I've only tried the smoothies and Acai bowls. I have not been disappointed with either, but I did notice some bowls are made a little differently even though they are the same exact thing. (i.e. ordering the PB and Acai bowl with coconut, almond, and granola; sometimes you would get a loss less coconut pieces than almond or a little less of both) The bowl is still good regardless of the lack of toppings. The smoothie I favor the most is the Pitaya (dragon fruit) Power. It is pretty delicious and can subdue some hunger. The place is pretty clean, but a little small. The POS area can get crowded during the rush, but the workers seem to know how to control the situation when it does get packed. Rude employees. Over all the experience of this cafe is not my style. The music is loud which is maybe why I couldn't get the attention of a single employee. My 2 kids were ignored after 10 minutes of trying to get the attention of any staff member even though they were standing at the counter. When I walked up I waved and said hi, she purposely avoided eye contact. After patiently waiting for her to finish her task she still avoided me at all costs. Several people (at least five) were behind the counter when I visited, seemed like only two of them was actually working to fill orders, one was taking orders at the register the other was actively making an order. At least two were chatting like besties at a bar during happy hour, and looked like they were prepping food to be used later. Only one person ahead of me ordered a drink and a meal yet it still took over twenty minutes for me to get a very simple, single juice. One worker wasn't wearing a mask correctly which is completely ridiculous since the mandate has been in place for well over a year, especially while working preparing food for people. Yes! Definitely a must place to go for an acai bowl! I got a Brazallian Acai bowl and boy, it was super good! I really enjoyed every taste of it and wished I had more. The place itself was very trendy, and although it was not a big place, once you found a seat, you would enjoy every moment of it. I got the hulk smoothie which consisted of spinach, peanut butter, whey, granola, and yogurt. Tasted like an average smoothie anyone could make at home, nothing special. Price was $6.50 for a regular. A little pricey for my taste. I'd prefer to go to either nature's juice or Jamba juice or even just make something at home. It's not like the presentation of the juice was exemplary or anything either...they were just given in clear plastic cups. The only perk was a free cookie with a check in. I never anticipated finding such a great spot by my house. A fitness instructor client of mine suggested I go to the juicebar next door to my job and get the beets drink, that'll help with my iron and my mood. I did, but it was really beety. It's really close to my house, ample parking and easy to find. I went in and the girl behind the register was friendly, I ordered the beets me and asked for extra lemon because I can't stand the taste of beets. She asked if I'd ever had it before, I told her I had not and she assured me (I even asked her to promise) that I won't be able to taste the beets. She told no lies. I ordered the large and I'm SO glad I did. It was absolutely delicious. I've read some of the other reviews and I can't figure out how people complain about the price. In Beverly Hills you get a drink half the size for $2 more. I thought this was a steal! This will definitely be my go to juice spot. This place is AMAZING. I very rarely will sing a business' praises from the rooftops, but I want to tell literally everyone I know. When you walk in, you are overwhelmed with all their food and drink choices. My best friend is vegan, and when we came here, she was stoked that she actually had a wide variety of food she could order instead of the usual one item she can eat at a regular place. There are vegan pizzas, sandwiches, etc. There are probably five menus of smoothies and another five or six with food, not including a giant chalkboard with acai bowls. You're bound to find something you like. In fact, you're probably going to find multiple things you want and struggle to make a decision, like I did. I've never had anything here that wasn't excellent. Their smoothies are fresh and taste amazing. I've had 4-5 different ones (my favorite is the peach passion!) and nothing is anything other than excellent. I ended up getting the #1 on their list of acai bowls (something with kale) and it came to me completely green. You would think it wouldn't taste good, especially for how green it looked, but it was amazing. I finished a medium smoothie and the bowl in the hour and half or so that I was there. The last time I came in, we brought in about ten people. Everyone ordered drinks and some of us got food, and some of us ordered a drink then ordered food later. They're a small place, but they handled us really well. They made it easy for us and put all of our orders under one number so we could sit outside and not have to worry about missing our food. They brought everything out to us. I'm obsessed with this place. I live in Chino Hills, but I'm more than willing to make trips to Claremont just for this. read more

This is I think my third time trying an Acai bowl and it has to be one of my favorite places. I may or may not be bias because I had a huge dollop of PB in this bowl. An Acai bowl is pretty simple but what makes them so great is the toppings and the flavors added to the Acai. I got the PB and a bowl--I think that's what it's called--topped with banana and more PB. Besides the Acai bowls, they also have a HUGE selection of other foods. It's impossible to go wrong with this place! The service here was great. The lady was very helpful and quick on making our bowls. Within 5-6 minutes we had our bowls with a huge dollop of PB. I'd definitely recommend this place for people who love Acai bowls. read more

So far I have tried the Scrippswich sandwich, Vegan Tacos (So delicious), Hummus Bowl (My favorite so far), the Kale soul bowl (so good and fills you up completely), and I almost always get a fresh juice with pineapple, strawberry, and spinach! The Staff is so pleasant! every time I go into both locations they are so welcoming and always happy to help with menu suggestions. Typically I order from The Spot App when I need to pickup and its one of the most helpful things I've come across. Whenever I order off of the App my order comes out exactly how I asked for it; I have never had a problem! I have come here a few times, usually with a Groupon, and the staff here is just fantastic. I've had the pleasure of Robert and Robbie taking care of me the past three times, and it truly feels like coming home. The Beets Me juice blend is something I now crave and can't get enough of. I've tried all the pizzas and love how fresh they taste, and the lightness of the tortilla makes it a perfect meal. Try the ham and pineapple. Small little spot next to trader joes. The acai bowls are what keep me coming back here as there aren't too many viable options in this part of town. Not the best I've had as they tend to be a little icy since they aren't a consistent texture (which you will definitely notice if you have a vitamix to spoil you at home like me!). They've also varied depending on who makes them, and although there is a decent selection of toppings such as honey and almonds, they're a little stingy and you're left with the icy acai. It also takes a little longer than you'd expect to receive your order, whether it's the acai bowls or the pizza. However, the rest of what I've tried has been delicious and super healthy feeling! I love The Spot in Upland a lot. I've never had a problem there, but the original Claremont location has been problematic the last few times I've gone. The second to last time I went, which was maybe two months ago, I had ordered and paid for added chicken in my wrap, but got home and there was no chicken to be found. Not damning, just sucky. The last time I went, about a month ago, I ordered the quinoa wrap and it was great until I found a big piece of clear wrapping plastic in it. I didn't take a picture and wasn't close enough to bring it back, so I dealt with it... This last time just happened a few minutes ago. I again, ordered a quinoa wrap, and it wasn't until the last bite that I bit down on something hard. I pulled this black hard piece of plastic out of my mouth. I'm sorry, I love The Spot Cafe, I really do, but something has gone seriously downhill at this location. I don't know if people are rushing, or aren't being careful, but I don't want to find more plastic in my food, so I won't be eating here again. I feel bad leaving a review like this...
