I worked many years at a West side hospital, where employees' cars were broken into regularly. My husband replaced many, many car stereos for me in the past. Fast forward to 2021. I wanted Apple CarPlay, so I bought a system online (and also a geo car alarm and dashcam). Let's just say there's a lot more to car stereo installation than there was 15 years ago. With a massive bird's nest of wires and cables sticking out of the center of what used to be the dashboard, I realized this was all just too much! Not only did I no longer have a stereo, I couldn't turn on the AC! I thank Christian and Daniel, from Specialists, for talking me off the ledge. They told me I wasn't the Lone Ranger, they have to clean up these projects all the time. Surprisingly, Specialists quickly installed all these components and they work great! Daniel gave me thorough directions in the use of the stereo, and as I said, this is not a stereo I bought from the shop. I was impressed by the knowledge and kindness of these two men. I went to this location to have my front window UV tinted with Crystalline 3M. I waited 2 hours for the process to be completed only to be told that they're would be air bubbles and imperfections that would go away with sun exposure ...to give it a month. Nothing changed! I called the 3M regional manager, Ms. Irene Nunez, and explained to her how disappointed I was with the quality of work done on my car. I explained to her it's like looking through a dirty glass and that the bottom edges of the film were dirty or undone...a mess She assured me should would talk to the owners of the Specialists and someone would get back to me right away about replacing tint. Neither Ms Nunez nor anyone from the Specialists has contacted me in over 10 days. I paid over $300 for this window tinting and received really poor quality and service. I plan on taking my business elsewhere to have my windshield redone and I will not be using 3M products. DO NOT go to The Specialists for window tinting !! read more

This June I bought all my audio equipment online and brought it to The Specialists to install. It was a sizeable service - In Dash DVD Player, Blue Tooth, HD Radio, and Rear Camera, as well as some custom modifications and specific requests as to how I wanted it set up. Service rep was knowledgable and energetic, promising me a three hour turnaround for a walk-in service. At the end of three hours I walked in and it was done better than I imagined; the guy had even worked through a part of his lunch to get it done in time. It was a bit pricey but the final product is worth the cost. Sounds beautiful, looks amazing, no visible wires, and quality service. Worth every penny of my welfare check! (J/K) read more

Today I had a deck installed by The Specialists on Fairview and I have to say I'm amazed by the professionalism and customer support. They got me in and out as quickly as possible. The install was clean, inexpensive, and definitely worth the money. The only bad thing was that my dash wasn't clipped on all the way, but the tech who installed my deck was immediately called to the front and fixed it in a matter of minutes. Pros: Great salesman. Gustavo and Ramsess helped me with the process and gave me awesome suggestions. Louis (I believe is his name) was the tech who installed my deck, and did a fantastic job. The installation is clean and the deck works 100%. Cons: None that I can think of. The labor/shop supplies is what gets you on price though. It was $55 shop supplies/labor for my deck to be installed. Would you recommend to a friend? Yes! read more

Had my new Explorer's driver's side and front passenger side windows tinted. I made an appointment for 9:00 today and was immediately helped by my salesman. Once the paperwork was completed and a few questions were answered, I settled on the tint I wanted and they went right to work. It's now 9:50 and the tint job is completed. It looks great! I came here and got a 3m tint job on my Honda. Was happy with the results and the cost. But then trouble started. I was curious about the warranty on the 3m tint and learned after emailing with a 3m employee that I should have been provided with a warranty packet from the installer. Without this packet the warranty isn't valid. I tried twice emailing the specialist for information regarding this and never once heard anything back. UPDATE 12/26/2017 The Specialists reached out to me to resolve the issues. Will update again after they have addressed it. UPDATE 12/30/2017 Issue all resolved. I had an Apple Car Play system installed, unit by Panasonic. Had all speakers replaced and a new amplifier put in as well. I am SO impressed with the quality of the work and how fabulous this system is and how it interfaces with my iPhone 6. Hands free phone calls with Siri doing the calling. All my Playlists at my finger tips on the touch screen. GPS from the phone now also on the display. AND it plays CDs, I am in heaven. I called last week to get a quote and the guy was great. Told me everything I needed. Went above and beyond. Talked me into $1500 worth of audio for my truck. I called back today to make sure that's what I wanted and possibly add more. The guy that answered the phone was very impatient with me, said he couldn't even start to give me a quote without the truck being there because he had to look at it. Very abrupt with me. When I tried to make an appointment he said he was a month out. How is it one salesman can give me a price and another one can't? Just curious. Now the Specialists wasn't the lowest in price, but I was going to go with them because they have always treated me, my family and friends very well in the past. Now I have no interest in going with them. If their sales guys are going to be rude over the phone I will not go with them. You would think that with all the social distancing going on they would try harder on the phone. I'm in sales and if I treated my costumers that way I won't have a job. If that's the way they are going to treat me I lost all respect and loyalty. I have also recommend for people to go somewhere else. read more

