I stayed at The St. Regis Chicago for three days, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered, everything felt elegant and welcoming. The entrance is beautiful, and the ambiance of the hotel is calm, luxurious, and very well maintained. The reception staff explained everything clearly and politely, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Bellman service was available right away, which made arrival and luggage handling very easy. The lifts were spotless and well organized, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel really stood out. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Room service was quick and efficient, and the butler service added a special touch of luxury. Every request was handled promptly with a smile. Special counter of Vosges Haut Chocolat was there. Very yummy and best chocolate . On the Christmas Day there was surprise gift in the room. We got one chocolate pack and Christmas greeting card . Every time we found our room neat and clean The hotel also offers excellent facilities including a spa, swimming pool, gym, manicure, pedicure, and body massage services -- all available within the building. We also visited the beautiful Miru restaurant, which added to the overall experience. The highlight of our stay was the stunning Lake Michigan view from our room. It was peaceful and refreshing. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again.

My stay was wonderful. The staff were very helpful during check in and informed us about the champagne ceremony, which we don't miss! The hotel has a great lake facing location. The gym is open 24 hours, but the pool is only available until the evening and isn't heated enough. There is also a gender specific sauna in the locker/shower rooms, which means it can't be enjoyed as a family. The spa is located on the same floor, but unfortunately I didn't have time to experience it during this visit.

This place is special. Amazing staff, courteous and very responsive. Having two amazing restaurants in the building make it so easy to stay and enjoy the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and well appointed. Nothing special but well done and comfortable. The pool was cozy and had an outdoor patio which made it great to layout and jump in pool when warm. Overall a great staycation

Easily one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had--if not the best. The St. Regis delivers on every level: impeccable cleanliness, stunning views, and top-tier amenities that make your stay feel truly luxurious. The tub alone is worth the booking--next-level relaxation. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated, from the service to the design. If you're looking for a five-star stay that actually feels five-star, this is it.

St regis spa did not disappoint! Right when you walk in you are greeted and offered a beverage - tea, water, coffee or wine. I chose the jasmine tea as it was too early for wine ( I had a 9:30 am appointment!). Love it area is elegant and simple - sauna and steam room were available for use and they have cold towels if you use for the sauna. I opted for the jasmine tea as their tea selection is vast! There were other people having appointments prior to mine that came into the relaxation room. Abby was my massage therapist and she was the best! Very thorough and informative. She mentioned that they have a few oils they use - lemon, orange and a cinnamon blend. I opted for the lemon as it's the closest to lavender that I'm used to. The only negative I have was the room and where it was situated. It may have been the area she was assigned to, but I wish it were darker without the windows. I treated myself to a birthday massage and it was well-deserved! But otherwise so good! (Cross-posted on St. Regis Spa page)

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and have a nice turn down service. This is a really special place to stay. The parking fee is outrageous with no self parking. I prefer not waiting for the whole valet process when I'm coming and going. We used the parking garage next door for a fraction of the cost with the ParkWhiz app. (Helpful tip). The only thing I didn't appreciate was the strong false fragrance being piped into the lobby...which gives me a headache. Otherwise, this hotel was perfection!

Beautiful hotel overall! Valet was efficient and the staff were really nice. We had a 2 Queens room and it was very large and mostly looked clean. I was not a fan of the rainfall shower. In my opinion, rainfall showers are hit or miss and this was a miss. It was really awkward trying to shower without my entire head getting wet. We enjoyed the evening ritual and champagne tasting. It was really nice! We also dined at both restaurants and enjoyed those experiences overall. There's a lovely terrace on the 11th floor with amazing views. It was closed for a private event during the evening but I was able to check it out during the morning hours. Overall, the stay was good minus a few concerns in the guest room. The clock in between the beds was really dusty. The face wash dispenser was dirty on the top of the pump. I understand that they refill bottles, but the bottles should at least be cleaned on the outside.

This place is a haven to fall upon when strolling through out the "magnificent mile" of Chicago downtown. I came here after my boat tour through the lake and the river at the Navy Pier and just fell in love with the property. I went to their 11th floor and got an absolutely breathtaking view of the skyscraper buildings overlooking the river. This place is magical.

This was perfect one night staycation. Superb location, friendly and attentive service. Appreciated acknowledgement of my Titanium Bonvoy status with a complimentary upgrade, and a small gift, as well as free breakfast. Common areas are well designed and all decked into holiday decor, a lot of small and pleasant touches throughout. Great spacious room with awesome views, and understated luxury atmosphere. Bathroom was also quite nice, needless to say. Well, the best part: it was complimentary stay for us, as I was using my free night benefit. It would be expensive otherwise, but this is typical of excellent St Regis brand. Highly recommended!

