We ordered the Cowboy Feast. It came with a 33 oz Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye, an 8 oz garlic stuffed filet, a 12 oz New York strip, and mesquite grilled Gulf shrimp. For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

I've been in the Dallas area for the past week and I'm giving up beef when I get back home. We came here on a Thursday evening and I ordered the prime rib with fries and asparagus. Food was amazing!!! I washed that down with two old fashioned. Drinks were good!! The service was great, our waiter continuously check on us without being overbearing and kept our drinks flowing. We set outside and enjoyed the cool breeze which enhanced our experience. Overall I enjoyed this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good steakhouse to visit.

The food choices and quality is great. Everything taste so good. The staff and service is great, location & setting is all great! If you like to EAT, for appetizer I REALLY recommend the Chef's favorite 4, and the Whiskey Bread pudding as dessert. You will not be disappointed! They are delicious. I didn't take a photo but the Mac & cheese is my favorite side!

The Ranch is consistently good- I've been a few times and never had a dish I'd classify as less than amazing. Friends and family are always impressed with the food and atmosphere. The steak is cooked and seasoned to perfection; and paired with the tallow fries? *chef's kiss* Recently I tried out to the drinks and was blown away with the selection- Michael recommended the perfect tequila for my ranch water, which wound up being the best one I've had. Finish any meal with their chipotle chocolate cake and you'll never be happier leaving a restaurant

Five Stars across the board! Texas centric from atmosphere to cuisine. Took a customer for business lunch and both of us were impressed with the experience. Met at front desk by well trained greeters who immediately entered my name and phone number into the cue system. Less than 3 minutes later my name was called by America . She asked our preference in seating and escorted us to the table. She introduced us to our servers Edgar and Sarah. I can't say enough about the care and meticulous service the provided. One of the best teams I have ever had. Chef Jorge Rivera provided us with his outstanding queso and chips . Wow what a start! We each ordered Fajitas, One chicken only One combination beef and chicken. Every morsel was savory. Looking around at the food being served to nearby tables confirmed that a return visit was definitely in order. I highly recommend this all Texas unique dining restaurant. When in Las Colinas, make sure to stop here. The bar is huge and well stocked. See you there!

Walking into this joint is quite the place. Felt like I was walking into a spread on 40,000 acres. Service was kind and spot on. Had the Chicken Fried Steak with Jalapeno sausage gravy and had whipped potatoes and creamed Cajun corn as my two sides. So tasty. Lightly breaded and crispy batter steak that was nice and tender. Potatoes were nice and creamy. The creamed Cajun corn was amazing. Still had chunks where they cut off from the cob. Oh so tasty. Also had a great starter with Chef favorite four. We had onion rings, fried green tomatoes, queso with warm tortillas as well as two elk tacos. The elk meat was so tender and a great barbacoa flavor for the crispy taco!!!! This place has so many choices to eat. Will be going back to this joint!!!

The Ranch does it again!!! I dined here for brunch for the first time, and it was nothing short of amazing! We received the BEST service and sat on the patio in the shade, enjoying the beautiful weather. We had the blueberry biscuits with lemon sauce--when I tell you it was so good, I've never had anything like it! It was warm, buttery, and fluffy, and the lemon sauce took it to the next level. We also participated in the $30 Cowgirl Dinner for Women's History. You get a martini, Caesar salad, fries, and steak! Everything was seasoned to perfection, and we topped it off with mimosas. I can't wait to dine there again!

Great service, great drinks, and such a nice atmosphere overall! We came by during lunchtime, so next time we definitely want to come back for dinner. Everything was really enjoyable and honestly brought me back to Dallas in the best way. Looking forward to coming back!

This place was PACKED! Customer service at the bar was fantastic and definitely a highlight of the visit. As for the food, the shrimp and grits had more of a tomato-based flavor than I expected. I also wish there had been more grits in the bowl--especially for $19. It was a large bowl but pretty minimal on the actual portion. I originally came for the bread pudding, so it was disappointing that they didn't have any available. I ended up trying the carrot cake instead, which was pretty good, though it didn't seem like it was made in-house.

Food was delicious, nothing was wrong with anything! The drinks are strong which is amazing. Service was quick, very professional. Felt like a fancy barn. Crowd is bougie so if you're not dressed decent you will feel so lol. Not California expensive but close. 2 steaks, 4 margaritas, 2 sides came out to $230

Nice place. I stopped at The Ranch restaurant in Irving on a Tuesday night, and the entire place was packed, which was definitely unexpected. The space is beautiful, and the service was truly attentive. Their double cheeseburger is exceptionally good, and the bread is super tasty. Overall, it's a fun atmosphere, and I look forward to returning. Five stars.

