    Marrakesh Mint Tea $5.98

When you walk in here, expect the "overwhelming" aroma of spices (obv bc they sell teas/spices). My friend had to walk out bc he's not used to it, but I love it! There's a good selection of teas and spices, but I wish there was more for the teas - I couldn't find any fruity teas. The teas have jars where you can smell it instead of guessing the "flavor" from the bag! I have brewed a cup of the Marrakesh Mint Tea and the quality is amazing (tho I'm not a tea specialist). The mints/lollipops here are a must, but they do run out quickly.

This ship was amazing! They have a lot of spices and almost anything your looking for. Only issue is I've got all of them lol. I didn't know there was that many salts in my life. I got 6 different types to try I got teas, I've seen before but wanted anyway, auger... I had no clue there was Thats many types of sugar in my life. I bought way way to much but if it's good I'll be back. They have small packs, bottles, and scoops

We immediately fell in love with this shop! I could have spent a full hour in there picking my teas and spices. We were able to sample one of their teas (which we ended up purchasing because it was amazing) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I can't wait to visit again to pick more teas to try! I'm kicking myself for not purchasing any of the flavored sugars.

Finally a shop where you can smell the teas and spices and make the purchasing of teas an experience! Dry tea leaves, salts, sugars, spices, and ground peppers lined the walls in jars and were pre-packaged for when you are ready to make a decision. The store also had accessories for any tea lover and featured samples and seasonal flavors. When we were ready with questions, the staff was ready to answer them and walked us through some tea with advice on the best way to steep and enjoy them! This store is an excellent addition to The Strand and made for a wonderful tea shopping experience!

Every visit to the strand we stop in. So many spices, seasonings, sugars to explore. If you can't find something, ask. Always ready to help

For vinegars they have everything from strawberry rhubarb & watermelon (they should just call it jolly rancher!) to hazelnut (that tastes more like coffee). And I only have ever seen just regular olive oil. But they have different flavors, including jalapeño! And is there just oil & vinegar? No way! There are also amazing sauces, butters, mayo and so much more. Try the hazelnut butter. I had to stop myself from eating the whole jar in one sitting. It's better than Nutella or any other hazelnut butter you've had (I promise!). The staff are so helpful. They don't just want to sell you, they honestly want to never be bored of the flavors. They will give you a couple awesome flavors that you can come back and refill with other favors. My husband and I have been coming here once a month (or more often) for the latter half of this year and I've truly never loved having daily salads more with all the different flavors and variations this place offers. They even have seasonal flavors. It's a cute little shop, but so much flavor and goodness packed into it. Just go there and you'll see for yourself!

Houston Flea Market is the definition of "you get what you pay for." It's overcrowded, disorganized, and feels like a maze of the same vendors selling the same cheap imported products over and over. The aisles can be dirty, parking is chaotic, and customer service varies wildly depending on who you're dealing with. Prices aren't always the bargain you'd expect either--many sellers charge close to retail unless you're willing to haggle. The food is one of the better parts, but it isn't enough to make up for the overall experience. If you're hoping to find unique antiques or hidden treasures, you'll probably leave disappointed after digging through piles of low-quality merchandise. Unless you specifically enjoy the flea market atmosphere or know exactly what you're looking for, there are much better ways to spend your time.
