Thrilled to have a Pint & Slice in Redondo, as my family loves the original in El Segundo enough to regularly make the drive from PV. The menu is the same: a mix of traditional and inventive pizzas that all have great crusts and delicious base sauces with high quality ingredients. The craft beers - both their own and others - also are great. We found the quality to be on par with the ES location. The restaurant was full and lively, and the food (Margherita/salad) came out fairly quickly. Will definitely be back often. I would also like to address the trash one star review from the opening week that complained about unruly kids and sub-Domino quality pizza. As mentioned, the restaurant was full when we visited on Thursday with lots of families, all of whom were having good times with properly behaved children. That said, it is a locally owned family pizza place in a family oriented town - it's striving for, and delivering on, an enjoyable family dining experience not a three star Michelin date night. Pretty solid NY style pizza place. Came with friends and family on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. Waited 30-40 min to be seated. Didn't realize even after being seated the only way to order is at the counter. Waited another 30-40min for pizzas to come out. Apps come out a little faster. Ordered a Margherita pizza and the pesto drizzle on it really gave it some great flavor. It's a larger 18" pizza that 3 or 4 can share, especially if you get other sides. Got the bread pudding which was pretty good as well. Served warm with bananas baked in and a creamy vanilla ice cream on top. Definitely on the noisier side so you have to yell a little. Seating is these low stools that kind of tip over easily. Would maybe get it as take out next time to avoid all the waiting, but I'm sure it's just because we were there at a busy time. So, we went on a Saturday night. I expected it to be busy, but not chaotic like it was. They really need to fix something, as it just wasn't pleasant. We ended up packing our pizza to go because we were all overwhelmed. First, there was a line to order. Then, we had to stand in another line to be seated. We were seated on a small sliver of a shared high top table with not enough room for all of us, plates and our food. I literally had to hold my plate in my lap. Love Slice & Pint! I've enjoyed many pies at their El Segundo location, so I was thrilled to see them open this spot in Redondo Beach. Since I'm reluctantly switching to gluten-free, I tried their Midnight Fig on a cauliflower crust, and it was absolutely delicious--it definitely hit the spot. Food is good, however not a great place to watch football on Sundays.. they have a lot of TV's,but they have music playing during the games, and most of the tv's were not changed from early games to the late games.. Great pizza great beer options. The pizza is cooked perfectly with a slight amount of char on the undercarriage and crust. Thin and crispy. They have other options like sandwiches and appetizers but their two slice and beer special hits the spot. Plenty of TV's with sports on and reasonably priced. Completely worth it. I have frequented this restaurant for the last several years, both in Redondo and in El Segundo. I used to think it was the best pizza, maybe a tie, with Fresh Brothers. Today I went to the Redondo location after a hair appointment in the same shopping center. The two slices of pizza with the lunch special were very hard and pretty much flavorless other than the taste of the pepperoni. You are supposed to get a beer with the lunch special, but I had to ask for it even though I had paid for it. I love meatball sandwiches and had never had one from Pint and Slice, so I decided to order one to eat later in the evening. When I opened the box, I could not believe how small the sandwich was - maybe 6" for about $15. It was not bad but certainly not worth the money. There are other meatball sandwiches which are better-tasting and bigger and less expensive - for example, Little Gourmet on Main Street in El Segundo. I don't think I will be going back to Slice and Pint unless I hear that the food, value, and service have improved. read more

Fun place for pizza and beer. Lots of TVs for watching sports. On weekends we have seen Little League teams and coaches/parents having fun on the outside tables. Pizzas are really big and the ingredients are quality. I live a short drive from S&P Redondo and have been there several times. The staff has always been friendly and accomodating. If you enjoy white pizzas try the Belle Isle. It is unique with the addition of fresh arugula on top. I have a hard time understanding why some reviewers complain about being charged a 10% gratuity for take out orders. It is illegal in California for owners to pocket that extra money. At S&P it is shared with wait and kitchen staff If you don't want the 10% gratuity that is added to your tab just ask them to remove it and they will. I came to Slice and Pint this evening to see if I could get a table for 20-25 people at 6:00pm. I spoke to the manager Pete who was amazing and didn't have much to work with but was able to secure a table for 16 on the spot. I am super impressed with the way he was able to make this happen with a really busy dinning area. Line out the door and a packed house. I highly suggest talking to staff if you have any issues. They are great to work with and will do whatever it takes to make sure your visit is enjoyable regardless the the hurdles. read more

So I have seen this location change from little Italian spot to cool craft sorts bar to a crazy Chuck E. Cheese. But slice and pint atmosphere is pleasant and open for all. Many TVs, though they don't play the sound. But the two things that drive me to write a bad review are the pizza slices and the foamy beer. I see that full pizzas seem to have plenty of ingredients on them but if you buy a slice of pizza, there is barely anything and it's mostly crust. Very disappointed. They could kill it if they wanted to. Not sure if this is on purpose. To save money. But very disappointed. Their new glasses that have etching on the bottom make your beer foam over the top so when you finally finish your beer, it is flat. It is cool to see the cascade of bubbles but at the cost of a flat beer. Possibly a redesign with a smaller etching would solve this problem. The staff is awesome and helpful. The food is great, service just as good and I have been told the pint part of the name is excellent too ( I don't drink). There is just one thing I think they could improve and that is the seating.