Came here famished & exhausted from an early flight. Good thing it was a Thursday around 3-ish that we were here so we did not have to wait. Ambiance was amazing! Aside from the holiday decors, the local feel if Texas is there. The staff was great! I thought it was only ours but whoever you talk to has that cheerful spirit thst is not forced. Food was excellent! I ordered the catfish and shrimp plate and side salad. Oh my, the dressing was light and the meal was on point. We had to order dessert even though we were stuffed and both if our orders hit the spot. Unfortunately we did not get to try their cocktails because we were all exhausted. Highly recommend this place and would definitely he back when given the chance.

Party of 7, big order--Cowboy Feast, ribeye, drinks, desserts--the works. Food and vibe were amazing. Had a little accident with steak drippings, but the service was next level. GM came by, offered dry cleaning, and treated us to a dessert tray. That's how you do hospitality.

I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. What an experience. I dined at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse for my first dinner after landing in Dallas…read moreand it set an impossibly high bar for the rest of my meals during my Dallas trip. The food and service here is absolutely incredible. That said, given how pricey the meal is, you'll certainly want to reserve this meal for celebrations and special occasions. Between the four in our party, we shared the following: jumbo lump crab cakes ($36.95), prime tomahawk ($194.95), prime New York strip 14oz ($64.95), jumbo asparagus ($17.95), roasted wild mushrooms ($21.95), creamed spinach ($17.95), and a New York-style cheesecake ($18.00) for dessert to share. If you're a wine enthusiast, there's a Bible sized wine menu available here to thumb through. Our server made it a point to emphasize the scale and expansiveness of their wine list. The list goes on and on -- covering every imaginable region of the world and year, and as a casual wine drinker, I was simply overwhelmed. However, if you're looking for cocktails instead, any "standard" cocktail you can think of is available. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was stiff, yet nicely balanced. Moving on to the food, I have never had crab cakes as good as the ones here -- this appetizer is a must order. Most crab cakes I've had have too much bread crumb fillers and tend to be a bit bland. The ones here contain generous amounts of large, chunky crab meat, are well-seasoned, and are perfectly fried. The tomahawk steak is a serious show-stopper. If there's one cut to order, it's this one. Carved table-side, you really get to appreciate the size and beauty of this cut of meat. The meat is expertly cut off from the bone, and I love the distribution of rendered fat on each piece of meat. Some steakhouses offer a bunch of different sauces and dips to go with the meat, but none of that is available here: you're here for the meat, and you can truly appreciate the flavor and quality of the dry-aged meat in its purest form. All you really need is some salt and you've got the perfect bite. The steak here is delicious; no notes. Although the steak is the clear star of the show at Pappas Bros., the sides cannot be skipped over (not that you'd want to, given how delicious everything sounds). I was tempted to order the large tower of golden onion rings that many other tables seemed to be ordering, but ultimately settled on some of the other vegetable offerings. The creamed spinach is rich and decadent. One order is easily enough for a group to share. The jumbo asparagus is honestly some of the longest and largest spears of asparagus I've ever seen. They had a nice snappy bite to them. Although you'll probably be absolutely stuffed by the end of your meal, I encourage you to order at least a dessert to split. Although I only had a chance to try the New York-style cheesecake, it's something I would happily order again. The gargantuan size of the slice of cheesecake is enough for a group of 8 to split. Like everything else on the menu, the cheesecake is rich. I appreciate that the cake itself was not overly sweet. The whipped cream on top was light and fluffy. If you're looking for a steakhouse in Dallas with quality food, drinks and service, look no further than Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. Closing note: there is no dress code that's enforced.

The food looked good (as shown in the pictures below, but don't be fooled) Complete disappointment. I say this as someone who worked for a restaurant group of high end restaurants for many years.

Third time here now. Weeknight and had to wait a bit to get seated but it wasn't that completely…read morefull. All the parking garages around were pretty full though! It was SOOOO LOUD though. just so many people and loud. Hard to have a conversation. Got the crab cake salad ($34). The crab cake itself was legit. The salad part was an interesting set up since they just had the crab cake on the side and then the salad on the side. I really liked it! Tried one of the sushi rolls and it was interesting that they added some olive oil and citrus?? when it wasn't specified on the menu at all.. I liked the roll though. It will run you $20+ for one. It's big but I also feel like you would need to order a side if you wanted to make that your main entree. And paying for 2 sushi rolls at that price point is steep. The lobster roll looked good? very saucy though. A lot of the stuff on the menu is market price like the filet, risotto etc.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.
