For a place that is named a spa, we received quite the chilly reception when we walked in for a reserved massage. Really quite surprised that more warmth wasn't provided to help a guest feel welcomed before they walked in, have to disrobe, and let a stranger put their hands on your body... Maybe I digress, but, the initial feeling was less than ideal. But, the massage my wife received by Lupe was great. She enjoyed the experience and the quality of the massage. She also enjoyed the facilities, even though they are a bit older. Check their calendar and call to check for specials. We got a good deal on a 60 minute massage and tipped accordingly. If you are staying at the hotel, the spa is right by the front desk. Really close to the South Tower elevators but a walk through part of the casino to get over to the North Tower elevators. Wear the appropriate clothes... Would we use the spa again for a massage? Yes. Would we hope for a friendlier / warmer greeting? Definitely yes. Hope you get the right massage therapist and...enjoy!!!

The spa experience I had at The Spa at Harrah's was absolutely fantastic! My Masseuse, Lupé, was outstanding! Honestly, I've gotten a lot of massages in my life, and this might have been the best one yet. If you find yourself looking for a resort with a good spa experience, hands-down, I would suggest Harrah's Rincon, and ask for Lupé! I would also like to give a shout-out to the Spa Attendant Millie, she was so accommodating and sweet.

Is it worth it? I feel disappointed..... Sauna, steam room, and salt water bath were COLD. I had high expectations for this to be my new favorite, because it is located close to home. Players Card Discount= Yes! 10% Parking= Free! Internet= No! (which is bitter sweet, because we are here to relax, correct?) Poolside Service= No! Pool/ Jacuzzis/ Lazy River Outside= Not included with day spa. Staff= Excellent! 10+ Ambience= 9 Relaxation Level= 6 However, Katherine just gave me an age defying facial which brought this spa up 2 stars!

I really hope this spa makes some changes for the better. I've been here a couple of times (the so pa credits the casino gives reels me in), but moving forward im not going to bother wasting my time until I see prices drop. This place is not serene for the following reasons....SHOWERS - the showers are small, there's no handheld shower head, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash all were missing the pumps, there's hair at the bottom of the drain, there's only three showers and the fourth handicap stall was out-of-order. A few girls before me made a wet mess with towels (so not classy). PRODUCTS - the products are not spa quality, they don't feel or smell nice. One of the two hair dryers were broken. I cleaned up my hair from brushing/blow drying, but I can't say the same for others. It shocks me how gross some people behave in a spa. I'd hate to see their homes, just saying. SAUNA & STEAM ROOM - the sauna was fine (I don't think anyone uses it. They have a cute sand timer on the wall. The steam room was ok (more people used this and left their towels in there). I did like how the spa caretaker refilled the bucket with ice and washcloths. WHIRLPOOL - it's huge, but the PH chemical levels are completely off so the sudsy mess piles up in the spa making a person not want to step in. The wall has a waterfall, but it wasn't turned on or working on my last visit. The towels are ragged like the kind you'd find in a grandmothers linen closet (yellow, thin, harsh on skin and strings hanging). RESTING ROOM - I do like how peaceful it is in here, unless a bachelorette party or birthday celebration is going on but have that fun girls and don't mind the rest of us trying to relax. There's another room where it's co-ed and more appropriate for chitchat (they have A snack there, too...yes just one snack). In both of these rooms the spa provides a variety of tea, fruit infused water and I think coffee. They have sugar and honey as sweeteners. My FACIAL here was terrible. I don't recall her name but she didn't extract anything and it was a waste of credits/money. Why do we get pressured to tip for this crap treatment? My MASSAGEs were very nice by Jen. She's a kind soul and I would request her again. I had no problem tipping her. Though these prices are outrageous compared to other spas and what you get. I really wish the spa would lighten up on the credit rules. You can't combine credits on one service (lame). You can't use credits on retail/products (really lame). Friday counts as weekend price (why??). Other casino spa resorts allow combining credits, hold monthly promos (each month $85-95 massage and you can use credits on promos). I do not recommend this place until they make policy changes. I don't know, I've spent so much time in multiple spas I know what I love and what I cannot stand. I've turned my own bathroom at home into a serene spa so it's hard to accept anything less.

