While the food, service and atmosphere are all good here they charge $1.00 extra for more chips and .25 for each tortilla. Tea is highly priced. I hate any restaurant nickle and diming me. TexMex is good at many places and should be good and plenty cauz we are SA. I can go other places and will!

Still an ok place but not what it used to be. Their brunch buffet used to be so much better. It lacks so much now and items were replaced with fried garbage. Still a decent price. Still nice to sit on the patio. Staff is attentive and very polite but the quality of food has taken a significant hit. Sad to see. However don't take my word for it you go see.

    Ajuua Famous Fish Tacos

I've been to Ajuua Mexican Grill several times, but this is my first review. On this visit, we ordered the Enchiladas de Ajuua with seasoned ground beef, served with Mexican rice and refried beans. The enchiladas were solid Tex-Mex--well-seasoned beef with a zesty sauce that really hit the spot. The rice and beans were tasty, well cooked, and reminded me of good homemade comfort food. We also tried the Ajuua Famous Fish Tacos. The tortillas were soft and pliable, holding the well-seasoned fish and fresh produce nicely. The chipotle crema was excellent and added a lot of flavor. The black beans were also well seasoned and cooked just right, which I really enjoyed. It's no surprise that I recommend Ajuua Mexican Grill. I've been here multiple times and usually make a stop whenever I'm in the area.

Great patio and service! Nice establishment with very tasty salsa, freshly roasted, and crispy chips to dip. Drink specials every day as well as tasty food. Sundays, they offer brunch and mimosa flights $8. Margaritas are tasty, nice liquor choices at the bar. They also have a party room that seats 30 people. Friendly staff. My only complaint is Pepsi products and I prefer Coke. Patio is my favorite. Plenty of parking also.

We enjoyed the Valentine's Day dinner here tonight. We've been here before but we tried new items: queso flameado, Pollo en Salsa, Carne Estilo Ajuua and choco flan. I also had a cucumber margarita. It was an amazing value. Jesus provided amazing service. He was kind and funny and ensured that we enjoyed our meal.

We had our work Christmas party here on the patio. It was a pleasant evening and the food was delicious. The waitresses were wonderful and quick to refill drinks and bring anything we needed. I had requested Cheese enchiladas, black beans, and Spanish rice. I am not a fan of green sauces, but this one was good. The waitresses were excellent and knew exactly what ingredients were in each dish, to avoid for allergies. Try the "El Jefe" drink - it was great!

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

This place hits the mark on everything when it comes to breakfast…read more We had the standard huevos rancheros and the huevos benitos. Both were solid, especially the huevos benitos. I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.
