Quintessential diner vibes for Concord. Though the prices slightly exceed diner territory, that's just the world we live in these days. Sad! The food is consistently delicious and satisfying, and I love being able to frequent an establishment where I can start my meal with onion rings or poutine and then dine on a buffalo chicken omelet with sourdough. I even once dabbled with the Newton Burger, but my oh my that was too much red meat for me to negotiate in one sitting. In my opinion, an overwhelming advantage of the 24-hour service is being able to roll up in the middle of the night to crush a DinahMite Bursting (it seems they have removed the 4x4. fs in the chat) with your best buds. Not impressed. We walked in all happy and dandy and we come across a hostess who tells us to "pick any seat" and we're like " ight cool" and then we order. The waitress was super skeptical with the four of us ( we're 18 ) we order 4 different flavored milkshakes and we get a "" After waiting 30 minutes for a few milkshakes I'm happy as can be and look down to see a HAIR in my milkshake. Even staff were complaining. A business needs to maximize revenue. This was just pathetic, holding seated customers hostage is bad management. Ordered a hamburger meal at the counter. Nothing fancy. After over 10 minutes watching other tables get served I had the audacity to ask my server Jennifer if it was on its way out yet. (Mistakes happen, orders get missed, whatever). She brings it over and says " 13 minutes isn't bad"... Then when I was done, Jennifer looked over and clearly saw my plate was clean and my card was out, ready to pay. Apparently my punishment for asking about the order is that she walked past without acknowledging that I was ready and made me wait extra time. The slip was already done and on her side of the counter. (I saw her put it there when I ordered). Would have taken 3 seconds to give me my slip and run it. I love the diner(s), and will be back. It was just okay. I ordered the chicken tender meal but the food lacked any sort of flavor. The dipping sauce it came with was awful. It tasted like orange juice concentrate. The French toast was good. I don't think it was anything worth returning for and there are certainly better options elsewhere. We've always wanted to try it here and were told such great things. We visited here for the first time, my kids ordered a kids breakfast, the potatoes were cold and soft (like they had been sitting out or microwaved and then left to sit out) bacon was good, zero seasoning. I ordered the hot honey chicken and waffles. It was one of the worst "meals" of my life. It was $14 included 4 small chicken tenders on 4 small waffles. They were drenched in honey sprinkled with a few red pepper flakes. No side. It was more like an appetizer than a meal. I couldn't even finish one. We have found that the prices are much higher than other places around, and the quality of the food is average at best. My daughter and my 3 grandsons and I walked in at 11:20 am. There was one other family ahead of us (also with 3 children but one adult. They were seated before us. Other people were seated before us .Even people walking in were seated before us. We still waited patiently. After nearly an hour and countless people being seated, I finally approached the waitress and asked her how much longer because at this point my grandsons were complaining about how hungry they were and becoming restless.. First time using Doordash, ordered a burger, a steak and cheese and a shake. When my order arrived, i found the shake was missing. I called Red Arrow, as I thought thst would be what i should do, and was told by an extremely snotty woman that i had to contact Doordash. I will admit here that i returned her attitude. I tried to contact Doordash and neither my driver or anyone else would answer. Ok, i lost a shake, so now im paying $63 for a burger and a sub, but it happens. I opened my steak and cheese and gou d it full of onions, peppers and mushrooms. Now, that is how it is described, but when you order, you have the option of checking or not checking any of those toppings. I am allergic to onions, and didnt want any toppings, so i did not check any of them. I called Red Arrow again and asked to speak to a manager. I was eventually connected to a shift leader. I was upset but not not being rude. She said they could write my name in a book and give me a free shake next time I come in. I told her I would not be coming back in and she hung up on me. So i took my steak bomb and went up there and asked to speak to the shift leader. She had an attitude right away, maybe because i identified myself as the person she just hung up on. She made me another shake, and told me that the steak bomb comes with those toppings. I asked why there were options to choose them, and she said it wasnt their website, but Doordashes. One very nice young waitress came over and started trying to help me with contacting Doordash on my phone. I appreciated that as i was a first time user. Then the shift leader hands me my shake and is just being so bitchy. At this point, I became bitchy to her. The minute I walked in, she was acting like i was some security threat because i was angry. I told her she was a bitch and that the young waitress was very nice which i appreciated. She yold me i had to leave, which i did. The waitress asked if i wanted my sandwich and i told her that im allergic to onions so i couldnt eat it and sled it across the cou