Is there a dress code for the day spa?

Men’s and women’s sides are separate. We provide a robe and slippers. Guests in the common area (relaxation room) must wear a robe. I hope I was able to answer your question.…

Are the spa amenities (steam room, sauna, and whirlpool) available to use now and is it free? Is there any perks for a diamond member?

Our spa amenities have a day rate of $40 weekday/$45 weekend with Diamond member gets a $5 off the fee. You can use the steam room, sauna and salt bath. We do not have a whirlpool in the Spa but we have several at Dive pool area. If you have…

Are the steam room/sauna/whirlpool areas separated by gender or would my husband and I be able to use them together?

The massage itself was nice, but nothing particularly memorable or above average. I was expecting a more elevated experience for the price. After our massage, we changed into our swimsuits to enjoy the amenities. Unfortunately, the pool was very small and already pretty crowded around noon, so there wasn't much opportunity to relax in it. On top of that, there was a constant high pitched ringing or buzzing noise near the pool, possibly from the pool equipment. It was surprisingly loud and definitely took away from what was supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing environment. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. I asked one of the employees behind the bar where the towels were since it was my first time visiting. Instead of simply pointing me in the right direction, she scoffed and rolled her eyes as if I should have already known. It was such an unnecessary interaction and really changed the tone of our visit. After that, we decided to pack up and leave rather than stay and enjoy the rest of the amenities. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price, I expected a much more relaxing atmosphere, friendlier service, and an experience that felt worth the cost.

This allows for access to more pools/ spas , complementary bathrobe during stay, and the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to cost-for-use (day pass price and spa availability vs. hotel guest price and spa availability). I would give 5 stars for the staff, namely Katie and Anthony at the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful. Katie, in particular, genuinely enjoys working here and did everything in her power to ensure my party had the best stay. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.

When Calgon was NEVER enough…read more.. I have been coming here for at least ten years, with a hiatus due to joining a membership clinic over the last several. I was pleased to return to a day spa environment with all the additional amenities you do not receive in a clinic setting. I opted for an aromatherapy massage at the Pala Spa on this recent visit. I chose an oil that was both relaxing and invigorating, called "chai spice"! As a former massage therapist, I seek a therapist that is highly skilled when booking my appointments. The therapist was both professional and effective in providing a therapuetic environment during my service here. I am pleased that I have never received a bad treatment here. In the past, I have also chosen facials and opted for the value of a spa package. The rooms are also some of the nicest in Southern California with an option for an indoor or outdoor massage and a shower in-between the room and the patio. This is one of my favorite parts of the spa. The property has an ample relaxation room for sitting and readily available infused fruit water, tea, fruit and even coffee (should you need it to wake up)! The women's spa includes the use of a steam room, sauna, hot tub, and indoor/outdoor showers. The lounge areas are natural, rustic and relaxing. You have the option of booking use of the spa without a treatment for the day at a $30 rate (however you can save with a players card at $25). This will provide you use of the pool, gym and spa and the spa boutique on the property during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday. Weekends are reserved more for those receiving treatments. The spa staff is helpful and the facility is well maintained. They provide most of the final products to end your day of relaxation and invigoration: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, brushes, combs, hair products, etc. I suggest bringing your own blow dryer and irons for your hair. The blow dryers work but are stuck at low speeds. Pick up something much better than Calgon on your exit through the boutique...my husband purchased my selection of the Kneipp Herbal Bath "Sweet Dreams" with Valerian and Hops. This is the way to keep the spa-aah going at home. #NoToCalgon #YesToPalaSpa #ValerianandHopOnBy
