Great food and always fresh, Don't expect a fast food service as your food is being prepared from scratch so enjoy your company and relax . The only complaint i have is the lack of signage outside so its a little tricky to spot. Came to this restaurant based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. 3 people on a Monday night with live music beginning at 8 pm. Wide variety of food on the menu from burgers to great pizza. Appetizers and desserts. If you are in the mood for BBQ, try the meatloaf sandwich or BBQ pizza. There is also a black bean burger with sweet potatoes fires that is fantastic. The only complaint we have is the service. Everyone was very nice, but the service was slow. People were lining up at the door and not being acknowledged. I really wanted to like this place. It is charming, but the service was bad. It took a long time to be approached by server. We ordered everything at once bc we'd had so long to look at the menu. Our appetizer arrived before our beers. No mugs were offered with our bottled beers. The description of the grilled cheese was amazing, but it was a huge disappointment. The sides weren't even buttered and grilled. It has grill lines burned into the dry bread, so it was basically stale bread - not even toasted. There was astonishingly little cheese in it. Complete disappointment. I would have returned it, but I didn't want to risk embarrassing our dinner guests. My husband's burger was dry and overdone. The fries were good. The oyster/sausage burger was good. The service continued to be substandard. No one checked on us after our food arrived. No one asked if we needed more drinks. It wasn't particularly busy because we were there around 6, so I cannot even justify the service based on the crowd. It's a shame. read more

Love this place! Haven't had anything I didn't like so far. Chipotle quesadillas were fat and delicious, not too spicy, just a slight kick. (I'm not usually a spicy OR a chipotle fan, so these were perfect). Next is my favorite part--the reason I go here--THE BEST CAESAR SALAD EVER ON EARTH! (Side salad). Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you walk in the door till you leave, you won't be disappointed. We were there on a Saturday night and were lucky to get there early enough that we didn't have to wait for a table (yes, it's that good). They offer a variety of different on tap beers from all over the country (and the world occasionally). The food menu is a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it! I had the shepherds pie and others in my party had the Greek pizza, pepperoni pizza, hatch chile enchiladas and pulled pork nachos. We all tried each other's food and no one had any complaints! I shared the brownie for dessert with a friend. Oh and the service was also great! It made the whole experience one of the best I've had since moving to the area. My sister and I found ourselves here. It was a cute little place. We walked in and stood by the entrance for about 2 min before someone came to seat us. The whole time we were here it felt like the whole room was staring at us. The waitress was nice but not as attentive as she was to others around us. We ordered the cornbread, it came out almost immediately and it wasn't warm at all. It looked burnt and it was HARD! It looked like it was sitting for a few hours. It did have a good flavor though and the cinnamon butter helped it out tremendously. I ended up getting a pizza...it was ok nothing special about, not special enough to even remember the name. All I know is that it had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives. We had no napkins or silverware. It wasn't a bad experience, we just felt very uncomfortable. I did however love that they had live entertainment, I love listening to new artists and someone people never heard of. I'm an out of town visitor, I read the reviews and I was in the mood for a beer and a burger. They were busy as it was prime time on a Thursday night. I was alone and there was one small table available so that worked out good. The restaurant is set in an old building on a street filled with businesses in older buildings, giving it a nice, quaint feel. Close to my home we have a city (Stillwater, MN) with a similar setup. If executed properly, customers will gladly pay for a quality experience. The downside is they charge way more than they're worth to provide this homey, nostalgic feel... The Red Brick certainly lived up to that assessment. Mediocre, overpriced food and drinks. I got a specialty beer served in a kiddie glass with a big boy price tag. It was served in a lowball glass. When my server brought it, I thought it was a sampler. There wasn't a price on the menu, but it turned out to be $6.50. My Blue Burger was bland. How can you have a supposedly brisket based burger, home made bun with Gorgonzola cheese, onion, and Applewood Smoked Bacon and be bland? It was overcooked and I don't believe they seasoned it. The burger came with a slice of tomato (on a limp piece of Romaine) that was a pathetic piece of rock hard unripe heel. The server must have realized this, as she was making excuses before she set the plate down and then said she would bring a better slice. She did return with 2 more slices of rock hard, flavorless tomatoes. I'm from Minnesota, so I realize you can't get a good tomato this time of year, sort of. I ordered regular fries and it came with the sweet potato fries, cold, I might add. Apparently the manager was going to come over and talk to me about the issues apparent to the server, but never did show up. I really wasn't there expecting to complain as I could have gone anywhere in town to eat. With the 20% they knocked off the bill for the fry mix up it came to $18.44 for a small beer and a burger. We waited 45" an then found that we didn't have time I eat because their kitchen could only serve 4 of the 20 of us at a time because of "plating" issues.
