We tried the Chef's choice (don't remember the name) but it was around $30/person and really worth it! We got the olives and the squash fries which were both delicious and a nice way to start the meal. We then got the Pork Belly, our waitress asked if there was anything in particular we wanted to try, which was really great! It had some pickled onions and fried garlic that made it just a bit more interesting. We then got the Potato+Herbed Pistou pizza. Loved whatever peppers/chili oil they used on it. And for dessert they gave us the s'mores to share. All and all we got 2 appetizers, 1 main, 1 pizza and a dessert that were all interesting and tasty for $60. Really a great deal. The rooftop itself is very nice and a nice place to do a little people watching. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional. Do not waste your time trying to go here. We were told to wait an hour and we did and never heard from them, kept waiting. We were so hungry and after an hour and 10 minutes they told us they can't seat us at all. Shame on them for lying and misleading the client. My friends and I stumbled on this place while looking for a late lunch downtown. With all dining taking place outside, mostly on sidewalks, The Rooftop was a great retreat from noise and car exhaust. Most of the seating has some covering from the awnings, and the tables are nicely spaced out. To be honest we came with some serious doubts on whether the food would be any good, as many restaurants with prime locations lack interesting and quality dishes. But our doubts were quickly put to rest when the giant bowl of shishito peppers, perfectly cooked with a yummy lemon aioli sauce, was served. And it just kept getting better from there. They have nice cocktails and although the bar and spirit section isn't extensive they have a quality selection. The heirloom tomato salad and the seafood plate I think were the star dishes for us. The tomatoes are in season and the dressing was delicious. Plus, our server Ali was fantastic! Very attentive and gracious. We will definitely recommend and return next time we're in the area. read more

Very disappointed. Was a local in healdsburg for 10+ years. I had recently moved out of state in 2023 to Nevada and was very excited to bring my family here as I frequented this place for over 2 years. The vibe has changed completely. I remember the servers and bartenders being extremely knowledgeable and happy to help. I brought my family in the other night with a ton of excitement as it's been a while. To say I was let down is an understatement. The service staff seemed to know absolutely nothing about the drinks or liquor on hand and couldn't answer any questions about the food. I had asked one person a couple questions about the food and he didn't even speak English! The manager seemed to be very uninvolved and I thought that was weird. I remember we had known man named Ryan who was great and always took amazing care of us. Lastly, I had asked one of the servers about what has changed and why it's so different. She said that the manager has completely replaced the old staff and is looking to improve the rooftop experience. While I understand that view, I think that the exact opposite has happened. Unfortunately I will not be returning and I will no longer recommend this place to friends and family. I hope The Rooftop can figure it out and return to the amazing place it once was. read more

Rooftop bars always win my love and this one didn't fail me! We came for a happy hour drink and enjoyed 2 wines (reg $12-13, HH price was $7) and got the only HH beer choice for $5 instead of $8. Good deals there! Not an AMAZING view of anything really, but the sky was blue and the sun was out and it was beautiful because of that! It was hot though! No breeze made for a hot time up there and no dans for us either. I kept wishing it was later in the day- I can inly imagine this place being better at night! I can't wait to try it again! It's on the 4th floor of the hotel. Easily accessed through main hotel lobby, take elevator right up and it's on your right as you exit elevator. Service was great! He kept refilling our waters even though there was a jug on the table for us to do it ourselves and we said we were just there for a drink AKA we're easy and don't need anything. But he kept letting us know he was there for us in case we changed our minds too but not in an annoying way- service was perfect! read more

We were very hungry and last minute popped in here, were quickly seated and ordered their tuna tartare, which though not intrinsically bad, many people will like the flavors. I find it to be closing full of soy and muddled, rather than bright clean explosive flavors. Their guacamole, on the other hand, was absolute fire--loved it: huge chunks of avocado with jalapeño, onion, cilantro, and green chili with some edible lavender flowers top, Vibrant with huge rounds tortilla chips. The portion was a bit small but all forgiven due to the outstanding flavors. The "Caesar" salad with grilled chicken was awful. Inedible. I detected zero anchovy or lemon. Zero acidity and the dressing was oddly grainy, not at all creamy. No tang. No zip. No spark. Nothing. The grilled chicken was stringy and flavorless, insipid. I took a few bites and called it a day, asked for the bill and left. Our service was efficient and friendly, the ambience exactly as advertised: on a rooftop :-) The prices would've been fine ... had I been able to eat the Caesar. read more

