For a place that is named a spa, we received quite the chilly reception when we walked in for a reserved massage. Really quite surprised that more warmth wasn't provided to help a guest feel welcomed before they walked in, have to disrobe, and let a stranger put their hands on your body... Maybe I digress, but, the initial feeling was less than ideal. But, the massage my wife received by Lupe was great. She enjoyed the experience and the quality of the massage. She also enjoyed the facilities, even though they are a bit older. Check their calendar and call to check for specials. We got a good deal on a 60 minute massage and tipped accordingly. If you are staying at the hotel, the spa is right by the front desk. Really close to the South Tower elevators but a walk through part of the casino to get over to the North Tower elevators. Wear the appropriate clothes... Would we use the spa again for a massage? Yes. Would we hope for a friendlier / warmer greeting? Definitely yes. Hope you get the right massage therapist and...enjoy!!!

The spa experience I had at The Spa at Harrah's was absolutely fantastic! My Masseuse, Lupé, was outstanding! Honestly, I've gotten a lot of massages in my life, and this might have been the best one yet. If you find yourself looking for a resort with a good spa experience, hands-down, I would suggest Harrah's Rincon, and ask for Lupé! I would also like to give a shout-out to the Spa Attendant Millie, she was so accommodating and sweet.

Is it worth it? I feel disappointed..... Sauna, steam room, and salt water bath were COLD. I had high expectations for this to be my new favorite, because it is located close to home. Players Card Discount= Yes! 10% Parking= Free! Internet= No! (which is bitter sweet, because we are here to relax, correct?) Poolside Service= No! Pool/ Jacuzzis/ Lazy River Outside= Not included with day spa. Staff= Excellent! 10+ Ambience= 9 Relaxation Level= 6 However, Katherine just gave me an age defying facial which brought this spa up 2 stars!

I really hope this spa makes some changes for the better. I've been here a couple of times (the so pa credits the casino gives reels me in), but moving forward im not going to bother wasting my time until I see prices drop. This place is not serene for the following reasons....SHOWERS - the showers are small, there's no handheld shower head, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash all were missing the pumps, there's hair at the bottom of the drain, there's only three showers and the fourth handicap stall was out-of-order. A few girls before me made a wet mess with towels (so not classy). PRODUCTS - the products are not spa quality, they don't feel or smell nice. One of the two hair dryers were broken. I cleaned up my hair from brushing/blow drying, but I can't say the same for others. It shocks me how gross some people behave in a spa. I'd hate to see their homes, just saying. SAUNA & STEAM ROOM - the sauna was fine (I don't think anyone uses it. They have a cute sand timer on the wall. The steam room was ok (more people used this and left their towels in there). I did like how the spa caretaker refilled the bucket with ice and washcloths. WHIRLPOOL - it's huge, but the PH chemical levels are completely off so the sudsy mess piles up in the spa making a person not want to step in. The wall has a waterfall, but it wasn't turned on or working on my last visit. The towels are ragged like the kind you'd find in a grandmothers linen closet (yellow, thin, harsh on skin and strings hanging). RESTING ROOM - I do like how peaceful it is in here, unless a bachelorette party or birthday celebration is going on but have that fun girls and don't mind the rest of us trying to relax. There's another room where it's co-ed and more appropriate for chitchat (they have A snack there, too...yes just one snack). In both of these rooms the spa provides a variety of tea, fruit infused water and I think coffee. They have sugar and honey as sweeteners. My FACIAL here was terrible. I don't recall her name but she didn't extract anything and it was a waste of credits/money. Why do we get pressured to tip for this crap treatment? My MASSAGEs were very nice by Jen. She's a kind soul and I would request her again. I had no problem tipping her. Though these prices are outrageous compared to other spas and what you get. I really wish the spa would lighten up on the credit rules. You can't combine credits on one service (lame). You can't use credits on retail/products (really lame). Friday counts as weekend price (why??). Other casino spa resorts allow combining credits, hold monthly promos (each month $85-95 massage and you can use credits on promos). I do not recommend this place until they make policy changes. I don't know, I've spent so much time in multiple spas I know what I love and what I cannot stand. I've turned my own bathroom at home into a serene spa so it's hard to accept anything less.

