Had a faulty water heater installation when originally put in, i was unaware of at the time. piping to water heater and drain pan w/ drain pan piping faulty too. this caused a massive heater leak to our dining room, some of living room and hallway, not to forget the water damage to water heater closet in garage. our home insurance recommended the Steam Team and sent them out immediately. very short response and they went to work immediately... coming out every other day to check on water damage status. very polite, prompt and helpful. did a fantastic job. i highly recommend them to everyone! read more

I contacted the Steam Team to clean my carpets after reading Yelp reviews and the Better Business Bureau report. I have used other carpet cleaning companies before, but wasn't completely satisfied with the service. They just left and I'm tickled pink!! I also had them steam clean my tile and seal the grout. Technician Caleb was very fast, very professional and did a marvelous job. We had some scheduling issues to get around in the past couple of weeks and since that started off with a company emergency, they offered me a nice discount for being inconvenienced. I will use this company again. I have 6 schnauzers and 4 of them are very old and sick. Their job wasn't easy, but worked out great. I don't think you will be disappointed. We have had the unfortunate experience of needing them for water extraction when a pipe burst. We also used them to help recover from a hail storm that shattered multiple windows and left our house covered in glass. I've used The Steam Team a total of 3 times (twice at this home, once at my old condo) and I won't go anywhere else. You get a rough quote on the phone and a time window; every time, my final cost has actually been less than imagined (probably because my area rugs aren't fancy) and they've always arrived in the time window they offered. I had Shon this past visit and he was kind enough to do an extra rug I hadn't planned on. I even told him I needed to go get my kids from preschool and the poor man hustled so I'd be able to do it. The rugs look great, but what's amazing is the tile I had steamed and sealed. Yes, I mop. Yes, my kids remove their shoes (most of the time) in the house. But the grout between the tiles was way nastier than I'd imagined. I wish I'd done a before/after because it looks brand new. And the best part is, the seal will last roughly 2-3 years, as long as I continue to clean without bleach or other harsh cleaners. read more

The demo and board up was timely. During the refurb, there was no communication on delays. They gave a portal to watch progress which was NEVER updated by them. In November, I asked for the property to be fenced and secured. It happened late January leaving the obviously fire damaged, vacant property vulnerable. Supply delays and COVID issues understandable. Lack of organization or understanding of critical path planning not understandable. Not manning the job for months at time, not understandable. Promises made, not kept. Get EVERYTHING in writing, which you will have to ask for three times before you get it, if you do at all. Job supervisor's manager emailed "I would love to meet and talk about your issues". This was the last we heard from him despite multiple texts and emails. To this day, he still has not responded. Great job in speed of response and clean up. Very poor job in completing project. The funny thing is they are even delayed getting the last invoice to us! read more

I have used the Steam Team for years, but it had been a while - I called them for a "mid-lease" cleaning as a roommate with cats had moved out and I was tired of smelling them, after the fact. It was a very small area - two bedrooms upstairs, tiny hall, plus the stairs themselves. Shon quoted me over the phone, I told him where the key was, he dealt with my dog, did the job, locked up and left me an invoice, and stopped by later to pick up payment. The entire transaction was smooth and easy and the carpets look GREAT!! So many of the businesses I deal with these days, I feel like I have to fight for "normal courtesy" and that they don't care about my stuff as much as I care about my stuff. I have like 600 sf of super non-skid tile in my house. I tried other cleaning companies, and not only did they fail to clean the tile, the blamed me for tearing up their equipment. Steam Team is great. Their equipment made short work of tile dirt which I could not get off with evil stepmother style brushing. I wish I had done it sooner. Mario was super. Personable, knowledgable, polite - everything you could ask for. I was called 30 minutes ahead of time to verify the address. Mario showed up right on time. My cats had urinated on the leather sofa. It's been there awhile, soaked in and dried. The sofa is now very clean. It smells a lot less. Now you have to stick your nose next to the sofa to smell it but it's still there. I really didn't think there was anything that would completely remove the smell short of new cushions.
