Walked in and were ignored at the hostess stand for a few minutes. The least one of the servers could have said was "someone will be right with you." Tried to order Eggs Benedict and was told they were out of Hollandaise sauce so ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy. Didn't see any waiter tell that to any other guest. Dish was very small with no side offered. Then watched several people get Eggs Benedict who'd ordered after us. Went to the restroom near the kitchen and heard someone say that a lot of orders had been getting messed up. Not impressed by service or food. Won't be back. read more

Mom and I sprang right into The Spring on Main. I made a reservation a few weeks ago just in case- but we popped in and dined pretty early. Parked across the street and added a few quarters to the machine. Sunday night- bikers had moved out of town and we had almost the whole lot to ourselves! Jim was our server and he really made the whole night fantastic. He was fast, friendly and full of fabulous recommendations. We started with the drinks- mom loved hers so much she had two. I was loyal to my dirty martini- magnificent. Lobster bisque was next- superb, could have been a bit warmer but the colossal shrimp made up for it. A little buttery bread to dippity doo in our bisque would have been a nice touch too. The salads were so fresh, beautifully presented and the miso ginger dressing was incredible! Probably my favorite dressing ever. Another one of Jim's recommendations! Five star! Mom wanted the mahi mahi sandwich and I got the salmon. Oh yes, yesssssss for sure! Of course Jim got it right it again- the salmon was succulent and savory with a crispy and delicious crust on top- YURM!!!!! We had a delicious time. Had to help mom down the stairs- ha. Eureka Springs is our heart away from home. We live less than an hour and visit monthly. We found The Spring on Main while staying for Halloween weekend. A reservation is recommended as seating is somewhat limited but not necessary and they will try to get you seated. My wife had the avocado toast and a salad with a delicious breakfast cocktail. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with fresh fruit and potatoes. The food was so incredibly fresh and delicious. I've yet to have breakfast sandwich that good and fresh. Not gonna lie... I hated this vacation. But, this place was the one real bright spot. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The service was great, the upstairs/outdoor seating area was really cool given the scenery. This place was great. I will literally never go back to Arkansas, but if I do... This restaurant is very small and intimate in a great location on Main Street. We had reservations which I'd recommend because it is hard to get a table here on a busy night. The service started out slow because there was a large wedding party taking up most of the area. However, the person who seated us noticed we had been waiting for awhile to order drinks and an appetizer so he came over and took our order. Very impressed with him and the service we received. We had the Hummus appetizer which was very, very good. Main Course was the Char Grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich and the Brisket Flat Top Burger. Both items were cooked properly and had great flavor. We ended up having 3 different servers bringing items to our table - service ended up being amazing and attentive. Will definitely be back in the near future. read more

The exterior and interior were so cute just like everything else downtown! They had live music which was so nice. I got a John Daly for my beverage and it was so refreshing on this hot summer day, not to strong either I might add which makes it real dangerous lol! Cool upstairs spot in Eureka Springs. We went at lunch on a Monday when a lot of other restaurants were closed so it was busy. They only had one person working the floor and she was awesome! They've got a nice selection of local beers and an eclectic lunch menu. I got the mahi-mahi sandwich which was okay but mostly just tasted like char. That being said, everything else was excellent. We visited on a Sunday afternoon about 1:00. The place was about 3/4 full. We were greeted within a few minutes and sat with 10 to 15 minutes. Our server greeted us in a timely manner and took our drink order. She was very pleasant and professional. She returned with to take our food order. We did overhear her telling the table next to us that the kitchen was almost out of eggs, hollandaise and waffles. It was Labor Day weekend so I'm assuming they had been extremely busy. We absolutely love this place. We sat at the front by the large open windows overlooking downtown. The servers were a little frazzled saying they were short handed but they did great. We stopped in for burgers. My husband got the brisket bacon havarti burger and of course I stole a bite. It was savory and delicious. The fries were shoestring (think McDonalds) they were hot and plentiful, very tasty. I got the mahi mahi sandwich and lemme tell ya. I was reluctant due to the slaw. The slaw was great and added freshness and crunch. Overall, great meal. Next time we will try way more. read more

if I could leave 0 stars I would . horrible service. hostess was so rude to our party. I will say we missed our reservation time by a few minutes but when we arrived we asked if we could still be seated. a little later, hostess told us it would be a 10 minute wait if the next reservation no showed. after 15 minutes we asked again if we could be seated and she got huffy and upset and said No the next reservation is at 7:30 at which point most customers could over hear the conversation we replied but you told us 10 minutes and she threw up her hands saying IM NOT A HOSTESS. and then walked away. we left. we will NEVER be back. horrible attitude we would've been fine leaving since we missed our reserved time but the fact she lied then blew up ruined this for me read more

We came here for dinner on my first trip to Eureka Springs and loved it so we decided to give brunch a try. I left after demolishing maybe the best waffle I've ever had? Perfectly crispy and soft, comes with Maldon butter and some vanilla-y syrup - eating them all together you almost got an ice cream flavor it was so creamy and sweet. Still thinking about this waffle for the next week for sure. The breakfast biscuit sandwich was also delicious - super buttery and light. Service was fast and really good! There were a decent amount of people eating Saturday brunch. There was also live music which was nice and not overwhelmingly loud. You do have to take the stairs up to the restaurant (which will never deter me now that I know how good the waffle is) but it is great for people watching downtown! read more

We were in town visiting g and wanted a place to grab a cocktail and a snack. We let Yelp lead us here and it was great!!! We were here in the mid afternoon so it wasn't busy. They were in the middle of turning the kitchen from brunch to dinner so they only had cheese boards available which was perfect for us. We were seated and greeted right away and we ordered our cocktails. The Last Word and the Old Fashioned were amazing!! I had never had an old fashioned before and that is a serious drink! It was very smooth and yummy! We ordered the Salumi and Cheese board and it hit the spot! Lots of cheese and meats! The only thing I would have like was more of the fig spread or add on some honey. Ah Eureka Springs - just when you think you have visited every restaurant - you look up and find a gem - literally! The Spring on Main is very quaint, on the upper level above some gift stores. Not the best signage for finding, but thanks to fellow Yelpers we got lucky and found this place. Sometimes I sound like Guy Fieri! Not intentional. But as a fellow foodie - I get excited about Good and LOUD AND PROUD about Great! This place was great. Slow paced like ES, but oh so flavorful. Everyone ordered something different. My wife got the smoked Turkey sandwich. The bread was decadent and the flavors exceptional. Her fries were good, but the craft beer was better. I tried the smoked wings and a side salad. You can often tell about a restaurant by their appetizers and cocktail drink menu. Do they give a caca? Hell yes! An old fashioned - I know they're popular again, but many refuse to do the labor to make them. Theirs were excellent. The salty dog brought back another 60's favorite. But the wings were dry, not greasy or burned, but very flavorful. Not sure everyone would agree, but they were quite good - flash fried and smoked to perfection. Could have done a dozen, but 4 was plenty. Our server was Delaiah. Not pushy or overbearing, but there! Somewhat witty and our group enjoyed her service efforts to make sure we were happy. I had the Salmon, and it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked, broccolini and mushrooms were delicious. Sauce was amazing. Perfect flavor. I like that they added the spices on the side so you could make it as spicy as you wanted. It was not a lingering spice so even if you don't like spice (I don't) please try a little. I was persuaded (barely, lol) to try the chocolate dessert they have on menu, and it was decadent and light and unique in flavors. Would definitely go here again.
