The bread service was a great start--fresh and satisfying. The menu does vary a bit from Lincoln Heights, which caught me off guard since I was hoping to order the Sol, but it wasn't available at this location. I ended up going with the chicken parmigiana, and it did not disappoint. It was flavorful with a perfectly crispy coating, making it a solid choice. Overall, a good experience--just something to keep in mind if you have a favorite dish from another location.

We had a hearing challenged person with us and they happily moved us to a quiet corner in another room. We were worried they'd forget us, but they never did. Andrew was our waiter and he was on it the entire time. A couple of us loved our menu choice and one of us thought their's was bland and dry. They got the baked ziti. Mine was pretty good...Fettuccini Margaret with chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms in a tomato cream. I'm hesitant to get chicken, because it can be dry, but this was cooked great. The tomato cream was nice, too. They brought out bread, hummus and olive oil to start and it's complimentary. That was a nice touch, but the olive oil tasted a little old. And we didn't finish the bread or our appetizers, so that was my indicator that everyone felt the same. We were there to celebrate something, so we didn't talk much about the food. We started with calamari and shrimp paesano for the appetizers. We didn't really care for the calamari and the shrimp was good. The guest of honor ordered the kahlua chocolate tres leches, which was ok. That didn't get finished. They brought out a cotton candy bowl, which was a really cool touch! Overall, it didn't feel special enough to warrant the pricing, so I probably won't return.

I didn't like them. But I did enjoy the salad that they were sitting on. And yes, I will always go back there, even though I think the crab was spoiled.

This young black man (forgiveness, I did not get his name) was professional, polite, kind, attentive, timely, and flexible! The place was packed and active as it was Spurs final game... he told us the score lol, kept glasses full, coffee fresh, food hot and spirits high. We were a part of 6 with a last minute addition and he was 'on it!'. If you want or need your experience at this location to go almost perfect, ask for this young man. I know I will!

We were immediately seated and Jamie, our server was friendly and attentive. Actually the entire staff was excellent. We opted for the prix fix luncheon menu - so worth it! Your choice of main with salad or dessert orrrrrrr for +$3 you get all 3! Our server asked us if we wanted bread, and we said yes. The complimentary breads were nice and warm- a mixture of freshly made white and a dried fruit nut bread. The dark bread with dried fruit/nuts was my fave and highly addictive lol Ordered : Baby spinach salad with Brie on the side- fresh spinach drizzled with a light vinaigrette and sprinkled with pieces of dried fruit and bacon. The breaded/fried Brie was ooey gooey goodness. Hubby had the Classic Caesar and he enjoyed it. Both salads were decent large bowl portions. Grilled miso glazed Atlantic salmon- fresh, earthy, healthy, and delicious! A good piece of salmon cooked to perfection in a mild miso glaze and topped with an avocado relish. Everything (the quinoa, toasted cashews, grilled bok choy, and salmon) paired and blended so well together. Pure delish. I was completely full afterwards, but hubby had some space for dessert. Choices for dessert were limited to 3 - crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, or toasted coconut mousse pie. We chose the dark chocolate mousse- absolutely beautiful! Dark chocolate was sinfully good, cocoa nibs added a slightly crunch, and the berries were fresh and plump. We were happily stuffed. Service was excellent and food delicious. We would definitely revisit.

Not too hot, just that easy breeze rolling off the river like it's got nowhere else to be. I'm there with my daughter and family, and the world's walking by boats cruising, people laughing, a little chaos, a little charm... dinner and a show, no ticket required. Now the food real Italian food. Not the kind that just throws red sauce at you and hopes for the best. This is layered. Garlic that actually means something. Rich, buttery sauces clinging to perfectly cooked pasta like they're in a lifelong commitment. You taste herbs, you taste depth it's the kind of Italian food that makes you slow down mid-bite and just nod like, "Yeah... they got this right." Drinks? Smooth enough to keep ordering, strong enough to make you question your life choices in the best way. Service was dialed in. Nobody missing, nobody stressed just right there when you needed them, like they were reading your mind or watching you a little too closely... either way, it worked. And the atmosphere? That's where it gets dangerous. Because you sit there watching the River Walk roll by, the noise, the laughter, the movement... and suddenly two hours disappear. You're ordering dessert you didn't plan on, another drink you don't need, and nobody at the table's in a hurry to leave. I came for Italian food... ...and ended up staying for everything else.

My grandmother,…read morethough Irish, lived with an Italian family from the age of twelve when her father lost everything they owned to gambling. The family that took her in taught my grandmother all about Italian cooking, some of which she passed down to her daughters. Her spaghetti sauce, which she called gravy, was the best. My mother's sauce was just as good. Therefore, we never ate spaghetti out because we knew it wouldn't be as good. Last night, I was hungry for Italian food. Spaghetti was far from my mind. However, a super two for one deal on Door Dash enticed me to order spaghetti with Italian sausage from Albi's Vite Italian Kitchen. It arrived in two foil pans with plastic domed lids. There was enough food in those two servings for me to eat four meals! When I took the lid off, I could not believe how many slices of Italian sausage were on top of the spaghetti. The marinara sauce looked kind of plain and simple but was surprisingly flavorful. I was able to eat a slice of sausage with every bite. That combined with the chunky tomato pieces in the sauce made for a very satisfying meal. Was it the best spaghetti I've ever had? No. Would I order it when I visit the restaurant in person? No. But it was good enough to make me ready to try other dishes on their menu. I think they will most likely blow me away. The reheated portion I had for lunch today was even better! The pasta absorbed a lot of the tomato flavor. I think my next batch will be fried in a tiny bit of butter the way my mother did it when she had leftovers.

There were 14 of us ranging in age from 6 to 91 with a range of dietary restrictions including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and no/low salt/fat. The table was ready when we got there and easily accessible, even for those with walkers and wheelchairs. The service throughout the evening was excellent. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Food came out in a timely and organized manner -- not piecemeal -- which is especially noteworthy given the size of our group. The portions were generous. And without listing everything that was ordered, based on everyone's comments, it was all excellent. My 86-year-old uncle had the grilled Italian sausage and potatoes and said he's had that dish all over the world, and this was the best he's ever had. My wife's stuffed prawns (one of the night's specials) were outstanding. I had the chicken parmesan, but substituted the arrabiata sauce for the marinara, and can honestly and happily say it was the first time a restaurant's arrabiata sauce had the kind of kick it should! (One of our vegetarians and our vegan had the penne arrabiata and shared that opinion.) All in all, for the quality and quantity of the food and our overall experience, the prices were reasonable. Thank you to Milano Italian Grill for a memorable evening!