ter to the shift leader. Ive had bad service there before, but tried again and had a decent server, but this is too much. I dont appreciate people being pissy to me when i was not even angry at first. Food was really good. Everything was cooked right (that's a big one for me) The staff was friendly and right there for us. If you like to be nosy and people watch. Stopped at this cute diner on our way to the airport and was pleasantly surprised! Don't let the attached gas station fool you, the diner is cozy and has a nostalgic feel. Our waitress, Erika was kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I recommend the famous chicken and rice soup, the famous chicken tenders and the build your own cheeseburger option. Red Arrow Diner is located in Concord, NH. We stopped here moving north from Boston during a snow storm. The menu is typical NH diner food. There's a large selection and the prices are fairly cheap. They offer breakfast literally all day long- they are a 24H diner! When you walk in there's a case showcasing several large pieces. Supposedly they're amazing, but unfortunately we only tried the eclairs- which was huge! I thought it was a whoopie pie. I ordered the Oreo frappe. It was thick and very creamy. It was so large that I was only able to drink perhaps only 3/4 of it. The diner also offers strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, mint, and mudpie. My boyfriend ordered the stuffed hash. It's a typical hash filled with bacon and cheese. It was topped with two eggs and sour cream. There was also a side of toast. It was a lot of food! Overall, we enjoyed the Red Arrow Diner. It was a classic diner feeling and the menu is quite large. I highly recommend trying a frappe. read more

Food is great, place is clean, and it's very fairly priced! The only issue is flies buzzing around constantly, because the door is always opening. Really wish they would put some fly traps around! Went in for the first time with my wife and father for a quick meal. The greater seated us at the bar and we received our water and that was it. We never got a menu and even asked the server in front of us if we were going to get served and she just shrugged and went to talk to another employee. We waited another 20 minutes while others were getting served who had arrived after us. I guess they thought we weren't locals so we left. Half the counter was open as was 40% of the tables, which weren't being seated because staff couldn't handle the demand. Many people walked away. Witnessed a girl who had to go to the hospital because of an allergic reaction (note: unclear if it was the kitchen's fault, but seemed so). I'd give this spot a year or 5 before giving it a try. The Red Arrow Diner is now open on Loudon Road in Concord, across from McDonald's. This 24/7 diner is what Concord really needed serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts anytime! There hasn't been a real full service diner in Concord in a very long time since the Capital City Diner where the Common Man sits now. The Red Arrow Diner Concord had their grand opening to the public on Friday July 14. The place was very busy over the weekend due to the newness in Concord and it was NASCAR race weekend too! The 50s style diner/Mobil station building is brand new, which sits on the former Katmandu/Sunoco and older Mobil gas station sites. The layout inside is L-shaped with booths and tables along the windows and counter stool seating. The menu offerings and blue plate specials are the same as the other locations. I can get my favorite Chicken Cacciatore dinner here anytime close to work now! The layout here seems more modern compared to the original Manchester location. There is also a glass case of pies and cakes near the front entrance. I stopped for breakfast recently on a typical weekday morning. The place was not busy at 6:30 am and I sat up at the counter. I ordered the Beans Toast & Cup 'O Moe ($3.99) and the Pork Pie Dinner ($9.99) served with two side choices (I chose a side salad and hash browns). The Cup 'O Moe was served hot and just right. The side salad came out shortly, which had simple leaf lettuce, shredded cheese, tomato, cucumber, and dressing on the side. The beans & buttered wheat toast and Pork Pie with brown gravy & hash browns arrived next. The beans here are a favorite of mine, which are firm, saucy and have a sweet flavor. The pork Pie was filling with a salty taste as expected. The shredded hash browns we're grilled nicely. The service was good, though the staff is still on a learning curve and trying to get used to the computerized register system. My waitress trained at the Londonderry location. When I received my check, the items ordered were correct, but the prices were not consistent with the posted menu prices. The Pork Pie dinner rang up at $9.25 (supposed to be $9.99) and the Beans Toast & Cup 'O Moe rang up at $6.99 (supposed to be $3.99). The manager adjusted the check and gave me a discount comping the Beans Toast & Cup 'O Moe and keeping the $9.25 price for the Pork Pie Dinner. Also, 10 percent off discounts are given to military, state workers, and students with ID. So far so good for Red Arrow Diner in Concord! The food I had was solid good, but please fix the prices in the computer to reflect the posted menu prices. My Yelp friend Wayne was overcharged double at $6.99 plus tax for a breakfast sandwich in the drive thru at Red Arrow in Londonderry, which should be $3.49 plus tax. It is a good idea to figure out the prices (documented) before paying (shouldn't be this way), otherwise unsuspecting patrons may be overpaying and not know it. I would expect diner will be a great addition to the local dining choices open 24/7, joining McDonald's across the street. read more