The boys at The Specialist's are amazing. I initially came in to get my passengers side window tinted because we had to replace the window after a break in. They took my car to the back and within a few minutes came back out to inform me of their recommendation. When we bought our Buick it already had tint on it. Well, the tint on it is faded. I've always wondered why it had a brown tint to it instead of black. They said they could tint the window but it would stick out because their tint was black. So I asked them for a quote to redo all my windows including the back and that quoted me a great price! I am definitely coming back to get that done!! read more

Received great service from everyone there, especially Daniel. They didn't push for a sale, only offered to give me information and let me make an informed decision. Not only did I get a great new stereo but they also caught a few issues wrong with a couple other things with my remote start and alarm... and didn't burden me with the cost for an easy adjustment for them. You don't get that kind of service anymore! Everyone wants to charge for even looking at something! I had a small question after picking my car up and the answer was "Bring it back in and we will help you right away!" Had my convertible top replaced on my Camaro and I've had nothing but issues every since! They replace it once because the initial replacement was such bottom line quality it was pathetic, this top isn't much better, already had it back to have replaced because the back glass was not sealed correctly, then i told O'Reilly Chevrolet that when it rains my back floorboard fills up with water, the specialists agreed that the top was not deterring water properly, o'Reilly Chevrolet said no it was the bottom frame that was separated in a small spot and water was getting up thru it, they welded it and said it was fixed, my car doesn't leave my yard anymore for weeks at a time because i no longer work so it's OBVIOUSLY not from me driving thru water and it's not coming in from underneath! I also brought to o'Reilly's attention months ago about a strap hanging down on the driver's side from the convertible top that shouldn't be, they said several times that they would contact the specialists and have them get ahold of me and I haven't heard from anyone! My car smells like a swamp full of mold, it's disgusting, I've made more than one complaint on this matter and no one is doing anything to make it right. I have a really nice car with a crappy after market top that's had nothing but issues! read more

Horrible. I brought my own stereo in, they installed it wrong, added another speaker and an amp that barely works, toasted the electrical system on the car, and still charged me over $1200. Interior panels not reinstalled correctly (several broken/cracked), I took it back three times, then gave up and had a real shop repair the damage for over $2500. GO ELSEWHERE! The Specialists installed my hands free phone equipment for CarMax in June. I only dealt w/ CarMax and didn't have a cell phone yet. I live 4 hrs. away from Tucson and hoped to get this system set up via phone, since we now have a cell phone. CarMax told me to call The Specialists at Automall to explain the process. I thought,"Oh no, this is going to be a brush off situation." However, Ramsses answered my call and was able to successfully (and patiently) get the equipment paired. It is not easy to walk a senior citizen thru the process, especially over the phone. But Ramsses had the knowledge and patience to get the job done without stressing me out. They are fine until you need warranty service. Then they want the receipt presented (with the magical disappearing ink after it sits in your hot car for a few years) and refuse to look you up in the computer to confirm you bought from them. Don't waste your money on their "lifetime" window tint. It's a joke. And if you do, keep the receipt somewhere in your house so the ink doesn't disappear. LUIS was very unprofessional and hung the phone up on me when I told him it wasn't fair for them not to keep computer records and to make customers depend on a written receipt for warranty service. Not another dime to this outfit. LUIS being rude and hanging up the phone on me really took the cake. So much for "customer service". read more
