Fast and friendly service. Everything prepared to order. Full bar with excellent selection of cocktails and draft beers. Food is so good! Nice set up with outside covered patio.

My friend and I had lunch here recently and I really enjoyed it. She had a bad experience the last time we were here and the restaurant gifted her a gift card to use on another visit. I had the Havarti Shroom Burger - beef patty, havarti cheese, double portion mushroom topping, regular mayo instead of the jalapeño scallion aioli, lettuce wrap instead of the gourmet brioche bun. My burger was cooked to my liking and very tasty. The lettuce wrap was large and with the paper wrapper, I was able to eat the burger in my hands and not with a knife and fork. Very nice. For my side, I had the Stand Slaw: house-made slaw with green and red cabbage, green onion, parsley, and our house-made slaw dressing. This was nice and vinegary. A bit too many green onions for my taste but overall not bad. But I probably will do a different side next time. Good service and good food!

Yay, it's pink in the middle.

Kudos to The Stand's customer service team! After my original review of The Stand, they reached out to me to apologize for the inconsistency with the quality of our meal, and invited us to come back to give them another try. This wasn't a generic reply. Zachary specifically addressed the issues I mentioned, he showed empathy, and sincerely wanted to make it right. After a few months, my friend and I were ready to see if maybe they just had an off night when we first visited. We met up for lunch on Friday, and I made a point to order the same items so I could compare apples to apples. I ordered the ABC burger, onion rings, and a fountain soda. My friend opted for a different route. She had the Havarti Shroom burger with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, cole slaw, and a soda. I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked, and I asked if they could do medium rare. The woman taking our order affirmed that it was possible, so I let her know that's what I wanted. Would it be pink this time? Our food was brought to the table, and even at first glance, it looked much better. My burger wasn't drowning in ranch, and the onion rings looked appealing. Everything was markedly better. And best of all, my burger was pink in the middle, yay! Good job, The Stand! Now that we've had a satisfying meal, we will be back soon. Again, excellent customer service thanks to Zachary & Oscar. I look forward to trying more of your food and enjoying consistent quality in future visits. Thank you!

Love this place! So good! Huge place, cute vibes with string lights outside. Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Been here twice but life got in the way and haven't been able to review until now. First time, ordered the miso salmon bowl. Had a delicious kick that cleared your sinuses. The short rib grilled cheese was really good. Cheesy and gooey, not too decadent. The chili fries were okay. Not the best chili I've had. The stand fries were really good and crispy. Lightly seasoned. The ABC burger was good, but my only gripe was that my buns were not warmed up/toasted. I need to remind them to toast it next time. Everyone else's buns were warmed/toasted. The Big Blue Burger was sooo good and the blue cheese was not overpowering and did not disappoint, neither did the Onion Stack. The seared ahi tuna salad was good too... but of course we always wish there was more tuna! And that miso salmon bowl was just so amazing, it was ordered both times! The onion rings were crispy but not hot, not sure if they were sitting a while. The strawberry birthday cake, and chocolate shakes were both so, so delicioso! The staff are very friendly and nice too! This is for sure our favorite new spot and we can't wait to come back and try something new every time! Love this place!

    Grilled cheese with short ribs

I came by for lunch with a girlfriend who is picky about her food. We were greeted warmly by the guy at the cash register, and the servers were very nice as well. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with short ribs, onion rings and a chocolate milkshake with whipped cream (I asked for a maraschino cherry). My girlfriend ordered a plain hamburger and a soft drink. The food, as usual, was very tasty and came out very quickly. The facility is clean, located in a mall that has a Tastetea, Cha Cha Sushi, and other nice places. There is a Wells Fargo Bank in this mall as well. We consider this our "go to" place to eat good American food, we weren't disappointed. We both came back home, happy and replete.

Very large patio with lots of seating
    Cindy M.

Patio seating has heaters that turn on to make it cozy and warm for a night al.fresco. Music is softly playing in the background so you don't hear everything from the street traffic or the others talking around you. We started working our way down the line of items on the menu.. Thos time the burger of choice was the French Onion soup. It literally comes with a cup of beef broth smothered with the onions. You can dip the burger if you want extra saucynesss in every bite. Love the Vegan option. I had the falafel wrap. It was filled with crunchy falafel, greens , cucumber, tomato and red onion. It could.ss with a side of tahini hummus..Grab the jalapeno sauce to add. Ordering at the front is a good way to get things started. We have been fortunate to experience friendly service with everyone greeting us as we walk in.. Everything we tried so far is very fresh and taste is on point. If you want a spot to have a good meal with a relaxing atmosphere, you'll do well with choosing a good spot here.

Was in the area and was recommended this place by yelp and it didn't disappoint. Very welcoming and friendly staff with great service. It's rare when the establishment is promoting their app on the discounts you can get. Ordered the onion stack burger with no bacon jam and chili cheese fries. It's comes with onion strings, bacon on a brioche bun. No overpowering sauce on the burger and the chili cheese fries were almost perfect. Fries weren't soggy at all and very flavorful. There's a small bar area with a f ew tv to watch the games or fight. Nice burger spot that I'd definitely be back again to visit

I prefer this location of the stand over the one off Lawrence Expressway. I like the seating area better. During my last visit, I tried the chimichurri steak salad and it was great. The charred corn vinaigrette was so unique, I loved this on the salad and to use as a dip for the chips. I also really enjoy the short rib grilled cheese. My husband's go-to orders are the bbq brisket sandwich and the tex-mex bowl. The service here is pretty slow, but the food makes up for it.

This is the first time we visited The Stand since they took over the location from Aqui's. Initially I thought they are just another typical burger place but I was pleasantly surprised by their wide varieties of choices on the menu. Their service is pretty quick, and the ambiance is very bright and clean. People there all seem to be enjoying themselves. We like the dishes we ordered and will definitely come back again!

