Don't believe the hype with this place. Waiters are super salesy. Kept mentioning the bottomless drink specials even though the first time he mentioned it I notified him that I was pregnant. Mentioned them again while serving my drinks and again when my bill came saying "maybe next time for the drinks." I found it really obnoxious. Not everyone in Fairfield wants to drink all the time. Lobster roll was good. Not memorable and a bit plain. I don't know what this place is trying to be. Just got back from dinner with my boyfriend, our waitress was Sammy and she was extremely sweet! Mind you, we're in the middle of a pandemic and it was extremely busy and TONS of outdoor seating, so things took a little longer to come out (but who cares! You go out to eat to enjoy company, not time your waitress!). We witnessed a lot of extremely rude customers and my boyfriend and I were absolutely appalled. Every waiter/waitress, hostess, bus boy and even the owner was running around helping out, doing their absolute best to make sure everyone was happy! In my eyes, they did phenomenal and I can't wait to return!! If they lost some customers tonight, good riddance, all they did was cause unnecessary scenes for the rest of us enjoying our time. Went here on a Wednesday for lunch. Put my name in and was told 15 minute wait. No problem; nice day, so hung out in the parking lot and chilled. 25 minutes later, and after watching countless groups (who showed up well after me) get seated, we asked the hostess who said "a Wi-Fi glitch" caused our name to mysteriously get deleted. While voicing my concerns more and more late arrivers were shown to their tables. Very aggravating. Finally got seated and the food was good. Wait staff - slow and fairly inattentive. Would definitely not return. Figure out your front desk issues and maybe I'll change my mind. read more

What a shit show! First of all a "40 minute" wait turned into an hour & a half and still not seated! The Stepford Hosts need to lose the note book & colored markers & step into the 21st Century! They kept the smile as people were asking when will they be seated as there were many empty tables available! Great atmosphere - sat outside on the patio on a perfect summer evening. My husband had the Black Krakken noodles and I had the shrimp and grits - both very good. Cocktails were especially delicious. I was passing by this restaurant yesterday and decided to stop in. From the outside it looked like a nice place. When I went inside it was even nicer. There is a long bar which seats about 25 people comfortably. They also have a nice size patio and a good amount of dining space (comfortable couch chairs too). The food was phenomenal, I recommend the "lamb chops" or the "pan roast". The food was flavored perfectly and the service was outstanding. I'd also recommend trying their sangria, it's homemade and goes down quick (hits you afterwards), but you're bound to order another one. The atmosphere is corporate/casual/family friendly, overall a really nice crowd. The presentation is also really nice, they display the raw bar in the restaurant and the (drink) bar is extremely organized (and fully stocked with good choices). Drink menu was great. read more

After we were seated we went at least 10 minutes without being given a menu, as the wait staff continued to walk past our table. This is my new favorite spot in Fairfield. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the calamari fries and I have to say, this was the best lobster roll I've had. Every bite was full of meat and the right amount of butter. Also, save the sauce from the calamari fries for your fries with the lobster roll. The pork chop special was perfectly cooked. I've been coming to this place for 4 years with all my friends and family. it has progressively gotten worse every time but I still try to support the business. Both my boyfriend and I had our 21st birthdays here. I was beyond disappointed tonight and will not be coming back. The old man with white hair (either the manger or owner) was so disrespectful and rude to us. I ordered a drink and gave them my ID which he than denied even though I'm 21. (I have drank here multiple times served by him.) When I went to speak with him his behavior was abhorrent and belittling. I'm absolutely disgusted and beyond disappointed. I have enjoyed this bar multiple times however this time was a terrible experience. This time we sat at the bar instead of a table, biggest mistake. We were a party of 10 and barely ever saw a bartender. Sadly enough we were charged a guaranteed gratuity of over $80. Because of this I complained to the manager and this was when things went from bad to worse. The manager was completely Insane explaining that since the tab was over $500 we couldn't complain about service, all the while we each got 3 expensive drinks in over 2 hours. I am the last one to complain about service, but she was argumentative and entirely disrespectful. The Manager, Tim, is very unprofessional. The server misunderstood my husband when he asked for a soup bowl instead of a styrofoam cup. Out of the words "soup bowl" the server heard the word "stupid". A few moments later the manager came over. Instead of asking us if everything was ok, he stood in front of us using threatening body language and was extremely rude. This was a simple misunderstanding that could have been easily clarified by an efficient restaurant manager. My husband would never call anyone stupid!
