Great spot with a patio and back room. No minimum to reserve the back room which was clutch. Very warm inside. Staff are very attentive and had to deal with a ton of rowdy people, glass breaking, and heavy crowds. They handled it all professionally without cracking. Great spot. Only wish is draft beer!

Such a great place. Cocktails are so nice, the popcorn is delicious! The staff are fantastic. We haven't had more food there, but I'd love to at some point. Go go go!

We stumbled upon this place Christmas Eve, we peeped a good vibe through the window and we found the following: - A huge 4-month old Husky who was being trained by a dude who owned a ghost kitchen and was extremely sweet - New friends who had some shots with us - Super nice bartenders who sang the theme to Golden girls with us - A full moon and colorful Christmas tree in the heated patio - Hot girl in a Grinch dress who agreed to come home with me - Other miscellaneous goodness A+ would recommend

Iced coffee with their house chocolate sauce!

Lovely owner- didn't eat the food but wish I had! Ask the owner to add her chocolate sauce (from the cookies) to your iced coffee- they shake it and it is MAGICAL!!!

Every time I come here the service is phenomenal, Jose behind the bar will always take good care of you. The ambiance is warm and chill, the outdoor space is cute. I've ordered the hummus many times here and the last time they replenished my pita complimentary. They've always been more than accommodating here, one of my favorite places to come to in the East Village

Great experience here last Thursday night for my birthday. I emailed them about a reservation beforehand and they got back to me quickly. You can reserve ahead for parties of10 or more. At first we had reserved the backyard, but it was so humid so they offered us the back table instead. Both spots are great for mingling. The drinks were superb and HH lasted til 8pm! The watermelon mojito was refreshing. I have to say though, my fave was the Charmaine Star. Shout out to the bartender in the back bar for excellent drinks. This place serves small bites, friends ordered the pork sliders, prosciutto, Mediterranean platter, and the tuna tartare. I have to say the tuna tartare was Amazing. One of the top 5 I have had in the city. My friends and I had a great time and they complimented me on my choice of bars. Special thanks to Shayan for being there when we needed him and making our experience enjoyable and for putting up with the balloon animals :p Great spot for small gatherings and also for date nights!

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.

We walked into a space that combines old-world pub details with a more refined cocktail bar experience, the kind of setting that feels both lively and traditional. The multiple levels offered different moods, from the busy downstairs bar with its energetic crowd to the more relaxed upstairs seating area that encouraged a longer, slower visit, and the design of the room made it feel like a destination rather than just a quick stop for a drink. The drinks are the main attraction, with a strong focus on whiskey-based cocktails and classic Irish influences. We ordered a few options and found the cocktail menu creative without losing the character of the bar, each drink arriving thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. The Guinness was another standout option for those looking for something more traditional, served with the care that a proper pint deserves. The food menu also added to the experience, with items like lobster deviled eggs, scotch eggs, fish and chips, and hearty Irish-inspired dishes that paired well with the drinks. The food was solid and complemented the bar's identity, making it easy to settle in for a longer visit with both drinks and snacks. The atmosphere can get extremely busy, especially around peak hours, and getting inside may require patience even with reservations. Once seated, however, the experience became much more comfortable, with attentive service and a setting that encouraged lingering over drinks. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the visit kept the experience smooth without feeling rushed. Overall, The Dead Rabbit delivers a memorable combination of cocktails, history, and atmosphere, making it a destination bar rather than just a quick stop for a drink.