    The French Onion Soup Burger

Hey there party people Just happened to walk in to an American burger joint called The Stand. It was counter service with an almost sports bar vibe. It was very clean and the wait staff were like hawks circling to take you plate away. Almost made you feel like you needed to get out... The food was average. We got the French onion soup burger...I know sounds weird but it was tasty with a cup of French onion soup Au jus. The onions rings were ok but nothing to write home about. I did see some salads go by that looked really good. If I were to go back I would definitely go with a salad before having the burgers. Be kind to one another

IMHO I've been to another Stand in Santa Clara, but this was my first visit to this new location. My friend and I each ordered The Stand burger plus an order of small onion rings to share. I was asked for my choice of dips and asked for two containers of ketchup. We grabbed some free pickles and chips from a tray on the counter. When our burgers arrived, I asked for to-go boxes since I knew I'd be eating only half and bringing the rest home. The kind server, Frankie (?) brought us each a knife to cut our burgers and two take-out boxes! I unwrapped my burger to cut it and was surprised to feel the top bun was cold as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. No burger should sit in a cold bun. However, the burger was tasty but messy to eat. I felt like the bun fell apart too easily as I ate it. Is the bun supposed to be toasted? I don't know... Onion rings were good. Service was friendly. Will I return? Probably, but next time I'll ask if the bun could be slightly toasted.

Sweet Potato Fries. The bag and cardboard container were pretty greasy.
    Stacy C.

I've been wanting to try The Stand for a while now and finally ordered dinner from them via DoorDash tonight. It wasn't good. I ordered a burger with the patty cooked medium, but it was well-done and extremely salty. I couldn't eat it. I also ordered sweet potato fries and the bag they came in was so drenched in oil it was a bit shocking. I could only eat a few of them due to the heavy grease. Both items were lukewarm even though it didn't take long for delivery. The chocolate chip cookie was okay. The only thing that tasted really good was the Coke fountain drink. I don't think I will try The Stand again.

Piri-Piri Chicken Bowl and Sweet Potato Fries
    Nu Nandar A.

You order at the counter, and the staff gives you a number and bring your food to the table. I ordered the Piri-Piri Chicken Bowl and Sweet Potato Fries. The chicken bowl was decent and filling. The sweet potato fries were ok, though they were a bit soft for my preference. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal. Overall, a solid option for a quick and tasty bite.

What meat is used in chili?

Most likely beef, as that's the standard chili meat in like 99% of places. The only other option would be turkey, but usually, they'd advertise that as such to relate to the healthy crowd.

The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another

If it's your first time coming, please know that their entrance is a little odd. It's behind the Main Street so you have to walk into a parking lot to get to it and if you're lucky, it's the same parking lot you find a spot in because parking in downtown Campbell is rough when it's not that busy, now imagine when it is! Their tower fries are made with carne asada and I think are a decent rival to the carne asada fries you can find at a local taqueria like Santa Fe over in East Side San Jose. Do not come for me! I said decent rival but delicious in their own right if you don't compare them to authentic carne asada fries. They make the best tequila cream chicken pasta I have had. I really enjoy their tamarin margarita as well. The employees also seem happy to be here which makes for a great experience in terms of atmosphere and customer service. Definitely recommend this place

Great Views & Fun Atmosphere…read more I like this restaurant because you can look straight out at the historic water tower while you eat! It's a trendy, bright restaurant and sports bar with 19 big screens, so there's definitely a fun atmosphere. Restrooms: Decent, clean, and bright. Parking: Free, but limited within the complex. Service: Friendly and efficient, although a little slow. They also offer private event bookings on the second floor, with an open bar, bartender, and private waiter to accommodate the event. For our event, we had a pretty big spread: fruit platter, chicken wings, hummus platter with chickpea salad, marinated heirloom tomatoes, flatbreads and cucumber, pretzels with house honey mustard and beer cheese, tower fries, marinated steak, garlic noodles, mac and cheese buns, Asian chicken salad, garlic flank steak, and oven paprika chicken. The open bar was only $14 per person and included a selection of soda, juice, draft beer, wine, and sparkling wine. Pretty reasonable for a private event!

Janay (lead bartender) took care of us and was inviting and welcoming. You can tell she knows what she's doing in terms of mixology, and offered me a complimentary strawberry shochu (japanese pepper) shot to celebrate my first time in SF! Vibes were great, service was great, and the line wasn't long at all. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

We quickly learned that it's actually closer to $40 since you need to buy a $14-17 mocktail/cocktail. I'll be honest, I don't drink that much so I can't tell you if that's expensive but it does feel like a bit of a bait and switch. We ordered truffle fries, koji wings, the classic burger and two prime rib dinners. All of the food arrived at different times so some of it was already cold before we started eating. I know we could start eating whatever comes out first but let's be honest. Dining with friends is a very social event and it's somewhat standard for dishes to arrive together. I also ordered subbed truffle fries, was charged the sub, but ended up getting regular fries Food-wise, the koji wings were pretty good. There was a good amount of seasoning and the breading texture was super crispy. The meat itself was a bit bland. Truffle fries were super crunchy and had a balanced truffle flavor. Burger was fine. I've definitely had and made better burgers before. It was a pretty standard burger. Cooked good. A bit overpriced for how mild of a burger it was though. Prime rib was a huge portion. I only had a couple bites from my friends but it seemed well-seasoned. Some parts were nice and tender but the red parts were very chewy. Overall, main dishes were OK in portion but lackluster in experience. Side portions are on the smaller end considering their price but generally delicious. Considering their extensive alcohol collection, I think this place is definitely known for its vibe and drinks rather than its food. Staff seem super friendly though! Especially the bartenders
