I was too excited and hungry to take a picture of it. I struggle writing this review. In summary Food is great Customer service is slow Management is HORRIBLE It was my first time trying Noah's bagels and I ordered some bagels, spread and a coffee. The bagels and the spread options are undeniably great! I can't find a honey smhear anywhere so i appreciated that they had it here. The bagels were yummy, I tried regular bagels and I got the pizza bagel which did not disappoint. The service is pretty slow, there were a lot of people waiting and it took a little while to get my order, but not slow enough I wouldn't go back. The management... this is the reason I kind of don't want to go back. Since I was waiting in line all I saw was the manager or owner (not sure which one he was. Early 30s white man, heavy build) being so rude to the employees to the point where I felt uncomfortable. He kept raising his voice at the employees that the toaster has to "always be filled to full capacity", then he kept telling this employee they "needed gloves on, no excuses why there should be no gloves on", and then continuously micro managing an order from telling them what cutting board to use, changing gloves, checking the status etc. Mind you yes, wearing gloves and being stocked is important. But the tone, pitch, and the words he was using with the employees would not make me want to work there. It was difficult to watch as a customer I can't imagine how the employees feel. If you want bagels yes this is a great place, but for me I was disappointed to see the employees get treated that way. read more

I decided to try Noah's Bagels for the first time because it was close by to where I needed to be. My dog was getting a check up at Banfield so I figured I'd stop in here. We couldn't get the stuff we wanted to order because their oven was not working. So we opted for the Salmon one and the Turkey one (I don't remember the names). Customer service here is EXTREMELY slow. After our order was placed, the vet called and said my dog would be ready in about 5-10 minutes. It took them almost 20 minutes to make 2 bagels. I did enjoy the bagels though. They were very good and really satisfied my stomach. My dog enjoyed her bagel too. If you don't mind inconsistency and waiting 15+ minutes for your order to realize they got it completely wrong the moment you arrive home... then this is the perfect place for you. This has actually happened to me every single time I've come here for the past 4 years. Today, I decided to go give this place another try after taking a year hiatus due to the notoriously awful service and mess ups with orders. When I arrived, I was the only customer inside and I had ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich. Within 5 minutes of ordering, a group of 10 individuals came in to order after me. Looking at the line, I had thought I was lucky since I came in before the rush! Like woo hoo! However, this was not the case at all. In reality, half of all their orders came out before mine, and I realized they hadn't even begun making my order. The icing on the cake was that the employees had no issues chatting and having Snapchat videos taken of them. I literally heard them say they forgot to make my order and after 10 minutes I finally saw them acknowledge me and make my order after prioritizing the 10 customers that came in after me. No apology for forgetting my entire order while I waited in silence watching all 10 customers that came well after me receive their order. And of course, my food was stone cold. For $10, I received terrible service, food, and feel ripped off as I paid extra for cream cheese and no joke, it looked like they wiped the excess left over cream cheese from a knife onto my sandwich. Management and employees here need to step it up to provide quality service, food, and to be more aware of when a customer is waiting 15 minutes for 1 item while others who came in significantly after, receive their food within 4 minutes of ordering. As someone who has worked in food service in over 5 locations and 10 years of experience, I understand how it can be. Ordered two Brisket sandwiches online. When I get to the restaurant to pick up my order the cashier tells me the Brisket is frozen and what do I want to do? I waited 20 mins for my order for them to tell me this. No one canceled the Order or even attempted to contact me. But I pulled up and put my hazards on as instructed and waited more than 20 minutes past the time that the the bagels should have been ready. At no time did any staff member come out. But plenty of people went in. They were completely not set up for managing customers during a pandemic. The door was still closed, not propped, so everyone had to touch the doorknob to get in. And then people would be in there for quite awhile waiting to get their stuff. You all remember what the line used to be like at Noah's. Same. I tried calling the location multiple times while I was waiting there but the phone number is set up so you can't speak to anyone and can't leave a message. I pre-paid $12.72 for these bagels and left without bagels. No one came out. I wasn't going to go in and join the herd inside - that's the reason I used curbside in the first place. Don't go to Noah's Bagels when they're closing within the hour. They bundle all the bagels together and you don't know which is which behind the case. The guy who took my order was the cashier. He had gloves on but he was scratching his neck, adjusting his mask, fixing his glasses, and rearranging his hat. I was hoping he used tongs, tissue or new gloves but he didn't. I ordered a half a dozen bagels to go and hoping the toaster will kill off the germs when I get it home to eat it. He combined the bagels with the blueberry bagels so I had to ask for a different bag for the blueberry ones.
