We had an incredible stay at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. Beautifully appointed hotel and rooms. They definitely thought of all the little things like coffee and tea, cookies in the afternoon, spa items in the rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They provided recommendations and assistance. Beautiful restaurant and bar area. Loved the walkability to square for food and shopping. Used their driving service to Teton Village for 1 day and enjoyed it.

Homemade cookies at 4PM and THE best chocolates with their turndown service every night.

Deserves 10 Stars. This family-owned boutique hotel is exceptional in every way. We stayed with them for 8 days this month--4 more than expected due to epic snow. First and foremost--ALL of the staff are so friendly, professional, warm, genuine- I just can't say enough every single person that works here. The restaurant is the best in Jackson Hole, the rooms are lovely with THE most comfortable beds, and as several other reviews have mentioned--the turndown service with THOSE chocolates and the warm cookies at 4PM. Their touches of stellar customer service, quality and comfort are rare these days. We will never stay anywhere else in Jackson Hole and wish that other hotels around the country could emulate The Rusty Parrot Lodge.

Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Great spot along the creek. The inn has an old world, warm, grandma's home feel to it. Not bad but not my style. Old carpet and decor that needs a refresh. Service was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. They remember names and are so friendly and caring. Good breakfast to start your day with little snacks to take along with you on your adventure. Homemade cookies were yummy. Heated coffee cups were a nice touch.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Book in advance so you have the opportunity to enjoy this truly unique and amazing place. It's a stay I will always remember!

The staff is very friendly, but not necessarily truly competent. I found that when I asked the staff about different issues, they were very friendly and appeared to be helpful, but really no follow through or accurate information. They made an error on our bill and frankly did not believe us. I had to point out their error after they showed us a receipt for a dinner that was not ours. It goes without saying, they were more than a bit surprised that we were correct. It's so true, if you want to stay in the city, this is a great location. We too wanted to stay at The Four Seasons, but I luckily realized it was way too far away from any Sumner/Fall activity. We were here in October and there's really nothing to do at the Teton Village where The Four Seasons is during off-season. If you stay at the Hotel Jackson you're right in the middle of the town (that was obviously made just for visitors, but still lovely) and you can go look at all the shops and walk to the restaurants. The breakfast were very good at the Figs in-house restaurant. Figs is a Lebanese restaurant which is fine, but if one is staying for any length of time, one does not want to keep eating that same food. There's nothing on the menu like a salad with protein or hamburger that one can order. The bar is extremely small only five chairs. Very inadequate. I was told they plan on adding a restaurant, roof top bar, and more rooms - - sorely needed. They did provide yummy macaroons at night and once while we were staying there another treat. Glad we stayed there, enjoyed it.

After being in a highly chlorinated hot tub I wanted to rinse off and hydrate my skin with some lotion. None to be found in the men's locker room. I asked one of the massage therapist who happened to be walking by and she said "we don't put lotion in the locker rooms". My response- "you don't provide lotion in a spa locker room"? Her response "nope". She was very rude, snappy and short in her responses. The inside temp of the spa was 88 degrees. We felt like we were suffocating in very hot air. Unfortunately we ended up leaving before our appointments. We did not get a welcoming friendly vibe. Lack of interests in the customer needs. No thank you! I will take my time and money to another spa. In response to Amber- you are correct. We did receive a tour of your spa which was much appreciated and also expected. Your spa men's locker room also lacked correctly sized spa slides. All were size extra small. But after a very brief short tour there was no one left in sight to assist. "The butler" who didn't realize her title as butler when we asked. We were not sure who to address concerns and questions to." We couldn't find you Amber to address our concerns regarding the very warm temp of the waiting area, get a WiFi password, and recieve proper products for our visit. While you may claim you are an "intimate" boutique spa. Your service did not provide any level of intimate personal experience. Your employees should have the answers to basic questions/ needs of a spa. Lotion is a basic essential.

My masseuse was very good, but she had what I felt like was a lot of criticism about my posture, my breathing, and more. She paused too much during the actual massage with hot towels. Checking in was easy, we were dropped off by our ride share right in front of the lobby doors. We were greeted right away and were given a full rundown, with maps, which I really appreciate. We walked to our cabin and although I didn't request a "creekside" cabin, the one they gave us still had views of the nature walk and creek. This was quite amazing when we woke up early one day for a tour (which we also booked through the hotel) and there was a family of otters in the water. Swoon!!! The room was lovely, decorated in a rustic, Western way. It was very clean and smelled nice. The bed was super comfortable. We like the size of the bathroom and the nice flow of hot water. I will agree that there was a little wear and tear with some wallpaper but I see that all the time, even at "fancier" places than this one. We had an issue with our toilet but it was fixed within an hour. I will say the biggest complaint I would have is the three windows on the wall across from the bed. I thought it wouldn't be a problem for us since we were visiting in the off season but wow does the sun beam down on you through those three little windows. We didn't eat here except for the free breakfasts because, again, off season. I loved the little buffet they had! There were rotating specialty items and an omelet station on weekdays. The food was good for a free breakfast buffet. The people working were also so kind and friendly. We utilized the hot tub and the sauna two of our three nights. We thought it was lovely and had a great time. I will definitely stay here again when back in Jackson.

Staying at the Alpine House is similar to staying in a personal log cabin with all the amenities which include a fireplace and balcony in most rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean, the water was hot and the wifi was fast. In addition, the property has a small fitness facility available with a few free weights and ready cooked hot breakfast every morning. A small perk is that there is water, coffee, tea, cider, etc. 24/7 in the lobby. There is also a small workspace with a couch and fireplace for those needing a break from their roommates. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are ready to offer help when needed. Check in and check out are very quick and efficient. They are well trained and have a good knowledge of the area, offering suggestions to eateries and other local attractions. One of the best features to this property is their proximity to the town. Only three short blocks, one can be in the town square by foot in minutes. Staying in Jackson Hole during one of the coldest months (February) can prove challenging while navigating through the snow/ice covered roads and having a proper hot shower. However, The Alpine House shielded us from these issues with the short stroll to town and the consistent hot water flow from the showers. With great service, beautiful rooms, a short walk to town and a reasonable rate, The Alpine House is the best option while visiting Jackson Hole, WY!