Went to the Red Arrow diner yesterday for the first time in about 2 years. Waitress was wonderful - she was very pleasant. But that is the only good thing about the place. Food was horrible. Order turkey club sandwich and the turkey while it was real turkey was gross. Large round ball of fatty dark meat turkey that was full of fat and tendons. Nearly made me puke! Was not about to eat that at all. Very sad that the chefs actually sent that out as a meal to a customer. That turned my stomach and I will never go back. Additionally, the place is already run down...booths are all ripped with holes in them and dirty. Needs a lot of TLC! Went for a late 4:00 lunch last week, only 3 other customers in the place. Nice decor and pies look great, super clean restaurant BUT the waitress was slow as cold molasses, the chef must have been stoned because it took about 30 minutes for a couple of simple entrees, and the food was bland. Definitely won't bother to go back. Just too expensive for the quality of the food and service. This was our second time there, went once last year late at night and it was much better but this time it was pathetic. We decided to eat here on our last night in NH. This diner looks a lot nicer than the one in Manchester. The diner isn't large, but it's still roomy and has enough space for everyone. The place follows a primarily red and white color scheme that only has booths and a large counter for seating. The diner's mascots, which are two mugs that have faces, hang on the back walls as some contributing light sources. There's an adjoining door that leads you to to a convenience store and gas station. We were immediately seated upon arrival and Rachel was our server. Hubs ordered Liver, Bacon and Onions from Dinah's Small Plates section. It came with one side and we chose corn. He thought that the meal reminded him of his late father, which was good, but he said the meal itself was ok. Daughter ordered Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes (sauce on the side) and broccoli. She liked it and thought it was good. Finally, I ordered the Famous American Chop Suey. It also came with a side of garlic toast. Rachel asked if I wanted provolone cheese with that but I said no. It was delicious! I know that it was only elbow macaroni with tomato sauce and ground beef but it tasted great. Reminded me of my childhood! I completely forgot that this was Guy Fieri's favorite until I saw the menu. Glad I got to try it! Rachel was really friendly and attentive. We told her that we would like our daughter's order to be served immediately because she was approaching low blood sugar and she delivered. After much anticipation, the Red Arrow Diner opened its Concord location. I hoped that by waiting a few weeks after it opened, the wait for a table wouldn't be quite as long. We went on a Sunday morning at about 9:30, and still had a half hour wait for a booth. We waited outside, but since the door faces east, it was too hot to just wait in the sun. So we waited on the north side of the building, and after 30 minutes, I checked to see where we were on the list. I guess the good news was that we had missed being called (so the wait was really less than originally estimated). They put us at the top of the list so we only waited about 5 minutes more. I hope they work out how they call people to their tables a little better, or I guess we should have waited closer to the door. Once we were seated, our server was great--very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for coffee. Our food was what I expected--nothing out of the ordinary, just good breakfast food at a reasonable price. I had the 2x2x2--2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 French Toast (you can also get pancakes instead of French Toast, and 2 bacon instead of sausage). I asked for eggs over easy, and they were done just right. Overall, the experience was positive. I made a comment to our server that I cleaned my plate, and he came back with a 'Clean Plate Award' sticker! Nice touch! Have been here a few times - food isn't bad, the problem comes when they get busy (and they often are). They go on astronomical waits and it's just not worth it. Service totally falls apart at that point too! Came in on Friday morning at 1015 for Labor Day weekend. There were several seats open by the bar but was told there was a 24 minute wait. I waited 25 minutes for the exact seats I had seen open when I first walked in. We sat down, had been there several times (like referenced) and knew exactly what we wanted. Placed our order and waited... and waited... and waited. Our server at one point said your food should be right up one time when she brushed past us, so we waited... and waited... and waited. Finally on one instance when she was bolting last us, we asked her for a time on the food (we were already past 30 minutes of waiting). She left and stopped to have a nice five minute conversation with a co worker before returning to us to tell us it would be another 10 to 15 minutes of waiting. We left. We told her it was the worst experience we had ever had there and all she said was, "well the kitchen got really backed up" never so much as offered an apology.
