Looking for a place to have lunch and chill between Denver area appointments, we stumbled upon The Stillery in Westminster CO. OMG!!! Pleasantly surprised to find an immaculately clean restaurant, with great service and terrific food! At lunch time, the cavernous place was really looking empty with only 3 tables occupied with customers. But, the bartender on duty took great care of all 3 parties and made us all feel appreciated on a slow day. First, the beverages are spectacular, as we thoroughly enjoyed a couple beers and cocktails. Then, the Fried Pickles appetizer was fantastic! Lightly battered, deep fried and a HUGE portion enough to feed at least four! A great way to start. Then, the main courses for lunch: The Blackened Salmon and the Fried Catfish --- WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Both were cooked and served to perfection, with fish so tender and delicious that you'll savor every bite. Even the fries on the side were perfect, just a tad salty but extremely tasty. Bottom line: This place is outstanding. If it was this good for a casual lunch, we can only imagine how awesome it'll be for dinner! We'll definitely be back to The Stillery in the future! read more

We were there on a Saturday afternoon. Food was great. Service was great. We ate inside, and there was live entertainment which is nice, but it made it difficult to talk and hear each other. I felt like the prices seemed a little higher than expected. I had the Thai Chicken Salad. It was excellent and so large that I could not finish it. The Jalapeño poppers were great. The burgers were good. The fries were cold. The Mac n cheese was tasty. I recommend this place if you want to hear music while you eat and not visit. read more

Huge country bar in Westminster where rock bottom used to be. Gets really busy at night with dancing and live music.

Great new spot in the promenade area. Started off with good service by Jayy he was definitely detailed and helped get us on the right pace for the menu. The bar selection was great plenty of tequilas to get the visit going. Only negative Definitely need to learn what a Palamo is. We started with Brussel sprouts they were good and the dipping sauce was flavorful. I got the Pretzel Burger it was good. The Man & Cheese was the highlight of the meal. Wifey got the Nashville chicken salad it was a large helping and hit the spot. We will definitely be making a visit again later in the evening to enjoy the live music and the bar area. This was my 4th trip. Have had 4 different servers or bartenders and they were all great. Helpful, polite and friendly to be around. The food has always been even very good. This was our first time dining here. I'm sorry to say we won't be back. I had French Toast that came out almost cold. The syrup was cold (I mean who serves cold syrup with French Toast) and it was soggy in the middle. I asked for a side of bacon extra crispy and it was semi crispy. Very cool place if you like country music. Server and hostess were very good. But...the food is just bad bar food- pretty sure it's all premade and re-heated. The Nashville hot chicken came out cool. We sent it back and the manager brought a new order and as he placed it on the table he said "sorry that the first one came out luke warm". Luke warm? Not even close. I wonder why he'd even have to say that. The baked cheese app which was recommended by the server was disgusting. The sauce tastes like jarred red sauce, the "cheese" is so gross and the bread with pesto is inedible. The burger was decent but wouldn't go back for it. I'm glad this place has opened up in the area. We needed a good live music venue nearby and the fact that it's country is an added bonus. It's not Nashville, but likely the closest thing we will get in Colorado! I've been here a few times now and the music has been pretty good, atmosphere is great and the food is decent bar food. The Caesar salad has a a bit too much lemon juice but the pizza is good. I don't love that drinks are served on a paper cup after a certain time. Not serving a Moscow Mule in a brass cup should be illegal and a cosmo needs to be chilled in a glass. . Pro tip, order bottled beer instead unless you are already so drunk it doesn't matter, which by this time, could be the case. ‍. Our second visit to the Stillery was on an early Sunday evening. On our first visit we had excellent service, great drinks, and delicious food. Unfortunately, our second visit was terrible. The smash drinks were not right and tasted like soda water. I had a chicken sandwich that was fried to Oblivion. The fries were greasy, the fryer oil definitely needed changed. The service was mediocre at best, and the music played while the band was on break was the highlight of the visit. Bottom line, won't be back. read more

Went to the Stillery on Thursday 10/12. Made a reservation. Showed up on time. The place had less than 10% of the tables filled. We were set in the back next to the large screen TVs. The TVs are hung low so we were, "right next to the TV's". Almost all the tables in this nook were full. However all of the tables near the stage and front end of the restaurant were open. We asked to be moved and the hostess said you are at tables we give to those with reservations. Perplexing statement, I told her I was taking a table closer to the front and moved. The food was fine , the decor is antiseptic barn grunge. . The poor band with all the audience set in a book did not the advantage of playing up to anyone. Was in town for a conference and choose this place becasue it was walking distance from the hotel. I am generally not a chain place and this place has full chain vibe. That said, I was plesently surprised. Both my chicken sandwich and fries were good, and the drink I had was very tasty. This place is super fun. The ambiance is very south western. They had a musician in from Tennessee who was a truly lovely singer. The Nashville hot wings are delicious and they have my favorite cider in a can: Stem. UPDATE: they were short handed and overwhelmed today. They made a great Ledford at fixing all the mistake an and computed our whole group. Appreciate their effort. This place looks great, but unfortunately the food wasn't the best and service was not great as they messed up multiple orders, never brought our beers and forgot about I'd for about 35min. We had to get the waiters attention 5 times. They were trying to fix things but just seem to be struggling. Has the opportunity to be a great place, but unfortunately not today. read more

What a disappointment! We met family visiting from out of town for dinner and I've been to The Stillery once before and had decent drinks sand the live music was good, so I thought it would be a fun spot. Not the case this time! The music was genuinely below par verging on bad and it was loud enough that having a conversation is challenging. It's a Wednesday so I am assuming that may have something to do with the entertainment choice. Drinks were fine - we ordered beers and a Blueberry smash which was okay. Unfortunately, the food was truly bad. The Nashville hot chicken was over cooked and dry and wasn't even fully coated in the hot sauce. The Mac n cheese is made in a mini-cast iron skillet and we had 3 orders at our table....ALL 3 orders were burnt and tasted like burned pasta and cheese. It was so bad that my mom took her leftovers and we had to toss it when we got home because the car and the food smelled so bad (burnt cheese is terrible!) in total, we had 2 beers and 1 cocktail as well as a Nashville chicken sandwich, Mac w/ Nashville chicken, and 2 plain Mac n cheese orders. Total bill was $126+ tip. That's a hefty price tag for 3 orders of burned Mac n cheese. Service was fine - our waiter was a very nice guy. I would go back to have drinks on a weekend and listen to music maybe but I'll make sure we eat before we go. read more

The only way to get served is if you sit at the bar. The place is really cool and the music is great. But the service was pretty horrific. If you sit at the open seating tables you will not get served. Went in on a primetime Thursday with a ton of sports on including the broncos game and it took 45 minutes before I decided to just head to the bar to grab a drink. The server continued to just walk by and not say anything. I even made an effort to make eye contact to order something and he just walked right by. Disappointing to say the least. read more
