I grew up in a family that did not believe in ordering spaghetti in a restaurant. My grandmother, though Irish, lived with an Italian family from the age of twelve when her father lost everything they owned to gambling. The family that took her in taught my grandmother all about Italian cooking, some of which she passed down to her daughters. Her spaghetti sauce, which she called gravy, was the best. My mother's sauce was just as good. Therefore, we never ate spaghetti out because we knew it wouldn't be as good. Last night, I was hungry for Italian food. Spaghetti was far from my mind. However, a super two for one deal on Door Dash enticed me to order spaghetti with Italian sausage from Albi's Vite Italian Kitchen. It arrived in two foil pans with plastic domed lids. There was enough food in those two servings for me to eat four meals! When I took the lid off, I could not believe how many slices of Italian sausage were on top of the spaghetti. The marinara sauce looked kind of plain and simple but was surprisingly flavorful. I was able to eat a slice of sausage with every bite. That combined with the chunky tomato pieces in the sauce made for a very satisfying meal. Was it the best spaghetti I've ever had? No. Would I order it when I visit the restaurant in person? No. But it was good enough to make me ready to try other dishes on their menu. I think they will most likely blow me away. The reheated portion I had for lunch today was even better! The pasta absorbed a lot of the tomato flavor. I think my next batch will be fried in a tiny bit of butter the way my mother did it when she had leftovers. read more

Today is Easter and we had a reservation at 2. We were seated right away. Although you'd think the hostess would have dressed a little better in stead of a hoodie, but oh well. Our waiter came right away with the bread oil and fresh bread. It was very good. There was 4 of us. My friend and I shared the trio. It was Lasagna, chicken parmesan, and fettuccine Alfredo. We got an avocado salad and split it as well. They don't make their dressing homemade, but the ranch wasn't bad. Our Alfredo was dry, and we asked for more sauce, we didn't receive it. My brother in law got the spinach florentine. He said it was great and big portions. My sister ordered the chicken picatta with veggies instead of pasta. It came out with pasta. She sent it back. They should have let her keep it, and brought the veggies on the side. By the time her food came (20 min later) we were almost finished. She didn't want it. We had to ask for a manager, (she should have come over anyway) she wasn't told what happened. We filled her in. We did end up getting the chicken picatta to go and a small order of fettuccine Alfredo. She also offered a free dessert. I'm not sure who needs more training. The cook, server or manager. I don't know how the chicken picatta is, but the rest of the food is pretty good. Large portions and competitive prices. If I'm in the area, maybe we'll go for lunch. read more

Recommend:Maybe Food: We went for my brothers birthday dinner. There were two chicken Alfredo orders and chicken Piccata. My brother and mom really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. My chicken piccata was ok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't any spectacular. It wish it was a little bit more creamier. The flavor was a little bit more bland than I would preferred. The highlight of the dinner for me was the Caesar salad! It was creamy, full of flavor, with a little bit of spice from the black pepper. Service: was good and fast. This place is pretty good! We decide to stop in to try some of their lunch specials and we left quite satisfied! We started off with their salads and calamari. Calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried, Ceasar salad was average at best. For my entree I decided on the Chicken Picata which was so delicious. I really liked the lemon sauce and capers with the noodles. My friend did order the spaghetti which was decent but did lack flavor. Where they earned their 5th star was the service and dessert. Our server and hostess were both great despite being busy. The host was was super sweet and even helped us out with ordering dessert. We went with the Affogoto style ice cream, cappuccino and their tiramisu. The ice cream was def my favorite!!! The creamy ice cream with the espresso was perfect. Their tiramisu was also great. A friend and I get together every 4-6 weeks and go out to eat. I picked him up, and he had 2 suggestions for us to try. One was Mediterranean, and the other was Italian. Both were local neighborhood restaurants, so either choice would support local business. I suggested that we do the Italian this time and the other one next month. The restaurant was easy to get in and parking was great. We didn't get in the front door, but we weren't far:). Walking in, a blackboard met us showing all the specials they had that day (both food and drink). Before we finished reading all the specials a friendly waiter arrived to take us to our table. Our table was in the back that near the bar. Menus were placed in front of us, appetizers suggested, and then they proceeded to ask for our drink orders. We weren't real hungry, so we skipped the appetizers. My friend was intrigued by the house wine special, and we both ordered that. By the time the wine was served, we had both decided on what to order for lunch. We both ended up getting the same thing - a sampler plate which included baked ziti, lasagna, and ravioli. Our food came out pretty fast, and it looked wonderful. I quickly tried a bite of each of the offerings and found them all to be good, but I liked the baked ziti best. When all was said and done, I wished I had ordered a full order of just baked ziti. Our waiter was attentive but did not become obtrusive. This is not the first time I've been to Albi's Vite, and will certainly not be the last! The previous time, I came with friends during lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went, most likely because it was a weekday afternoon, but service still took a little time. However, I love how they play beautiful Italian music while you eat! I got the chicken pesto panini the last time too, and it was delicious both times!! The chicken is perfectly seasoned, not too salty, and very juicy! The bread is encrusted in cheese, and the dipping sauce is a match made in heaven! This sandwich is very much comfort food for me. Went there yesterday around 3 pm to try because we wanted some Italian food and this place did not disappoint! They started by giving us some bread and olive oil, the waiter was super nice and had even told us "I guarantee you'll love it here and if you do you can blame it on me", I loved his confidence! He recommended us dishes based on what we were feeling whether it was something light or something more creamier. We had some cheese sticks for an appetizer, which were great not your typical fried mozarella sticks I believe they're baked! I ordered the chicken florentine based on the waiter's recommendation, really really good with a side Cesar salad and it was really fresh. The Italian wedding soup tasted just like Campbell's beef and barley soup from way back when. The steak was actually pretty good but needed more pasta as opposed to a few strands that were served underneath. The issue was the fact that there was a large party that was making a lot of noise! And it made the restaurant extremely loud and kind of uncomfortable. Should react faster to make sure that this kind of disturbance doesn't bother the rest of the patrons in the restaurant going forward. Three stars. read more

I ordered take out, did the penne all's vodka, which would have been amazing on its own but I added a meat sauce to it and it did not disappoint folks. The flavor was savory and delish.
