You don't come to The Row for the food. You come for the stories. This place is packed with Nashville history. Brooks met Dunn here. "Friends in Low Places" was reportedly traded to cover an open bar tab. If these walls could talk, half of Music Row would probably get nervous. The atmosphere is the star of the show. Live music. History. Classic Nashville vibes. The food, unfortunately, didn't live up to the setting. I ordered the meatloaf, and it reminded me of my mom's meatloaf growing up. That is not a compliment. It was overcooked, dry, and short on flavor. The kind of meatloaf that makes you wonder if gravy was invented specifically to rescue it. My wife fared better with her wedge salad and enjoyed it. In the end, The Row is a place I'd visit again for the music, history, and atmosphere. For the food? Not so much. Three stars.

We enjoyed our visit here on 6/5/26 for dinner. We had the catfish, 2 hot chicken (mild), and one stack burger. We really enjoyed our food. The server was friendly and fast. The mild was flavorful, 2/10 spicy, perfect for me. Indoor/outdoor open seating. Live singer was excellent. Free 2 hr parking in the lot.

A really good spot for brunch or lunch. I visited for lunch today and had a really good experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant has lots of seating and the decorations are mostly music themed. It creates a laid back vibe that's perfect for a casual meal. I really enjoyed the BBQ Turkey plate. I subbed hash brown casserole for fries. The turkey was flavorful and the portion size was perfect for lunch.

On a work trip and my hotel pointed me to this local favorite. It was a quiet Thursday night in the main dining room with some great music happening in the bar. I had the waiter step me thru their favorites and popular dishes. I started with their version of a Manhattan and it hit the spot. Bartender knows how to shake a cocktail. App tonight were the biscuits so I could take the left overs back to the hotel for breakfast tomorrow. My main - the Nashville hot chicken. Everything was delicious And I stayed after my meal to catch the live music in the bar. Glad my hotel pointed me this way. I'll be back here before I leave town.

Another view. Looks empty, was not. Creative cropping.

They have live music, which was fun. The decor was interesting and cozy seating is available. The wait staff was efficient and attentive. The food was yummy. I always enjoy a really good salad with protein. Both my friend and I had the kale salad. I had chicken, she had salmon. It was so good. Would definitely return.

Service was amazing, super friendly attentive staff. Came here for the brisket which was pretty good. The biscuit was flaky and soft, the gravy wasn't impressive. The bbq sauces on the table was good especially the hot thang sauce

We were immediately greeted and taken to our table. The ambiance is casual and they have open air seating on one side and a patio for outdoor seating. They share a pay lot for parking and its free for 2 hrs for their customers. The menu offers something for everyone brunch, lunch, dinner and appetizers. I had the Nashville hot which was amazing! This stack included a habanero corncake, topped w coleslaw and a hot honey deep fried boneless chicken breast on top. Came w fries, which the waiter then "highly recommends" their bacon queso to dip em in....ummm hell yes dude . Had fried pickles which were cut potato chip thin and lightly battered (which is my preference). Service was great and the waiter was knowledgeable with a witty sense of humor. Will def be back when nearby.

Live music was great! We sat at the bar for a few hours to enjoy it. The appetizer Row Poppers was incredible! The combination of bacon, pimento cheese, deep fried with honey drizzle - simply amazing! We took the beignets to go. (Can't wait to eat that later!). I also had a wedge salad cause who can pass up a great wedge?

We stopped into The Row for a quick bite and a drink. I was most excited to try the deviled eggs 5 ways. The ones with the pimento & the crispy bacon were my 2 favorites. I also enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with French fries. I ordered The Row beer at the top of the menu just to try it and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Our server was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed even though we came at an off time.

Midtown - The Row offered live music, friendly welcoming environment and bar & food. We enjoyed our time here with different music artist to grace the stage. Tennessee definitely offers some great talents. The Row was our first stop of night after checking in our hotel across the street and so glad it was just walking distance. Will definitely come back here the next time I'm back in town.

Got the Nashville hot chicken and it didn't disappoint but also didn't wow me. It was spicy in the way where it felt like there was an overload of spice on top to the point of it being a little bitter. The fries were PERFECT though. I don't remember the last time I got fries that look perfectly cut and fried without being soggy or too burnt. Lastly, our server Parker was great! My water was never low which was much appreciated for my spicy chicken. And he was so patient when I was trying to use Apple Pay and the machine kept erroring.

Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with a biscuit. Don't forget the biscuit.

I was looking for something that was not the ordinary chain restaurant. The row is definitely not the ordinary or chain restaurant. They've got a great menu that includes barbecue and steak and burgers and salmon and more. I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was cooked too perfection. Did I mention the biscuits? They make biscuits and jam from scratch in the restaurant. I haven't had a biscuit that good and I don't know how long. The peach jam was absolutely amazing. There was live music playing, which said a real nice vibe for Nashville. When you're there, don't be afraid to sit at the bar. If JD is there, she will take care of you with excellent service. I can see this place becoming a regular.

A really good brunch spot kind off the beaten path for Nashville. We got to come here this past weekend and I was very happy with everything we got. I ordered a mimosa to start and at the recommendation of our server, the Row poppers, so delicious. I ordered their Cowboy Bennie which was an eggs Benedict with their homemade bbq sauce on top, wow! My husband got their French toast with a side of sausage and eggs. The French toast was fluffy and delicious but he did the say the sausage was meh. All in all, I would recommend this as a spot to check out if you're in the area. Their menu is massive so you can find something for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Parking is a metropolis lot but they have a QR code for validation (although it didn't work for me :/) they're decorated for Christmas which added to the ambiance plus they have a stage on one side of the restaurant for live music!

    Brunch and live music?

    Absolutely!!!!!

Is outdoor seating available here? No reviews or pictures mentioning it in the last 2 years when it was most necessary.

i was here dec 2021, and i did not see outdoor seating.

Is there happy hour? And if there is what time does it start/end and what days of the week?

Two of one mimosas I know on Sunday mornings.

What nights is there live music?

Hello Kaitlyn, As everyone has mentioned we do have Live Music every night beginning at 6pm. Saturdays music begins at 2pm.

Is there an age restriction for sitting in the bar area where the musicians sing?

Not that I know of. When I was there last week there were families with children sitting in the bar area. You may want to call and double check that though.

This British pub gives you a nice break from the traditional Nashville chicken that permeates most of the menus in the city. Our larger party was seated in a private room, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We started with the Belhaven Beer Cheese and Fried Pickles. Being from Wisconsin, I'm used to beer cheese dip being served in the middle of a giant salted pretzel. Here, there were soft pretzel pieces and fresh veggies. Amazing. Healthy and indulgent! The pickles were hot and crunchy on the outside, and perfectly tender on the inside. The creamy dill sauce was the perfect accompaniment, and a nice change from the usual ranch. As a main meal, my husband had the Sausage Roll and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders (my first hot chicken experience in Nashville). The Sausage Roll was a nice take on the classic roll (which we've had in the UK), made of ground sausage instead of a full sausage link. It also came with two dipping sauces, since that's a classic American thing. The sliders were perfectly sized, and I liked that the honey was served on the side, so I could decide how much I wanted on each bite. Seating is available inside and out, so you can decide which way to enjoy your meal on a warm Tennessee day.

The food is solid pub food -- we've enjoyed everything we've tried here and really don't have any complaints. I don't find a Scotch Egg many places, so I usually order when I see on the menu. Love it.
