[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute spot! Love that it's queer owned![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They host a variety of shows, like battling pianos, performances, and the one I happed to go to: burlesque![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was great energy and the layout was very close in but still felt like there was plenty of room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lighting was beautiful and the drinks were gorgeous and made very quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved how on it the staff were. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great sound system in there too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was cool, lots of fun creations with fun names. Parking is a lil rough, circled a couple times before I got something and of course the costs are up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But it's a cool spot to hang out in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came to Silver Lining for a burlesque show and dueling pianos! I loved both events. The drinks were delicious and promptly served. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is cozy and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that it has open seating. It allows you to meet new people, especially during events.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a fun place!! Party of 8 for the Friday night piano bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had reservations and sat at the bar. Cocktails were served and music was played! We also received complimentary Jell-O shots! There are QR codes to venmo the piano player to make song requests...this won't guarantee your song will be played...but all of my requests were! Will absolutely be back and look forward to other events! Highly recommend!

We checked out this cute little piano bar while pregaming before dinner and a concert last night! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender on duty, William. We ordered The Die Hard Old Fashioned, Anchor + Tree Carajillo and a few beers. I love a good espresso martini and the Carajillo was better than any I've had. It was made with tequila instead of vodka and it was so smooth and it's even made with the coffee from their business neighbor! I could have had 4 of these - they were that good! We didn't try any of their food, but the menu looked and sounded delicious - especially their hot dog! They have live music and a band was setting up when we were leaving! It seems like a pretty busy spot and I'm glad we stopped in to check them out. I'll definitely be in again for that Carajillo!

    Don't underestimate this place.

Fantastic hidden gem. William the owner is great and so are to voter two bar tenders we met. I'm only in Sacramento 2-3 times a yea but every time I am, I come here.

    Good times. Thanks SL

Ask the Community - The Silver Lining

Thinking of bringing my husband and nineteen year old daughter here for Father's Day. Is this a family friendly venue?

Hi! During my visit there were definitely some adult themes going around that I don't think would be appropriate for young children. I DO however feel that a this would be a great family spot that provides a lot of fun and entertainment for 17+…

    Do you need tickets?

Hi! Most of our events are non ticketed. However if you are attending on a Friday or Saturday the events may be ticketed. The Silver Lining brings in artists and musicians from all around. Sometimes we require a ticket for those events to pay the…

Is it accessible for people with walkers?

I think so! I use a wheelchair and I had a pretty easy time.

We went on a Wednesday night around 8 PM, it was really chill and there were a few people here and there. They also have an upstairs seating area, which is nice and cozy as well! Service was nice and attentive, when we walked in, we were given a menu about what drinks were being served and we were given a quick overview on the days throughout the week and what events are being held in what music is being played, which is really cool! We were also told they do have a record day where you can come in and bring your own vinyl and they will play it along with other records that customers bring which is so fun! Overall, the place is super small and cozy, great aesthetic and it is in downtown so there isn't a dedicated parking lot.

I wanted to love this place but the plant-based options were limited to bar snacks: cauliflower bites, fries, hummus, a single salad, and mac and cheese. What's frustrating isn't just the selection, but the missed potential. Not one veggie sandwich option. The stuffed peppers could easily have a meatless version; the Brussels sprouts didn't need bacon; the farmers market salad could offer prosciutto as an add-on rather than a default. Small tweaks, big difference. A little more intentionality here would go a long way. On the bright side, the bourbon flights are a real highlight, and the space itself is a win - open, airy, and flooded with natural light, making it perfect for happy hour. The gastro pub vibe is genuinely cool, and you can tell this place has a lot of potential. Meat eaters and whiskey fans will love it here. Vegetarians, though, will find themselves grazing on sides and calling it a meal. If you're plant-based, my advice: grab dinner somewhere else first, then come here for the cocktails - because those, at least, won't disappoint.

Close walking distance to everything in the area. Another great thing about Mojo's is their menu. It sets them apart. The food is bomb here. I particularly liked their onion rings. Super crispy and crunchy. The onion didn't pull with each bite. The burgers here are bomb as well. I'm a big fan of this place and they sponsor my favorite sports radio channel in town, ESPN 1320, which is what brought our party in. Shout out the Chatty House! Oak Park brewing has many options of beers to choose from but something I want to really highlight is none other than their children's menu cheeseburger. I am the owner of 1 extremely indecisive toddler who will say he wants 1 thing and breaks out in tantrum when that 1 thing he asked for comes. But fear not! Let him be indecisive and choose diaper bag emergency gold fish and I can enjoy the kids cheeseburger ( comparable to the OPB Burger, hold the veggies), Burgers here are cooked beautifully. Pair it with fries and a tasty beer and you'll be in a happy place. Enjoy their patio with plenty of space to spread out and ample seating or get some of that AC inside.