As expected you get some nice views up there, especially of the Eastern Hills of Geyserville. Atmosphere is nice, there are several tables as well as seating along the ledge looking out. Drinks were good, The Citrus had Hanson Ginger Vodka, Spiced Pear Liqueur, Lemon Juice. The Sparkling had Griffo Gin, Strawberry Liqueur, Lemon Juice, Cardamon Bitters, Roederer Sparkling Wine. It goes without saying that the ambience of rooftop venues always kick ass. Mix that ambience with attentive, friendly staff and good food, and you've got a winner in my book. My date and I showed up on a Saturday at about 6-ish. There was a wait of around 20 minutes, which flew by because the host gave us complimentary champagne while we relaxed on a comfortable couch in a room off to the side. I find it rare these days that places make you feel special and taken care of, so I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of our experience. We shared a chicken caesar salad, sliders, and fries. Everything had great flavor and tasted like quality food. I'm blanking on the drink I got, but I believe it was a bourbon and spiced pear drink or something of the sort, which was also delicious. The "rooftop" which is on the 4th floor offers a well-curated and memorable dining experience that we will pine for again and again. Service is impeccable and yet friendly, thoughtfully well-orchestrated but never imposing. The food portions are on the very generous side of San Sebastian Pintxos, and are meant to be shared. We had the YELLOWFIN TUNA TARTAR, SHISHITO PEPPERS, GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD, and SPICY MUSSELS, CHORIZO, WITH FOCACCIA. We also had generous by-the-glass pours of Rose and Riesling, as well as a bracingly spicy MEZCAL MARGARITA to round out our truly memorable meal. Was busy when I arrived--4 floors up in a hip trendy 'guesthouse' or boutique hotel in non hipster terms. Loved the man who greeted me. Said it's full but please go be comfy in the lobby...ok. And he promptly brought me a cold sparkling rose. Very ok!!! Except for the teenage boys manning the front desk...nice enough but playing some you tube or TikTok that distracted from the ambience and the cool lounge music chosen by the management (which I happen to love). Shortly I was summoned and given a nice table in the late sun. A gorgeous and very sweet waitress brought me samples of red wine and yum--here I am w a good book. It's not too loud. It's lovely. Waited for a spot on the roof for a few minutes (it was busy because it's one of the few good spots open on a Tuesday night) and the host was so cool that he gave us a free glass of Rosè while we waited. He sat us in a great spot and our server Aiden was over shortly. The wine selection has all of my local favorites, and the food menu is short and simple. I ordered the crab roll which was good and the shrimp ceviche tostadas to go which we're really, really good! I tried to go back to get some the next day, but they were closed (it was really that good). To drink I had the sparkling (cool) and the Ravenous (not my fav). I thought it was another complimentary drink, but it was on my bill...I just paid it no problem. For desert I had the Ricotta Doughnuts. I can't say I was dissatisfied nor disappointed with the service received at The Rooftop located in Healdsburg. The specialty cocktails were artistically hand crafted and mixed with the utmost care and precision. Masterfully crafted cocktails to say the least. Now I do not drink but I could tell just by watching the mixologist go to town on the drinks he was making that these cocktails were the real deal. I also interviewed the recipient of the cocktails sampled. "Very well balanced" were some of the choice words used to describe the final product. Unfortunately their truffle fries did fall very short of my expectations. The fries did not have even the slightest hint of truffle infused oil AT ALL, and they were relatively bland. It was very apparent from that moment forward that perhaps I would reserve this particular venue for a cocktail night out. Truffle fries are not hard to make, matter of fact it's probably the easiest thing you can throw together and receive endless praise for if you make them correctly. You simply throw some French fries in the fryer, then toss them in truffle infused oil, salt & pepper, Parmesan, BOOM! You have something that has the same effect as garlic bread at a dinner table. If these guys fell short on something so simple as an order of truffle fries that leaves me to question how I would react to the rest of the food items. Nonetheless the ambiance, service, location, and atmosphere were all above and beyond California Summer. It was gorgeous and that is primarily what my rating reflects. read more

The food was enjoyable. At check in we were asked if we preferred indoor by the open doors or outside with the "misters" on We opted for first available. The problem was, the doors were closed and it was as hot as a sauna in there. We asked for the doors to be open and our hostess said they needed them closed to turn on the air-co. Didn't work. Another person finally opened the wall-to-wall doors but we were all too wilted to relax and enjoy the meal. Hot summer issues need to be figured out. I believe it was 104 inside. We will definitely go back on a more comfortable day. read more

Came here because of a friend's recommendation. Beautiful rooftop patio restaurant above the Harmon hotel. Right off the downtown square. Nice views of the hills and comfortable lounge style seating or small dining tables. We got a great seat easily (walk in only) for 2 of us and our dog. The staff were very kind and welcoming and even brought ice water for our dog. Really enjoyed the wines we tried. Nice small plates as well. I liked the music and appreciated that it was not too loud - you don't have to yell to have a conversation over it. Would certainly come back next time we're in town! read more

It might be good First as we tried to walk in, we were told rudely we can't just take a table, we have to be seated. We apologized as we did miss the sign, but it was a disappointing response from staff member. We got back to reception desk and she immediately asked us to follow her to our seats. I don't know why she didn't just seat us when we were there the first time. She wasn't much friendlier and it was a pretentious environment. We looked at menu and it is way overpriced for both drinks and food. We were just looking for a drink and app before dinner.
