The service is absolutely terrible for people on DoorDash and uber eats, there is no communication involved and when the food arrives, it's absolutely horrible and is considered a health hazard. I ordered cremè brûlée for my family and they made my dasher wait over 30 minutes just to serve me puddles on hot custard that is mean to be served cold. If you don't have the items available to serve to customers who order it, compensate! Don't give this health hazard and disappointment.

    Absolutely incredible birria tacos!

We were searching for great gluten-free options and landed at Taco 105 -- and wow, we were not disappointed! I had the best birria tacos of my life here last night -- perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. This place is a must-visit!

Everything was so delicious and fresh would definitely go back, if you are In the neighborhood you need to check this place out

Absolutely delicious! The Japanese (tuna poke) was incredible! Loved them all

The Quick: so many flavorful options! Basically, any cuisine you can think of is represented in a taco at this new family-owned, local small business. The Details: carnivore, pescatarian, vegan, vegetarian... They have something for everyone! This is a great spot for a group because it would be amazing to try everything on the menu. I loved my Asians inspired taco with seaweed and fresh ahi tuna. The vegan tacos work great too, especially the house made mushroom and walnut mixture. Definitely worth trying... Especially because the owners were so nice and the service was great. The Damage: reasonable for hearty Flavorful tacos. Remember this is not fast food pricing, each one is handmade with quality ingredients

Good little spot right in Mattituck! We popped in for some pickup thinking it would just be tacos, but they have some really unique flavors. I had a regular Mexican pulled pork and a birria. The birria was INCREDIBLE! The regular pork taco was nothing special and lacked flavor in my optinion. My partner went on the specialty side and got the Hawaiian, Jamaican, and Korean tacos. He loves anything with pineapple, so Hawaiian and Jamaican were very good but Jamaican was number one. The Korean taco was served on a Bao and he loved it too. Excited to go back and try more flavors. The Cuban taco was calling my name!

Stopped in for some tacos on the way back from Orient Point. Wasn't sure what to expect as we were big fans of Mattitaco. The inside was pretty much the same but the menu had many more options. The owner was friendly and helpful. There were quite a few taco offerings including International inspired tacos and a ceviche taco as well. Quesadilla, burritos and even desserts. The tacos were good. The El Pastor was filled with shredded pork and was tasty. Bang Bang Thai Shrimp also a good choice but could have used a bit more shrimp. Jerk Chicken was also good but a bit dry. Chicken quesadilla was loaded with tender meat and cheese, very good. Overall good food but more of a take out atmosphere with a few tables.

3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 stars for the creativity. This business was formerly known as Mattitaco, but closed some time in 2023. Chenza's Twisted Tacos replaced this business afterwards (different owners). Fusion tacos? Sign me up! Restaurant has retained some of the old decor, but added a lot more to the menu. Service is quick. The tacos were brought out within a few minutes. The prices are a bit steep for what it is ($6.00+ for 1 taco??) and they're not offering taco combo specials, but surely the food would be good. For lunch, I ordered the Al Pastor Taco and the Bang Bang Thai Shrimp Tacos. The Al Pastor Taco was good, although a bit bland. I found myself needing to add some hot sauce to make it a little more palatable. Surprisingly the hot sauce was not that spicy! The pineapple was fresh, which was a plus. But, not the best al pastor taco I've had. My mom ordered the chicken taco, which she thought was bland. The Bang Bang Thai Shrimp Tacos were better. The chili sauce had a nice spice kick to it and the shrimp were delicious! I only wish they could've added some more of the guacamole, as I didn't really taste it until the very end. Food is definitely better than the former Mattitaco business, but some kinks could still be worked out. I'll be back to give this place another shot down the road. Maybe some other things are better.

This is the best restaurant on Long Island. I've been here multiple times and everything that I've gotten here has been awesome, I really recommend the Japanese taco and the loaded fries. The owners are also so kind and in the summer sitting outside is great. Will definitely come back here.

Owner was snotty and disingenuous. That should have been my clue to walk out the door! On with the review! The tacos themselves were, frankly, terrible. I ordered the Thai Bang Bang taco with shrimp which turned out, to my surprise, to contain NO SHRIMP (and a heavy of disgusting 'guac') and the New England lobster roll taco (for $15) which was filled 98% with shredded lettuce and less than a teaspoon of a terrible mayo/lobster mix. Shall I go on? I SHALL! The tortillas themselves were dreadful, flavorless, and thick, and the street corn had hardly any cojita or dressing. Oh, how I WISH I had NOT ordered take-away ... I did call to question the above and the owner was snide, rude, and dismissed my concerns/call, stating that "we only use a teaspoon of filler for the lobster mix" and this is standard!!!IN WHAT WORLD?!?? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Great little spot in Mattituck. Had indoor and outdoor seating options. Service was great! Super friendly and recommended some great taco options. I will be a recurring customer. We sat outside and they even brought out a water bowl and dog treat for our dog. Very kind people.

