Half a waffle, sausage, eggs, and avocado

So a very nice woman at the Coeur d'Alene visitor center told us about this place for breakfast. It's very cute new and modern. Whitney was our server and she was very nice and friendly. She was also from California like a lot of the people we've been meeting. My husband had eggs over easy waffles and bacon, and I had scrambled eggs, a half of waffle avocado and sausage. Both meals were great. The waffles are different than what you're used to, but they were good. They use real maple syrup. I had coffee and it was in a large mug which I like, the 1st cup was kind of strong, but then I got used to it.

A fun concept! They just opened so grace is needed for their staff as they learn their positions. For example, my water was empty and my daughter's was half empty. I asked for more water and they only filled mine. So, you have to prompt the serving staff as they missed some of the basics of serving. In time I am sure it will come. The menu is fun! Plenty of sweet and savory options. We enjoyed the benie and added tomatoes and avocado. Delicious! We also did the flight and my fav was the lemon meringue. The restaurant is in a great location but be ready to walk if town is busy. There is no parking lot specifically for the restaurant but that is pretty much all of CDA downtown. A fun place and addition to the restaurant scene.

A 100% Gluten-free waffle bar in Coeur d-Alene?! Yes please!! This place is amazing. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented. A great location with LOTS of natural light and a view of downtown! Service was excellent and friendly and FAST! Will definitely be coming back!

Sweet sampler. Cinnamon, lemon blueberry, strawberry and cream, cookies and cream and rotating flavor was lemon curd.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

Once we experienced the super-friendly service and delicious food, we understood what all the fuss was about. We ordered the spring salads with grilled chicken. It was ok. Not worth $17. Then they ran out of blue cheese crumbles and ran to the store. Sadly to say I never got them which might have added to the taste of the salad given it was supposed to come with them. We waited a very long time for our salads. And a very long time for the bill which I thought the might credit a dollar or two due to running out of blue cheese. But no. Just an apology. Indoor eating is very loud. So be prepared. Also the bathroom had no hand towels to dry my hands. Sorry to be disappointed. It might have been an off day as it seems pretty popular.