They weren't prepared for the amount of people scheduled to be in the room. They were short one chair for my husband. My hubby and I waited patiently outside the room for them to bring him a chair while everyone else went in. By the time they set up his chair, everyone was already lying down in their chairs with their blankets and eyes closed. My husband's chair was placed in the back of the room right under the fountain light. Before I had a chance to say something, they announced, we will be closing the door and shutting off the lights. Therefore, I didn't say anything, assuming this would include the fountain light my hubby was under. It wasn't. His light remained on. He tried his best to use the blanket he grabbed to cover his eyes from the brightness. I couldn't enjoy my own experience knowing he was placed in such an awkward position in the room. Once the session was over, I kindly asked the staff member to stay back so I can show her that his chair was placed right under the light in an awkward corner of the room. She immediately said, well you could have moved the chair around. We actually couldn't have based on the size of the room and them bringing us in at a later time, when everyone was already laying down in their chairs with their blankets. Overall, I tried to voice our disappointment with the experience in a respectful and discreet way. The employee became defensive instead of listening to our concerns. She chose to argue back. The employee finally said sorry once we were at the check out counter in-front of everyone, making it more awkward for me & my husband. We paid everything in advance, and when we were trying to leave, she stopped us and said she needed to check we were good to go. Making us stay there longer, just waiting. We don't recommend this place due to the customer service. They only offered a 50 discount for a future experience with an expiration date. We don't plan to come back.

Second, they accept walk ins but it is a lottery with the service you can get. We went three friends and we each had to choose different things because some of the services they only have one machine. I only had the Infrared Sauna without the Red light option so I took it. I was actually looking forward to another service of the EMR mat, but my friend chose that one and ai couldn't. I guess that if you reserve with time it is fine, but still if you go with friends you can't all do it, only the regular Infrared Sauna Rooms. Service was good. So that's why I say I have mixed reviews because the sauna was good but my only option. The only drawback was that since I booked through classpass I had to jump from room to room in order to get to do all the services I wanted. Not terrible but cumbersome since you're wrapped in a towel lugging stuff around.

Along with salt caves, they have rooms dedicated toward other wellness services that are salt-treated like a sauna, lymphatic massager, red light therapy, and jade massage bed. Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us out and introduced us to the different rooms and told us more about the health benefits of salt therapy which include anti-inflammatory and anti-respiratory effects. We then got to try out the different rooms: -The lymphatic massager was overall everyone's favorite. There's a small learning curve on how you can lean your body on the machine while it moves so that you can let it massage whichever body part you want. If you have any tense areas it's really good and it's easy to feel its effectiveness. -Jade massage bed is relaxing and passive. It has salt next to it and a salt lamp in the room and there were eye masks. You essentially lie down and let the massage bed work itself on you. -There are two red light rooms. One of them fits one person and you lie down on it but the other you can sit/stand and fit three people. We used the larger one. Even though you can fit three people, you'll all be sitting next to each other in a narrow area. The unique thing about this is that it's also salt-infused and we could taste the salt as it came ino the room. I'd bring a book, meditate or you can put on some music while you're in there. -Sauna has salt on walls. This is one of the nicest rooms visually and cleanliness wise. The room got really warm and hot and they had towels for you to dry off. They also provided water so you can stay hydrated -Lastly, the salt caves - these are the main highlight of Salt Me Halotherapy. The rooms are dark, but the design make you feel like you're at a beach. It's cool inside and salt is all over the floors and wall. We were told they change out the salt on the floor often (not sure about the walls) so hygiene doesn't seem to be an issue. There are a few salt rooms of different sizes so multiple people can be using them at once. It does feel therapeutic to sit inside and relax for a while. My friend said she felt some slight health benefits, but the next day she also said she felt really dehydrated and thinks it might be from the salt rooms. I had no issues myself. Lots of toys and entertainment for kids so it's great for working adults who need a day to treat themselves and there are monthly membership options for regulars. There are lockers in the back to put your stuff away. The customer service is really caring and nice which makes it feel like a premium experience. It's a small building with limited rooms. During the open event we also got to chat with some customers who were regulars and they were very passionate about the benefits that salt therapy has done for them (one person even mentioned that they keep a salt block in their car!). Honestly I'm still a little skeptical of salt therapy as I'm not sure if it's for everyone but it's worth trying out if you're not sure yourself! The idea makes sense, but it's hard to commit to going frequently unless you're local to the area or are going every day and want to have the supplementary wellness. I do like the other services like the sauna, lymphatic massager, and red light therapy. I kind of wonder if there would one day be a sort of day-pass experience where you can do all of the services in one day vs. booking individual services one-by-one because that might make for a nice spa day with a group.
