Nice atmospheres a ok and the service. No for the consumable products. So to start off the tea that is offered is out of a gun. Not a good start. For an appetizer we ordered the nachos which was tasty but there wasn't 2 ounces of hamburger meat on the entire thing. The group of four ordered two burger both were the "pound" not bad not great. Beautiful day so my husband and I took a nice ride and ended up here. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. When our order arrived we were totally shocked by the quantity size. My boyfriend and I went here for a date night and the crowd was pretty young. They had a loud DJ so it was hard to have a conversation because everyone was trying to yell over the music. We sat at the bar to be able to watch basketball and had ok service but overall, it was just an average bar with an average atmosphere. The TV quality wasn't very good so I wouldn't suggest going here for to watch a sporting event. read more

Nice atmosphere, lots of flatscreen tvs and very nice staff. Service was friendly and efficient. Beer selection was good and the pizza was pretty spectacular. Wings were ok. Would definitely go back again; especially this spring/summer as it has a wall of garage doors and rooftop patio. Update: sitting at the bar cam be brutal with one bartender. My husband & I tried this out about a month ago. The food that we got was alright, we just got burgers & beer. We like our burgers medium & they were a little underdone, but not too bad. However, the thing that was kinda not my style about the place was it kinda felt like a college bar. Maybe I'm just too old (early 30s) but the music was loud, it was very dark, the waitstaff seemed kinda busy with being social rather than helping customers. It does seem like it'd be a fun place to go to watch a game or to go with a big group of friends... like after playing a softball game or something. Looks like there is a deck too which is probably fun in the summertime. We might give this another try then, it just wasn't really what we were looking for that night I think. read more

I have gone to the pound on multiple occasions to enjoy its great outdoor patio for lunch or the rooftop for drinks at night. I had a wonderful experience last week for lunch with our waitress who was the best and had so much fun. Today I went for lunch and had the worst service I've ever experienced. I went inside to pay my bill in full and speak to the manager to explain that our server seemed to not know what he was doing and maybe needed additional help or training. At the same time another customer came to him with the same complaint. The manager's response was "well I've never had a complaint about him before, everyone has bad days" I would expect an apology for the poor service and to feel this server would be given the assistance he needs to learn his job appropriately. Unfortunately I will never return to this restaurant now after management had no regard for his customer or staff. read more

Beware of overly aggressive bouncers working Friday/Saturday nights. My sister and brother-in-law did nothing to provoke the bouncer(s) or antagonize anyone in the vicinity and my brother-in-law was aggressively grabbed by the neck and physically thrown out by two bouncers while dancing with my sister (his wife) for no apparent reason. He would have bashed his head on the cement if he had not put his hands out to catch himself in time. He has a sprained wrist now and we are seeking legal action. I don't know if the bouncers thought he was someone else or the exact reason this happened, apparently he was dancing too roughly? But either way this is unacceptable. Never returning. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED !! Stopped in on a Wednesday night after a concert at the Mill Pond to have a drink and decide what to do about dinner. Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals was on, so decided to eat there. I opted for the Mushroom and Swiss Waygu burger medium/med rare and a side/dinner salad for a fee ($2.99). I really wished I had taken a pic of my burger. My immediate response was... "Where's the beef?" I had a nice big Brioche bun with plenty of lettuce, about 6 pickle slices, and this little piece of beef with some Swiss cheese and I only tasted ONE mushroom. I asked the waitress what was up with this huge mismatch and she said that is only 1/4lbs. burger on that "special", which was $13! And half the burger was over cooked and well done. Girlfriend ordered boneless wings. She received 8 chicken nugget sized pieces of chicken for $10. I had 1 small Two Hearted and gf had 1 Moscotto and with tip we were at nearly $50...OUCH !! read more

