I can see it for tables of 6 or 8, etc. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's the principal of the matter.

Sound acoustics are excellent. One of the best venues in Phoenix area for sound quality. Parking can be challenging and frustrating. Frankly I have given up on parking in downtown Phoenix and prefer to ride the light rail from Gateway CC for free. Your game or event ticket is your light rail pass as well. We go early, enjoy a nice meal and comfortable arrive at the venue on time. The security check was quick and efficient. The security personnel were friendly and courteous. The theater staff were also friendly and helpful in directing us to our seats. Food and drinks are expensive. We brought one sealed water bottle a piece with us per the venue's rules. The John Doe Folk Trio started the show, from Austin played for about 30 minutes, were engaging and entertaining. They had a Johnny Cash sound and vibe. They were followed by Lucinda Williams, played for about 45 minutes. Very nice show considering a recent stroke, an inspiring performance. Bob Dylan played for about 90 minutes. Very stoic with a dark back lit, shadowy setting. He performed a few classic but mainly performed new material. No video or photos allowed, strictly enforced. I was glad we were in the pit to get a good look at the legendary musician and song writer.

Oh what a way to spend Valentine's Day! Lots of laughs were had both times but Jimmy O Yang just tickles my funny bone a little more, haha! The Showroom is a great theater space inside Wild Horse Pass. There's a nice bar right outside so if you're planning to drink during the show, it's a more reasonably priced way to grab a drink. They have a bar inside The Showroom as well but get ready for the price mark-up. Bathrooms are on both levels and they both have speakers playing whatever feature is on so you don't have to worry about missing the show. No bad seats in the place so rest assured that you'll be able to find a good seat. Two thumbs up!

At the onset before the performance we were told that this would be the last concert of the season. The Chandler Center is going to get a renovation and probably will not be open until late October or early November. This Center houses a large venue and on this Saturday night it was pretty much a sold out crowd. When Pat Metheney came out he didn't waste any time and just started playing. The crowd was really into the music and so was I. The place has provisions for the handicapped and does allow for drinks during the performance. I really don't know what else to add other than the place is impressive. When it opens up again in the Autumn maybe take a look at what they have in the concert venue. I guess we got lucky to attend their last concert of the season.

For one of the events, I was able to find a spot without much trouble. For the other, I had to park on the street a few minutes away by foot. I guess it depends on how popular the event is. The venue itself is beautiful. Clean and modern with nice amenities. You get a program once you enter the theater, which I always appreciate. It's a good size-venue, but still small enough that it's intimate. My only real complaint? The seats are packed pretty close to each other, so you don't much shoulder room or leg room. A little too snug. Outside of that, and parking being a bit of a wild card, it's a phenomenal venue.

The floors are sticky enough to rip the soles off your shoes, the air smells like a mix of old cigarettes, sour mop water, and broken dreams, and the bathrooms are straight out of a horror movie. If you don't catch a staph infection here, consider yourself lucky. The drinks? Absolute garbage. Watered down, overpriced, and served in glasses that look like they haven't seen soap since the Bush administration. The bartenders couldn't care less -- they'd rather ignore you than make a drink worth drinking. The bouncers act like they're auditioning for a WWE villain role, puffing their chests at anyone who blinks the wrong way. And the crowd? Imagine every bad Tinder date you've ever had stuffed into one room with a soundtrack of off-key karaoke and a sound system that makes your ears beg for mercy. If you like fights breaking out over spilled beer and listening to drunk strangers scream into your face, congratulations -- you've found your paradise. Save yourself the misery. There are porta-potties at construction sites in Mesa that are more inviting than this dump.
