Chicken Burger with Choice of Toppings with choice of side
    Brittany D.

Came here with coworkers after work! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was cozy and staff were nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lady serving us was busy but was helpful and got all our orders correct. Got the mimosa flight and the chicken burger and added other toppings. I enjoyed what I ordered.

Inside the Cajun Melt - loved the layer of jalapeños
    Andrea D.

Decided to stop by with my team because we wanted to celebrate the end of a successful work week. We were intrigued by the Mermaid Mimosa so I decided to purchase a Mimosa flight. Absolutely delicious! All the flavors were perfect and they were so refreshing. I decided to get the Cajun Melt, which had a kick of spice from the jalapeños, and were amazing! The french fries were plain and not impressive. Our server was patient and was even kind enough to give us our tabs on separate checks so we could see how much we all we owed the one who put the bill on their tab. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside, which was nice, and had a nice breeze from the open door and windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I really enjoyed the food here, I loved the clam chowder! The batter on the fish was light and crispy, very delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got to sit by the window and enjoy the waterfront views.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and our server was kind. Also appreciate the accessibility of this place :)

After hubbies Dr. Appt. at Kaiser Vallejo, we headed to our favorite waterfront restaurant near Mare Island. We got there at a perfect time of 2:30, seated ourselves and menu's were delivered. I had an Iced Tea cause it's so good. I prefer it rather over brewed. Lol. We both changed up our usual orders and decided on the SC Combo Louie with Dungeness Crab and Bay Shrimp. If you love Clam Chowder, ya gotta get a cup! Thee best Chowder in the North Bay according to us. The Salads came out shortly and they were packed with crab and shrimp. Nicely sliced whole HB Egg, Tomatoes and Cucumbers. The dressing was delicious too! I also gotta give props to our server Nadia who was so friendly and attentive! Thanks again for a yummy salad on this warm day.

    Meat Skillet Breakfast

We were warmly welcomed when we entered (around 9:45am) & the server took our drink order when she handed us our menus. The coffee really hit the spot! There were quite a few occupied tables & I noticed the lone server did a great job checking on all of us until the next gal came in. We ordered the following: Piggy Scramble, Mushroom/Spinach/Swiss omelette, Meat Lovers Skillet & Sourdough French Toast. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try something else...

Such a little gem! The food is great, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the views truly make it even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came with a group and we were seated quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We arrived right at sunset, and it was stunning to look out the big windows over the water from our table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the New Orleans gumbo and it did not disappoint!! Highly recommend!

Food was delish! My sister had the seafood sauté... enough food for 2 people! I had the grilled tuna and home made clam chowder combo.... it was a big bowl of soup! Alexis was our awesome server... very kind and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a beautiful day with a view next to the water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will def be back!

What a surprise for a little restaurant hidden at the end of a dilapidated parking lot beside the bridge to Mare Island. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and layout is dated but still charming in its own way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are windows facing the marina which you can see from any table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My MIL kept saying how much she liked seeing the boats. Our server had a friendly and familiar personality. I had a sense that she's used to chatting with her regular customers. The menu offered large portions of seafood (chunky pieces of fish with chips), delicious bowls of clam chowder and refreshing beers. There were other items I'd like to try the next time I visit, including dessert (banana pudding!!)

We had Crab Louis, garlic bread, Creole Special, clam chowder, sweet tea, mimosa, and dessert (carrot cake and red velvet cheesecake). Sorry folks we ate and I totally forgot to take pics of the entrees. Lol. So you know it was good! We took our dessert to go and it was delicious too! Food was fresh, clean, and appealing to the eyes! Only thing that could have been better was the still water tasted like tap water. Yuck! Cmon folks at least get filtered water. Service was ok - not spectacular. It's a small place at the very end of the marina by the Coast Guard station. If you don't know it's there you wouldn't see it. There is indoor/outdoor dining. It's an older building that could use sprucing up (washing and repairing windows, etc). Otherwise we would definitely recommend but no need to dress up. Very casual place.

A small joint, very American, and very country. We ordered seafood over rice in two styles. They were all very tasty. You can taste the local history in food as well as in this restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is also very country and American with all the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] People here are efficient and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A very interesting area and spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend it.

You are stepping back in time when you enter the doors here! I'm pretty sure there are decos on the wall that were hung up when this place first opened. Very chill, nothing fancy. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit in the back, you'll have a water view. The are plenty of menu options and I ordered the jambalaya which was really good. It was a large portion and had plenty of sausage and shrimp. I also ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Delicious! Lots of clams! The service was friendly and sparse. Our order was taken, delivered and no one checked back with us. Not a deal breaker for us. We'll be back again. This place is worth checking out. It's unique, interesting and after your meal you can walk along the marina.

There is a dedicated parking lot, tight but can hold a decent amount of cars. There is street parking as well, not metered - that is where I parked. The hostess was extremely friendly and attentive, checking in on us several times after ordering to notify of the food's ETA as well as refilling drinks and seeing if we needed anything. The dining area has approximately ten booths in total and became quite crowded around 12:30p. Our meals arrived at different times, items to eat meal arrived sparsely as well. We ordered around 11:30a, there were two other parties present. We were able to order based on our dietary needs/wants as the menu offered quite a diverse array. The crab omelette (known as The California Omelette on the menu) is 1/4 lb of fresh crab served either hot or cold enclosed in three eggs along with avocado and Monterey Jack cheese. For $26.35 the omelette left much to be desired, especially in flavor and seasoning. Nothing complimented or even enhanced the presence of the crab in any way. The remaining party at the table said they enjoy their meal - including a blueberry waffle, toast and eggs with bacon and a double cheeseburger with fries. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to gather, this cafe is certainly an option to consider. It was easy to speak and hear each other with ample privacy and not a lot of traffic - if any.
