This joint has been on my to go list so today was the perfect day too try it out! It was about 1 when we made our way there and we were hoping that the breakfast/brunch rush had kind of slowed down. There was a table ahead of us. My husband and I decided to sit at the bar since therewere a couple spots open. We wanted to save the table for a family that needed more room. And we actually like sitting at the bar. We sat ourselves and kinda of waited for sone service. It was very busy still so it took a minute for someone to help us. No problem, my husband and I just chilled till someone got to us. We finally got coffee and juice started while we were looking over the menu. The gal that got my coffee was sweet. She got me fresh creamer and sweetner packets so I didn't have to use the communal packets. I appreciate how understanding she was about my requests and my want to protect my new kidney. The menu has a lot of options which was great! Everything sounded tasty since we were so hungry! My husband grabbed the 2 biscuits and gravy meal with 2 eggs. I got the Tomlet with some spinach added without the hashbrowns and toast. Our food came out fast and hot! It all looked so good. My omelet had hamburger, olives, onions, cheese, jalapenos and fresh spinach. It was just what I wanted! I added sour cream and salsa to that baby, it was so good! My husband's biscuits and gravy were massive! The best homemade biscuits and gravy we ever had came from a gas station in Athens, Ga. These biscuits and gravy were busy as good! They are the best we have had in town! The biscuits were fluffy and airy, not too dense. The gravy was savory and rich. I don't know what kind of sausage they used but it was really good! Sausage gravy is a 50/50 for us but this gravy was killer! Everything was so fantastic! We ate every bite of our food and didn't regret it one bit! I appreciate the small, hometown feel of this restaurant. Servers knowing their guests by their first names. The prices were reasonable. The coffee was hot and my cup was always filled. The food was killer good! Our service was great. This joint is a little further than our normal brunch joints but they are so worth the drive! I look foward to coming back and having another great meal! And having one of them massive cinnamon rolls will be a must as well!

Cattlemen's is it. How so? I took my wife there a couple of weeks ago and, when we returned this week, the waitress told us we could sit anywhere and when she came over with coffee, she remembered that we sat at the same table the last time. Not only that but when she asked what we were doing that day and we told her she remembered what we had told her a week and a half earlier. : 0 And the food. Their biscuits are the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Not only are they massive but they are flaky and moist (not the dry hockey pucks you get at other places). And their gravy is flavorful and a perfect pairing. Unlike the pasty mess at other places that will remain nameless. the eggs are perfectly cooked, the sign of a great cook, and the variety is sure to please anyone in your group. If you want a breakfast place that is like being in mom's kitchen but better, you need to get to Cattlemen's. You won't regret it.

I am from out of town and was in Middleton visiting my aunt and cousins. A group of five came here for dinner last week. The servers need to be taught how to be courteous to their patrons. My aunt ordered their turkey dinner, it came with no dressing as stated on the menu.When my aunt inquired where is my dressing, the server gave her a blank stare then replied " you didn't order a salad". My aunt Kind of scoffed and said no, the dressing with my turkey. Again the server gave her a blank stare and scoffed right back, and asked " are you referring to the gravy? It's right there pointing to her turkey". My aunt requested a menu to show her what she was referring to when the night manager came up and asked what the problem was. The manager agreed with the server in that the gravy was the dressing, that's the way we do it here was the managers curt reply. Lo and behold up walks the server with my aunt's side of vegetables and side of dressing. My aunt exclaims oh there it is. The server and manager reply in unison, oh you mean stuffing. Really???? These women are not teenagers as you might expect. The manager was at least in her early 40's. It says right on the menu Turkey and Dressing. If that was not enough. Another woman in our group ordered a chef salad. After a few bites she says what is THAT? We all look at her as she pulls a plastic bread tie clip out of her salad. She calls the Server and manager over showing them the plastic clip. They roll their eyes and leave the table without a word. No apology, no offer to comp her meal, no offer to make her another salad, nothing. I am not sure if they are aware of this but that is a major health code violation. I tried to get her to call the health department but she wouldn't do it. I would have but I felt it should be her because it was her salad. I am not sure if I will ever darken their door again but probably not! read more

Not here. They list off 10 or so add ins and you can literally add every one of them if you wanted. For 12 bucks..... I got a 3 egg omelet with green peppers, onions, spinach, potatoes, mushrooms, steak, cheese and sour cream. Bro, that would be a 25 dollar omelet easy at some places in town. I got that heavy weight for 12 dollars! My son was not a crazy as me and got pancakes, egg, bacon with a biscuit. I can't begin to tell you that the size of my omelet was comparable to the size of my calf. It we massive! Stuffed with everything that I love. The steak was tender, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, I appreciate that the veggies were sautéed. I got a massive side of sour cream for it. It was so good! I ate about half and took the other half home for later. My son of course enjoyed his bacon, eggs and pancakes. He was so full that he didn't get to try the biscuit. But from looking at it, you can tell that bad boy was homemade. It was hefty! I love that I got to check this new joint out. It's only been open for 4 months. When we came in it was rather slow but with social media and reviews, I know they will start filling up them empty tables. Today was almost a flawless visit. Our server was really young and made some rookie mistakes. My son and I barely had 3 bites of our food before our bill was dropped off. As slow as it was, I didn't even get a refill on my coffee or wasn't even asked how our food was before the bill was dropped off. Not the best move in my opinion but she's young and still learning the industry. The bill could have been dropped off with our boxes. The steak was tender but there were several pieces of hard gristle in my omelet. Not the most fun thing to chew. And it's a personal thing for me with plastic table covers. I understand that it keeps the table clothes clean but I just not a fan of eating on them. Overall, this venue is very pretty and welcoming. The staff is super nice. They have a little bit of everything here from desserts, unlimited variety of espresso drinks, breakfast and lunch. I do hope that this new local restaurant takes off and becomes everyone's go to breakfast joint in that area. I do look forward to coming back and grabbing another omelet from Betty's. And hopefully every seat will be filled with a regular patron.

This morning I had the french toast and my husband got the bacon and cheese omelette with a waffle. They make their own donuts, so I had to get one for later. Everything was amazing! We sat at the bar and could hear the country music in the kitchen which we enjoyed. Emmerson was such a sweet server and Ken (regular) picked up our tab! Thank you, Ken. They quoted us 15 minutes, but we were seated within five minutes. Andee took great care of me and my mom, coffee and tea cups always full, waffle and french toast orders delivered promptly. The waffle was especially good... I'll get that again next time. Or, the French dip at the next table looked pretty good too with wedge fries.

We've had the Machaca, Mediterranean omelette, pork chops, French toast and pancakes. Will definitely be back.