This hotel was located within the loop near the river, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are basic and small. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.

Lady on the phone was rude, told me no and hung up on me mid sentence. I wasn't able to eat my share because well, it was LATE. Wife said her food simply wasn't good regardless. Something as simple as butter and jelly for the toast wasn't provided. Arrived back between meetings. Stood out front and in the lobby for over 15 minutes to try and give my keys to the valet attendant. No one was anywhere to be found. Wouldn't answer calls from the front desk. They finally took my keys then some dude chased me down saying they can't keep them and I have to keep waiting. Oh this made me LATE to my next meeting. $89 a day for poor performance was not worth it. I would 100% suggest parking yourself or a block over at London house. They always have 4+ attendants. Help with luggage and doors etc. oh and it's CHEAPER. We appreciated the room upgrade. The room itself was okay. It wouldn't get below 71 degrees and got upwards of 76 degrees during the day. I want to say that I have had my eye on this hotel for a while now after looking for Hilton hotel locations with a peloton bike, which this one has. Other than that, I loved that the location of this hotel sits in the heart of Chicago, surrounding a plethora of activities which made it the perfect choice for hotel stay to celebrate. Okay, it was an experience going up to the lobby area to check in at this hotel, a blonde moment as I am known for if you follow my reviews. The lobby is located on the 4th floor, so be sure to choose "L" for the lobby because there is no 4th floor button listed in the elevator. Me and two other hotel guests had an adventure going up to the lobby area after trying to figure out where the 4th floor button was. My experience with the receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and the receptionist giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out ends at 12:00 PM! If you have the Hilton honors application, there is the opportunity to check in with the application, choosing your room, and receiving a digital key, which will allow you to go to your room contactless without seeing a receptionist upon your arrival. I have not used this method, but if you are interested in no contact whatsoever then you can use it with the Hilton Honors application. After locating and entering my room, I thought to myself this is fancy once I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There was a variation of vibrant colors in the room from its curtains to the headboard of the king-size bed, the carpet, and a gold chair that looked like something out of your grandmother's house. Out of all, I just could not take my eyes off the curtains which reminded me of cherry blossoms because of the colors. Inside the bathroom there were liquid products by Gilchrist & Soames Zero% attached to the wall. Throughout my travels, I have noticed that hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I really enjoyed the water pressure; its soothing pressure made me feel very cleansed during each usage. It was wonderful toggling with the spray patterns, with the addictive feel of the pressure hitting my face and body. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, comforter, a coffee maker (Hamilton Beach), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and USB and AC plugins attached to either the headboard of the bed, lamps, or the television cabinet, which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hampton Inn Majestic, as expected, had an exceptionally beautiful inner interior! As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I must say that I was pleased to see several dumbbell weights, medicine balls, kettlebells, a decent selection of workout machines, and two peloton fitness bikes which charmed me out of my panties once I spotted them. And oh, honey did I enjoy it on my birthday with the lovely Hannah Frankson as my peloton instructor, who put my legs through torture during her low impact workout. Having the complimentary breakfast was a relief because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. And I was highly satisfied with the quality of what was presented. It is served daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. For you all visiting the city of Chicago, there are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hampton Inn Majestic. As a resident, a few that I adore are Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago! Next door is the CIBC Theatre, which I noticed upon my initial arrival at the hotel. And if you are looking to explore the city or outer part of the city, the Chicago Union Station, and CTA Train Station are very accessible to-and-from. I would surely book Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of interest in downtown Chicago. ~ Live every moment ~ Thomas G

I was warned about eating in the bar on the first floor, which I hadn't done in a few years, but it was getting late, and the weather stunk. I saw friends in the bar area, so I took root at the table nearby. Service was fine, and I enjoyed a few of the Amber bee on draft. The menu looked good, and I ended up with a steak fried rice bowl. The steak was gross. It didn't even look like steak that should be served. It was fatty and tasteless. I ate less than 1/2 the rice and 1/3 of the steak. I wasn't starving, so it wasn't a huge deal, but those who told me to avoid the bar area for food were right.

I was personally greeted by India when I walked through the revolving door, which is always a great touch. They are super accommodating to my needs, can get me a couple bottles of water, and a late checkout due to my status with Bonvoy. The rooms are still in good condition, (in my opinion) some of the sofas are dated but the most important part when I stay here is the bed. It's not a mushy old mattress, they're great with support and comfort. The hotel is in a great part of River North, close enough to walk to the lake, or the Mag Mile. Even closer are top class restaurants and specialty stores, along with plenty of places for nightlife. Thanks for another great stay here! I'll be leaving for my flight home in a couple hours.

The food was delicious, the facilities were clean, and the staff was nothing but kind and attentive. My friends and I will definitely stay here again.
