    Burger of the week special
    Emily Z.

We went for burger week and also ordered the brussel sprouts. The burger was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The brussel sprouts were definitely spicy but the goat cheese cut that and the bacon was a perfect amount of smokey. The staff was on point. I don't think our water glass went below 3/4. This is a quaint area of the Renaissance hotel. This would be a great spot before a TPAC show. We will definitely be back.

Had out of town guests staying at the Renaissance Hotel and I am glad they did cause this place was great! The mac and cheese was fantastic, the pork rinds really gave it a good crunch. It was so delicious and I finished every bite. They have a super cool wall full of Johnny Cash photos from when he was young. Another perk, Thursdays-Sundays (I believe), from 5-6 PM there are free cocktails if you show your ID. The restaurant chooses which cocktail to have for free that day. It was pretty cool. Convince your guests to stay here, and come to the restaurant!

Complimentary buffet is awesome! Great service, delicious coffee, made to order omelets, fresh fruit, baked goods ... perfect! Service was on point. In the evening they have live music. Comfortable setting, lots of great seating, it's bigger than it looks. The awesome buffet is hidden in the back left corner.

Loved the Little Fib! Little Fib is a restaurant and bar inside the Renaissance Nashville hotel. Had breakfast here every morning of our 7-day stay. The Little Fib breakfast, two eggs, smashed breakfast potatoes, breakfast meat (your choice) and toast plus bottomless coffee is fulfilling, taste great, and is a good cost. The smashed breakfast potatoes were the surprise. Fingerling potatoes, thrice cooked, smashed and then lightly heated/fried on a flat top. Excellent. First visit service was slow and I felt forgotten several times. Remaining visits had no issues with service. Coffee was great, balanced, with a hint of being a dark blend.

The bar area was great. The bartender was amazing, friendly, attentive, and proactive. She saw us roaming around and asked if we were looking for the bathroom. We were just playing Pokémon Go, but we decided to sit and have a drink. My husband had a Fall Old Fashioned and I had soda w lime. I had a bite of his apple chip. It was yummy.

Little Fibb was a great find while visiting Nashville! The price points were great and service was stellar! It's hidden in the Renaissance hotel which has a great ambience in itself! I had the smoked chicken soup (not pictured) but mannnn it was so good. The smoked chicken was so flavorful and a great take on a traditional chicken soup! The cornbread madeleines were also a hit! Customer service was great!

I'm 30 years old and have used this license without issue for years. When I asked what specifically was wrong with the ID, nobody could provide an explanation. Instead, staff consulted a manager and simply told me they would not be serving me. Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