Phenomenal establishment. My brahs and I practically live here and have become very close with the staff. Quality food, a little overpriced for food and drinks but worth it for the experience. The only downfall is that we don't usually get greeted at the front door, we appear as alcoholics to the staff, and they don't make frozen drinks (the worst part). Plus no Poké Stop. Boo. Not sure what the low stars are about, but I thought this place was great! The atmosphere is a little loud. Turn your TVs down...not necessary. But, the food was really good. Great patio, mediocre food, and bad service. We ate on the upstairs outdoor patio, which had great atmosphere. Unfortunately, that is the best thing I can say about this restaurant. We waited a long time for food and were disappointed when it arrived. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, the wrap was OK, but the 1/4 lb. burgers were really bad. Like, frozen and worse-than-fast-food bad. The service was extremely slow and no staff members were attentive at all. It seemed exclusively staffed by lots of very young, very pretty, and very scantily-clad blonde girls. They were everywhere, chatting with each other and looking bored in their uniforms of skin-tight t-shirts and shorts. I'm all for a pretty waitress but, for god's sake, train them and keep them busy. If you are after a nice meal with decent service, you should go somewhere else. With so many other great restaurants in Brighton, I just can't recommend this one. read more

Food was average at best. My youngest had Mac and Cheese and found a black hair in it. The manager took it off the bill, but the message was relayed via the server. Usually pretty standard the manager makes an appearance when there is hair in the food. It was around 80 outside and they need to crank up the air a little on the inside. For burgers and Mac and cheese the wait seemed too long on what it should. Plus side, they do have a good selection of beers and have tater tots (always a good thing), but in my opinion not enough to offset the average food and wait time to get the meals. read more

This spot was decent. Decent for Brighton. Maybe not the best food. The pizza was ok. But, a great spot to drink with some friends. The waitstaff is friendly and there is plenty of room for groups. Went to the rooftop to be seated, saw a few empty tables, walked toward the hostess station and the hostess cut out in front of me forcing me to abruptly stop so she wouldn't hit me. The we followed her to the hostess stand and she just stared at us. So I said "2 please". She said we don't have any seats any available, I mean I guess I could put you on a wait list but I really don't think there will be any open tables for the rest of the evening. No apology just matter of fact. We turned to walk away and 3 people walked up to her, she immediately said " hi how many tonight" and proceeded to see where she could sit them. Worst service I have ever had. Went out with two other couples and had the rudest waitress of all time. She was rude while taking our order, and after ordering a pitcher of beer which she had forgot to bring us comes back 2 minutes after 10 pm saying we can no longer order a pitcher despite ordering it before 10 pm and she forgot to bring. She further put a 20% tip on our bill of two people. After inquiring why there was a 20% tip on our bill she threw the bill in the middle of our nachos which were less than half gone and were still eating. Worst place ever! read more

Ate there last week with my family and friends. I was very excited about a new family friendly restaurant in Brighton. It was such a let down. Food was not very impressive. Nachos with very little cheese. Macaroni and cheese was no more than elbows with american cheese mixed in. Grilled cheese was a small hoagie roll with american cheese. Burgers were just ok, no fries included. Just chips. It was opening weekend and they were busy, so the service gets a pass, however the menu needs much improvement. read more

Food is decent...but my big issue is they have a Turkey burger and a beef burger on the menu, at the same price, but you can't get any specialty burgers with a Turkey pattie...that's the dumbest thing I think I've ever heard. If they're the same price, then what's the problem. That's like saying you can't get your burger with out tomato. Wow what a dive. Being on Main Street it generally appears packed so I had high hopes for this place and was let down in every way possible. No one greeted us when we walked in so we just wandered around until we found an open table on the rooftop patio. There was still empty plates and beer cans from the previous diners left on the table. We had to ask three waitresses before we could finally get the mess cleared, and even then she didn't wipe it down so it remained sticky for the duration of our meal. The beers were pretty over priced for a small town in Michigan. Our "loaded nachos" were just stale chips smattered in cheap nacho cheese with some iceburg lettuce on top. I couldn't even stomach eating half the plate. I will NEVER be returning. read more
