We dine here fairly often, usually on our way to a movie at Tinseltown. I usually order something light like lettuce cups or fish tacos but the last time my husband and I were there, we both ordered the meatloaf, a great wintertime comfort food. It was very tasty, if you like salt, and the portion size was humongous! But the salt level was way over the top! Unbelievable! I would love to order meatloaf again but definitely will not punish myself. Such a disappointment. We took leftovers home and had another dinner off them but the salt level was still there so we both complained all through the meal, darn it. Came here on a Sunday to watch the PGA championship and they immediately turned it off to out on a random baseball game which was a little weird to me considering it seemed like a lot of people were there to watch it. Food was ok, Bloody Mary was fantastic. Had a weird experience at the end when I went to the outdoor bar to order a drink and the bartender looked at my ID and very rudely told me it was fake even though I am well past 21. They ended up serving me anyway but she was pretty condescending. read more

Fantastic place, wonderful customer service. We discovered this gem on our son's Chico State Sigma Chi Parent Weekend. The menu was extensive with many different options from seafood to poultry to beef, salads, and many options for cocktails and drinks. Our server highly recommended the cauliflower appetizer along with the buffalo wings which were by far so delicious. Will definitely return on our next visit. read more

I've been to this restaurant many times, and will likely continue for life. But today's service definitely deserves recognition. I had a couple friends visiting from out of town and it was a little warm for them, but we still took a seat outside with the breeze. Then the breeze faded and it started to warm up. So I asked the staff if we could move inside. And though there was a wait list for seating, they recognized the urgency and was able to quickly accommodate my guests. The food was delicious and prompt. I was there at 9:05pm for their Happy Hour mid-week. When I paid my bill around 9:25pm, there was no mention of last call or that they were closing at 9:30pm. The server should have refilled my drink when I paid the bill but failed to. Then when I finally got her attention, I was told that they were closed and they had thrown out their ice tea. I understand they want to go home but there are customers left. So very very wrong especially when the general manager says take your time and don't rush to her customers. read more

The food is always delicious. Kudos to the cooks. This restaurant will never lack business but logical service is missing. No setups at the table when we got there. Ordered our drinks and they were plopped down over filled. No offer to wipe the table. Finally caught the bus boy who wiped the table for us. When we were served we kicked our stop watch on. At 5 min we got the hostess to get our setups. Our waitress showed up six and a half minutes later! How hard is for the hostess to take the setup to the table when you're seated. I watched people looking for silverware and napkins just like we did! How sad! Service keeps customers coming back. read more

I always have a good time at Pour House. The vibe is a little loud and rowdy, but service is usually friendly. The food is pricey for what it is - some of the offerings are really good, others are pretty mediocre. Drinks are good but pricey (unless you hit happy hour). It was my niece's birthday and she wanted to go here for dinner. This was a Wednesday. We waited 20 minutes to get a table which was no big deal. While we waited we looked at the menu and chose what we wanted to eat. After being seated we were completely ignored - no one ever came to our table not even to bring water. After waiting another 20 minutes my nieces decided we should just leave and go somewhere else. Thanks for such a wonderful birthday dinner. read more