Amazing!!! What a great new place, on the North Fork (Mattituck) ...cute little place to eat inside or outside, right on Main Rd, directly across from the Mattituck Theater shopping center. Had lunch, with friends. Everyone was super-impressed & we all agree we will visit again & visit often! Their tacos are huge & full! Such a nice/different variety. Their nachos are REALLY good. Also got the Greek taco-impressive & delicious! Started with chips/salsa while waiting & they were fresh & delicious (not at all like chips from the grocery store) Ordered a burrito & it was great! Too many things to list and we intend on trying them all! Also--the prices were great, too! I've spent way more @ Panera & McD's and got half the amount for more $$! Chenzas is great & the owners helpful & super-friendly! Love this place & a wonderful addition to the community! Enjoy!

Had the mezcal Paloma and my wife had the bees knees which were both created to absolute perfection. The Littles looked over the menu and were kinda ‍ but our waiter must speak kiddo and said that they have chicken fingers and other kid meals that they would be happy to make. Score!! We got the fried calamari for the table to start. Crispy, fresh and beautifully tender. Kids devoured them and almost took one of our fingers off for the last one. My wife had the summer risotto and made a request for grilled chicken on top which they were happy to do. I had the Greek farro salad with grilled chicken, again, after a day of wine tasting it was the protein I needed and lightness I was looking for. Chicken as a topper on both dishes was abundant . Our servers were attentive without being intrusive or trying to rush us out. Host was friendly and accommodating, even checked up on us as she escorted other diners to their table. QPR was right on point. All dishes were fresh, seasoned to perfection, creative utilizing what's local and what's in season and generously portioned. This place stays on my radar and will be frequented again and again when we're in town next. I wish more spots in CT were this creative with locally grown ingredients and still maintained an ambience of a friendly neighborhood bistro. Very welcoming place.

I've had a lot of clam chowder over the years, and the only bowl that beats this one is from Legal Seafoods in Boston. That's saying a lot. The staff was warm and attentive throughout, and our waitress Erica was wonderful, friendly, quick, and clearly knew the menu well. Only note: prices run a bit steep. We stuck to water/appetizers and still walked away with a solid bill for two chowders, one order of seafood cakes, and one order of pork pate. We found Red Rooster Bistro and thought it looked very cute. It is a lovely little building, looks like a French country house. My mother and I each order the portobello mushroom, her with cheese and me without cheese. We also ordered the beet salad. My brother had the pasta and my sister in law had chicken and salad. They loved their pasta and chicken. My mother and I were not as thrilled. The mushroom was tiny, buried under greens. I had expected a decent sized mushroom but ours were so small. I am glad we also ordered the beet salad, which was mostly greens but the beets were good. They also ordered the flourless chocolate cake, which they enjoyed. The server was excellent, and I enjoyed my glass of wine. I also loved the ambiance. French restaurants are always a bit of a challenge for me ( I am vegan) but honestly, they need to use bigger mushrooms and maybe add a veggie burger to the menu?

This place not only passed the vibe check, it's on its own level of coolness that demanded a vibe check of me. From the glittery epoxy floors, to the hand carved wooden creatures, colorful, creative and unique ceiling murals, multiple textures, and art deco and pop art features throughout, you feel fully immersed in an artist's dream from the second you walk in. The lighting and the French music playing overhead also lend themself to the unique experience. I ordered a margarita and 2 sips in, I found myself even more relaxed and enjoying more and more of the decor details of the cafe that I continued to notice throughout. The menu offered so many options, including quite a few vegan options, but I settled on the watermelon salad (weekly special), the boats n hoes spring rolls (veggie), and the Vegan Burger. The watermelon salad was so fresh and delicious, and it complemented my (2nd!) margarita perfectly! The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and flavorful and the vegan burger was the star of the show and was absolutely perfect, especially with the added fresh avocado on top! This place was somehow made even more fantastic by the quick-witted, fun-loving, hilarious owner/host/server, Marco, who provided us with great service and even better stories (were they all true??!!!). I highly recommend entering this magical establishment as soon and as often as possible so that you can count yourself lucky enough to have experienced it.

The restaurant we originally picked had a 20 minute wait... and with two hangry toddlers, we crossed the street and saw a restaurant sign on top of a neat looking bar. It is actually next to a bar as well, so we eyeing sure it was for the kids. I stood outside and the clock struck 2pm, and a nice gentleman opened the velvet rope for us and said "come in, we were open." Not knowing if this was for the kids or not, we walked in and saw one of the most interesting interiors I have seen in awhile. It was fun and different. The manager made it fun as well as he has a great attitude and happy to help in terms of recommendations. The menu itself is big and you will need some help. The first thing was needing to get food to two little hangry ones, so we asked for noodles, which he got on immediately, getting in a pancit order. That came out first and my wife and I took a few extended moments as the menu is extensive. I ordered the chicken and waffle with bang bang shrimp and my wife had the steak with rice and onions. Both dishes were flavorful and definitely enjoyable. I could definitely go back in again if I ever head back or East, but maybe taking the Long Island railroad would be better since it is across the street from the train station. Definitely stop in for a drink and enjoy the cool little toys and designs around the restaurant. This restaurant definitely provides variety of you want to try something new!
