I ordered off of doordash. This salad was a lot bigger than I expected. I ordered an electric city salad, and it was delicious!!

Not sure who cooks this food, but it was quite possibly the most disgusting worst food I've ever had. Not an ounce of seasoning on anything, and barely anything resembling culture. Ordered chicken shawarma platter, no tzatziki, hummus on the side, rice on the side. Also ordered musakahn rolls, chicken shawarma flat bread, and mujadara. The chicken all across the board was dry as a rock, room temperature, completely tasteless, and crunchy like it was days old. I didn't get the musakahn roll, I got veggie spring rolls instead. They were soggy in the middle and greasy. The chicken shawarma flatbread, I have no idea what the heck they gave me, but it wasn't what I ordered. The menu says comes with chicken, tahini, pickled radish, and toum. What I got was the same days old dry as a rock flavorless chicken with tomatoes, salad, mayo, ketchup, and parsley on it. The mujadara was fine, just basmati rice with some lentils topped with not cooked enough onions. I asked for one toum and one hummus on the side, but the restaurant gave me five toums, five tahinis, five hummus, and five hot sauce. I didn't ask for all that so it shouldn't have sent. My wife didn't eat her food. I scraped some chicken off the flatbread and had a few spoons of rice. Everything else went into the trash. Also, the toum isn't toum, it's mayo with garlic. At least try please. Can't compete or compare with NYC style Halal food, not even remotely.

Sure, you can grab a plain or cheese pie, but this Italian pizzeria takes it up a notch. I went for the Italian meat lovers pie, stacked high with sausage, pepperoni, and more. One thing I noticed--every time a table was cleared, it was filled again right away, a clear sign this place is loved. In summer, they have outdoor seating, as shown at the start of the video. My server was warm, professional, and welcoming, which is something I really appreciate. The pizza was crisp, piled with toppings, and served piping hot. I highly recommend checking them out. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. No time to chat while you're working through the thin, crispy, slightly charred crust; small talk dies when you try the quattro formaggio with red sauce, or even the simple mozzarella and tomato pie (best for kids, but they'll wanna try them all). But my favorite; the tomato pie - crushed tomatoes dusted with pecorino Romano and a touch of olive oil. I could have that as the start to every meal, morning, noon and night. It's light, simple, clean and full of flavor. Apizza (said as "A-Beetz"), similar to the New Haven, Connecticut pies made with minimalist ingredients, is a twist on the classic Neapolitan style. Forget your age-old traditions, forget your classic styles, this pizza is a modern fusion of so many great elements that we've come to expect and love from our pizza here in NEPA, with it's own unique Flair. Wooooooooo!

Stopped off for lunch while driving through the area, and made a great choice with Henry's. Service was friendly and efficient despite being packed, and the ambiance was somewhere between neighborhood coffee shop and neighborhood restaurant (aka, very pleasant). Food and baked good options were solid, and opting for a special (spinach and feta omlette, toast, sausage patty, and hash browns) gave me no regrets. Eggs were light and fluffy, but maybe could have used a touch more spinach and feta (admittedly though, I like those more than I like eggs so I'm biased). The sausage was a standout though! Definitely recommended, and will be my go-to meal next time I'm passing through.

We waited at the front a couple of minutes which was okay considering they seemed busy, but then some party entered and were attended to right away. We basically just followed that party because I overheard the there wwer only tables in the outdoor patio. We were able to establish contact with wait staff out there and so it began. Staff was friendly but service was slow. We were waited on by about 4 different persons, which was a little confusing, but if that what it takes to get served, then fine. Again, I am guessing they were understaffed. We ordered some BBQ ribs which were quite good but the half rack was small IMO. They have nothing on Kansas City, but it was still pretty good. They appear to BBQ their meats on the premises. Ambiance was okay, fine for BBQ and beer. If I lived in Scranton, maybe this place would be on the list of options, IDK.

Dip was fine, probably out of a packet. Little did we know those burnt chips would be the only thing we would be eating for an hour with little to no refills. Seemed to be forgotten about with us being inside and I guess everyone else in the back. After an hour, our food came out. I got the brisket tacos, they were good. 8/10. My table got a chicken cheesesteak and ask for no mushrooms and ofc it came out with mushrooms... We had to get the wings, the wings were good! An hour wait good? No. 7/10. It took a weird amount of time for our last entree to come out and it was just like chicken tenders on a bun, no love. Oh and the pulled pork sandwich was more like slop. Our waitress's excuse was that they had a new chef. Sooooo I guess they decided to start training this chef during service. Food - 8/10 Service - 5/10 Atmosphere - 7/10 Overall - 6/10

The format was unusual in that it appeared to be a carry out place- but with a dining room attached. You order & pay- then go sit and wait for your meal to be served. The dining room is more comfortable than a typical pizza place with a family warmth. Our crew ordered chicken soup, burgers, pizza and a sub to go for out basketball player. We selected their "Old Forge" style pizza- iconic to the region. It didn't disappoint. The crust was light & crispy, the sauce in the sweet side and the blend of cheeses (including American cheese which is the hallmark, I'm told, of the style). It was delicious. I am a pizza 'freak'. I've enjoyed pizza from iconic restaurants in Naples, Rome, Chicago, New York, California, Detroit and now...Scranton! The burger people praised their 8oz. Burgers. The diner that enjoyed chicken soup (an accomplished cook) had high praise for the home made flavor and textures. When you add that we were treated like family members of this family owned establishment, our experience was exceptional. My only "complaints" are that: the check was far less than expected and (more of an opportunity than a complaint) I would have spent $$ for a nice red wine to complement my meal.

The service was slow, but once we were greeted our drinks and food came out quickly. The inside is spacious, it's in an old building dating back to the mid to late 1800's. The high ceilings and metal work inside gives an old industrial feel. The menu had a lot of tasty choices and the beer menu was fantastic. The list of the handhelds/sandwiches is too long to list, but I could have ordered any of them. They have over 100 small and large craft/international beers in bottles or cans and around 20 taps. I had a couple cans of delicious Russian River/WeldWerks collab Convivial which is a hazy imperial IPA. My wife really enjoyed their Buffalo Chicken Flatbread 13.95 - popcorn chicken, house wing sauce, cooper cheese, blue cheese, scallions. It was more than a serving, sizable and fresh. The flavors were balanced and outstanding. I had the Bison Cheesesteak 16.95 - Chipotle bison, pepperjack, bacon chutney, mushrooms, chipotle aioli, toasted hoagie roll. The flavors were balanced, roll was fresh, the serving was large and it was pretty darn good. The meat had a hot dog/pork pate taste. My 5 year old son ordered grilled chicken street tacos 13.95 - Pico de gallo, jalapeno sour cream, queso. Choice of grilled chicken or beef. It came with three and he ate half. We all had a bite and agreed they were fresh, easy to handle and had a delicious mix of flavors, especially the chicken and cheese. My other son had the House Grilled Cheese 9.95 - Boursin, pepperjack, & cooper cheeses on grilled brioche. He enjoyed it, but said it was a little spicy. Although they lacked a "kids menu" my guys found something they enjoyed. The inside was family friendly and they were treated well by the staff. We thought Ale Mary's was a great gastropub and will absolutely repeat when we are back in Scranton. Thanks guys!
